It was horrible- the one photo I tried to enhance- an old blurry version- came out looking like a badly disfigured person with horrible teeth-nothing like me. I'm switching back to a different app. I wasn't supposed to be charged until my week trial was up but I was charged immediately and despite canceling within minutes I wasn't credited back. I'll be much more cautious of these type apps in future, as I've never had problems like this before.

I had a trial of this quite a while back that I canceled, they added new features recently and offered a 7 day trial, I agreed to the trial, not to be charged. I just wanted to test the new features. Well they immediately charged me anyway and then gave me the excuse that I only get one free trial. Edit: it doesn't matter if it was 3 days or 7, I cancelled within 5 minutes and you charged me. You're scammers and my review will let others know. Second edit: I did cancel it before the trial ended.

Really impressed with the quality, and clarity of the restored picture's! Although I was mislead about having to watch an ad everytime I have a pic. restored and then another ad in order to save it, the quality and preservation of these memories that mean so much, are well worth watching them. Pretty cool, thank yall so very much for the best restorative job Ive come across yet in an app!

Does not work on high res or oversized photos. I wanted to enhance some oops shots from my cameraphone but since they're already high resolution files this app compressed them into smaller files so the end result is actually worse. Also seems to work better with human faces...not so good with animals which is my primary photo subject. For old photos...from my childhood that have been scanned...the result is excellent....but that's not what I wanted it for. Refund requested via Google

Dont buy this app. Was trying to test it out to decide if I'd pay or not. Decided to enhance a photo through ad. AD never stops. It goes straight into other ads. It also doesn't allow you to use back keys or anything else on your phone. If you touch anything Google play comes up for whatever app it's advertising. Couldn't even get to test the feature. Don't pay for this. Problems aren't the ads. It's there is no end to the ad. How am I supposed to test if ad don't end? Generic reply is stupid

The only way I could test to see if it worked was to buy a monthly subscription. But with millions of downloads and such a high average review, I thought it was worth the risk. Then I spent 30 minutes trying to enhance a slightly blurry picture I'd just taken. Absolutely no visible change. I cropped, zoomed, and so on, and nothing. This is a scam.

I ran across this app as a advertisement and decided to try it. It wasn't till it was loaded that it gave me a yearly or weekly subscription choice. There was no free choice. I decided to try it because we had some wedding pictures that were blurry. When showing facial close ups they look good but the overall picture looks worse. When I zoom up on the overall picture the faces are not any better than the original and the background is less vibrant.

Opted for the yearly subscription and the app is not too shabby. My only gripe, that results in a 4-star rating, is that the AI/beauty enhancer adds way too much that the end result makes the person in the photo look like a totally different person, even at 1x enhancing level. I wish there was an option to either turn that part off or allow you to tone it down.

This app has way too many ads which forces you to go premium. It will let you upload a photo, but you have to watch an ad (or two) for the edit, and then to save the edited photo you have to do an ad again. I'm giving it 2 stars because the 2 options it does have on the free option seems to work slightly but I expected more from an "AI" app. I am not going to use an app that basically forces you to pay for premium. Uninstalling.

Made the mistake of paying for a year. The cartoon feature was a waste. If you have a slightly blurry face in an image, it will clear it up fairly well. Makes little difference for background or much of anything else. Had some old vehicle images from way back, and it did ok on those. Anything blurry and older makes faces very distorted in a feeble attempt to replicate what should be there. This app hasn't quite made it yet. I'll eat the cost and uninstall it. Very few features too.

Well... I used the app on several pictures I had to see if the app worked as well as described. Here's what I experienced. 3× restore, clarity, scratch ECT... Is way to much. Distortion of the faces, looks horrible. Adding color to an old picture, it was more of a faded look. My old picture has more color. The beautify doesn't offer much except for enhancement. Enhancement option works well. If your big on cartooning your photos it's decent. Sorry I couldn't give a better rating.

Watching the ad is unlimited loop#!# I was happy to see the watch an ad option vs a must obtain a subscription. However after choosing to watch the ad, the ad played, but when I attempted to proceed there was NO way to close the ad. I searched the screen for an X to click I tried hitting the back key at the bottom of my phone. Anything I could think of. The stupid thing kept opening up the play store for me to download the advertised app in the ad I just watched. I could find no way to continue

Reevaluated the free ad added version... the 20-30 second ads pop up even you finish your edit, and when (before) you save your work... not bad, no pop up ads, that's a plus! ALOT of fon edits still available for free, that you can try, with a non intruding watermark added... another plus. It's much better than simular apps as it doesn't "bleach" the outcome... the cartoon one is really cool as well, alot of fun, thank you creators for responding, allowing me to re-rate this great 👍

If I want to say my opinion about the program, it is very practical and high quality! It has an attractive user interface and helps to improve the quality of photos! Naturally, the features that need to be updated! It worked great for my photos. The negative point is, in order to do it for free, you have to edit the photo of the ad before and after, which is annoying, but you can ignore it. I hope that the next versions will add more interesting and new features to it.

The app doesn't allow me to delete pictures, and it won't like with either Google photos or OneDrive, and it's only give you edit choices nothing else, very hard to use, not what I expected when I purchased it. What about my refund? I have sent several messages well within the 7 days to test the app and I still have yet to receive any response from you, and honestly this is a very limited app, and is billed as a super app, but has just the basic, I want my refund please.

Maybe a scam? To use the app, a pop up to choose a subscription came up with no choice to proceed without choosing one. I really needed the product so I chose the 1 month for 4.99. When I tried using it, the results were horrible, no improvement in the images at all. Tried to cancel subscription and cannot find the place to do so. The app directs you to do it in Google play, but I cannot find that option. Seems the only option may be to dispute with my credit card.

It does a fairly good job at enhancing images. However, it often renders faces with big eyes as if I was using the cartoon feature, which I don't use, and sometimes one of the eyes is distorted. Another common issue is elongated teeth. This appears to happen more with older low resolution printed pictures, but it's not entirely exclusive to this group of photos. The AI engine definitely needs much fine tuning to render better images.

The app requires viewing a few quick ads if you choose not to pay, particularly during the image cleaning and downloading stages. However, the process is relatively swift. While it may not provide the jaw-dropping moments of other photo apps and manages to steer clear of annoying ads, it excels in restoring genuinely degraded photos. Despite lacking overall sharpness, the eyes, ears, and mouth—especially the eyes—look remarkably realistic.

Why would you expect me to pay for an app without being able to try it first? The free version of this is trash and installs apps on my phone without permission. I'm not going to give you money to see if the paid version actually is better because it's likely trash too. Currently using picsart. Was hoping to find some new technology to play with, nope, not with UpFoto. Un-installed.

The app does enhance images with good results, however it forces you to watch FAR TOO MANY ads. I had to watch TWO ads just to select a photo to enhance, two more ads just to see the results, and two more ads just to save it. That's SIX ADS just for ONE IMAGE!? Plus, during that process I've been interrupted by FOUR "rate this ap" pop-ups!🤯 They're begging you to rate it before they even let you try the stupid thing! Yeah... I'ma pass... Let's get this nonsense add generator off my phone. 🙄
