I might love it if it would work! I can't say a thing I get either I have weak connection or my password is wrong?? So disappointing when you look forward to using it. I so wanted to be able to see my kitty while at work! I dont recommend purchasing this it a waste of time and money! I thought maybe I got a bad one and purchased another from a different seller same problem!!!! dont waste your money its garbage!!!

In my case the device is now not connecting to the internet and the status of internet is shown internet offline. Moreover the ads are really bothering. The configuration page is also not displaying. Don't know how to fix. Really disappointed. The camera is not recommended with this software at least. Trying to set up since last three days but failing.

PLEASE READ: It is a good app. but I have a suggestion to make it better. can you add an option to speed up video watching on the app. where we can view the videos recorded faster. 2x, 3x, 4x the normal speed. it would be easier to watch hours of videos for any movements.. thanks.

Camera does not work anymore when you touch the screen, it used to work but it does not anymore hence the 3 star rating. I was using this app for two years with my two cameras and not it doesn't move when I use the touch screen of my tablet and mobile phones please fix it, although the iOS version on my iPhone still works using the swipe gesture.

UPDATE AUG01/20: Don't bother sending email to the developer, no reply will be received. Alarm area setting doesn't work (Android 10). The app (Alfawise camera) needs improvement. The software has many bugs, the alarm activates outside the custom setting. It's not possible to download video files over WLAN. The standard 360/4 camera position depends on rotation of the light in its socket, so an ideal camera position is impossible & a custom camera position can't be saved.

This application used to be good but now it is entirely unusable. It no longer allows me to view the camera. Everytime I click play, it exits after a couple of seconds. I hope that developer fixes the bug instead of just fixing the ads. Until now, no fix yet for at least enabling me to view the IP camera. I regret buying the cam and will probably need to change it because the software won't work.

Latest update is broken. Additional dangerous permissions were added (telephone and location). They are not needed. I cannot enter my other camera after the update. Edit: Downgraded to previous version. As per dev, initial setup needs permissions above. But you can disable them later in Android settings and app will still work. No password reset. You need to physically press the reset button on the camera while it is powered on.

Instructions with the device is slightly confusing. Connect to device wifi which has same name as device and then connect mobile to home wifi. Device works quite good and decent video stream even on mobile data. Streaming was slow after recent app upgrade but looks like they have upgraded their severs and streaming has been really realtime recently. Have been using it almost a year and can say its value for money.

I bought 2 cameras, it wasn't really easy to set them up, but once they are set, they are easy to use with a good quality of camera especially the night video. The only issue is that: 1- the app itself is very slow and you have to try several times to gain an access to any of the app settings or features. 2- playback videos DON'T open most of the time 3- NO NOTIFICATION OR ALARM SENT TO THE PHONE OR THE APP TO NOTIFY IF SOMETHING IS DETECTED BY THE MOTION SENSOR . Please sort these issues out

Can't use the app anymore. It used to work fine before but what happened? We (my family members and I who had the apps on our phones) used to be able to view the recorded videos on the playback button. But now, the new version keeps telling us to download some apk. I tried downloading it and it was an old version of the app, which kept making Chinese advertisements popping up on our screens. It's very disappointing, to be honest.

this used to work OK, although sometimes was a bit moody when accessing remotely. However, today it is only working when I am connected to the same Wi-Fi network. I cannot connect and stream when on a different network, which defeats the whole purpose if having it. after trying to fix it for many hours, I finally gave up and ordered a different make of camera.

The internationalization (in particular, to Portuguese, but possibly other languages with the Latin alphabet with diacritics) is lacking in a number of ways... The letters that would have accents appear only as question marks. Also, the app is not in conformity with Android 8+ requirements of background use and the user gets warned that it may be using unnecessary power.

Crashes/Restarts constantly! Every time I try to watch recorded videos it will play a little bit, or maybe a couple of videos if I'm lucky, and then go back to the opening screen and load again. Occasionally does it while changing settings too. Incredibly frustrating! Also I have to use the older version to be able to play the videos (but three current version crashed just the same.) It's a real shame, because while it does briefly work it's great! I'll probably have to return my camera.

I am using this now for a few days in New Zealand. The app and camera works as specified. Very quiet motor. Over some networks the video streaming can be a bit slow. Otherwise good. The setup is slightly tricky, hence I suspect the others are having trouble. The notification alarm in the phone has stopped working. so if there is an Alarm, no notification sent to phone. Please fix this urgently!

This app use to not have ads and now it does. I use this camera to view my downstairs in case of an intruder. It now takes even longer to view my camera feed in case of an emergency! I am VERY disappointed, I've had this for over 3 years and now all of a sudden the app decides that ads are a great idea. I will be looking for other systems!

The app worked about 18 hours. have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times, still doesn't work. Took forever to get the camera set up, worked for awhile, will not play pictures or videos. The camera is useless without a working app. No user manual. No website for troubleshooting. It's absolutely useless. Wasted money on a paperweight.

Can't even use it after the update. The screen just flashes when opening. They fixed it and installed update. It now has ads. This software originally came with the camera. I shouldn't have to sit through 20-30 seconds of ads. Plus, this is a security device. Any delay in viewing the camera could be life threatening!! Shouldn't have to be forced to have a 20-30 second delay before seeing what is happening!!!
