The puzzles were interesting, ended up getting the pro version so that I didn't need to watch 30 second ads for hints. With that purchase came bonus content that I accessed at the end of the game. However I exited the game and when I entered it placed me at the end of the final puzzle...but the door was locked back up again and now I can't access the bonus content I paid for.

This game was amazing. The story was really interesting, and the puzzles were challenging without being too frustrating. The art is really good as well, I was hooked from the very beginning, and low key obsessed over it until I finished it. Really fantastic. The only small grievance I have is maybe add something more with Chris, maybe a chance to cure him? That's really the only thing though. Absolutely amazing game, 100/10 would reccomend!!

This is mostly an outstanding game. The puzzles are thought-provoking and satisfying to solve. I found the ending frustrating. Dark Dome likes to make the end of some of their games a climactic battle, but the downside is that the player has five seconds at best to play the "guess what I'm thinking" game. I like to be able to take my time on games like these, so a final battle that balances on a proverbial knifepoint and is solved by unrealistically quick thinking sours an otherwise great game.

I thought this entry in the series was great! Def on the shorter side though. I liked a lot of the mechanics and the hints were usually helpful if you get stuck. The one exception was the molecule puzzle hint, but then I realized I was waaay overthinking it and the solution was actually fairly straightforward! Sometimes you just have to experiment to find which object/ combo of items you need in a certain situation, but that happens to me in Rusty Lake games too. Keep up the good work!

A fun experience for sure, however the hints aren't very clear and left me looking for a walkthrough when I got stuck. Dialogue and writing could definitely be improved, I felt it was all a little awkward. It was enjoyable for the most part however, but definitely needs improvements for a smoother experience. Something challenging, but not so challenging the play has to look for a walkthrough to progress.

I love this game. The graphics were amazing in an artsy way. I loved all the little mini puzzles and the puzzle where you looked through lenses (trying not spoil much) was really clever. I will say how ever it is difficult to get the game started, as you're a bit stuck on what to do. However when you really start rolling, its pretty easy and fun to finish. Definitely playing more of their games.

1st few puzzles are real head scratchers to be sure, but once those fell into place the rest of the game went smoothly for a puzzle escape. While you may need a few hints at the beginning to get started, the story is what kept me wanting more and that's what I enjoy most overall. Slightly creepy atmosphere did its part to help it along too. Inventory got a bit unnecessarily cluttered at the end, but nothing to cumbersome. Overall I enjoyed myself and will definitely be trying out future games.

Like some of the other reviewers, some of the puzzles were a bit too farfetched to solve. The molecule puzzle was particularly confusing. I guess if you are able to read molecule diagrams it would've been easy but it basically gives you no real help and leaves you to blindly guess on the code for the box. I only managed to understand what to do with the seed from another review on here. Other than a few difficult puzzles at the beginning, the game was equally fun and challenging.

I passed some harsh judgement on this game at one point, but I'm happy to say I was mistaken. A tip: play the other games in the series and come back. Understanding the types of puzzles that this dev puts in their games is super important for solving; otherwise, the puzzles will feel highly illogical. Now that I've been through the whole series, I have a newfound appreciation for this game. As usual, the art was amazing, puzzles were challenging but fun, and the story was great. Amazing work.

Another great game in the series. Reminds me of the Rusty Lake games. Just not as long and involved. Good for about an hour or so in length. Ads for hints are fine, but could do without the short ones that pop up randomly during game play. You can skip them after 5 seconds though so not a big deal. Just interrupts the mood a bit. Never the less, do recommend you download the game.

I'm going to start with a criticism, there were times where the answers to the puzzles were kinda ridiculous, like there were no incentives to do some things, and I had to look them up, but I think that's just a me thing. Now the good. Yeah, this game's real good though, because while it can feel confusing, when you put the pieces together and everything clicks, it feels extremely satisfying. Also, the art style's really good. 7.8/10

This is actually a neat game that makes you think. I loved that I could watch an ad for a clue/hint. Some of the problems to solve are a little out of the box, not sure how anyone is able to figure out a couple probs without a clue.... BUT... it's nice because it was actually challenging. No intrusive ads, easy gameplay- surprisingly great game! Well done to whoever created this game all around fantastic!

Great but too short. This is the second I've played from this developer and the concepts are awesome, it takes a lot of thought to figure out how to solve the puzzles, and the animations are good. It only lasts under an hour though and it would be great if each game had chapters, or more than one storyline. I'll keep playing the short ones though.

*Spoilers* I love the art style and animation. It was a very pleasant surprise. I really appreciate the option to skip the fish puzzle. I'm god awful at those types of puzzle, and I was briefly angry when I thought I had to do it. I never would have finished the game if I couldn't skip. The gum on the string not being able to get the key out of the sink felt like a wasted opportunity and the actual solution felt kind of cheap.

Good art and controls, but quite a few of the puzzle solutions were outright strange (and therefore difficult to figure out on your own). Additionally, the timed section at the end is just horrible. Forcing you to rewatch a lenghty cutscene over and over again until you figure it out. The game is quite short and packed with ads, I would highly recommend paying the $1 for a good hour or so of uninterrupted fun. Could be really great, just has quite a few glaring flaws in the formula.

Great puzzle game, but the answers to some of the puzzles are not straightforward. I was stuck on the first puzzle for a long time, and it took me hours to make it through entirely (my compliments to anyone who gets this game done in an hour as some reviewers did). If you haven't played a Dark Dome game before, I would recommend starting with The Girl in the Window to get a feel for how their puzzles are constructed. The narrative flow of that one is a little more straightforward.

Short and pretty fun escape game. There were a couple that I couldn't figure out so I had to use a hint, really only one problem (getting the key out of the sink) stumped me because one of the steps that I have access to previous to having the items necessary was made very clear to not work, only to be part of the solution. That puzzle sucked but other than that it was good.

Great game! Good atmosphere, and I love the little mechanical touches (knowing what the player character looks like, being able to skip puzzles, sound effects of locks). The swapping perspectives part is absolutely where the game shines; that entire section is perfect. Some of the keys don't quite make sense with their locks (no way I ever would have guessed putting the seed down the sink) but overall it was a blast to play

A combination of unique puzzles (with very few mirroring commonly know puzzles). This game relies on a combination of problem solving and observation of minute details. The progression is the perfect balance between discernable and obvious. Overall, a very great game - on pare with, if not better than, the "The Room" games. IMHO, even though FTP and limited ads, it is more than worth the small price just to ensure they keep making games; this is top notch.

Very enjoyable escape room type puzzle and story. Once I started I kept playing until I had finished it. I nearly put it down after spending a lot of time stuck, but decided to try a hint, after exhausting all possible ideas. I only used one hint, and pushed on through the rest. It took me what was probably several hours to complete it. I would definitely recommend this to fans of the genre. I was not really a big fan of this type of game before; this may have changed that. Very well done! 👏
