Solid 4x strategy game, and the built-in modding support is an incredible tool that I'd have expected a paywall for in any other app. The AI is simplistic and hard to bargain with, but capable of competitive play, and the land generator has solid amounts of customization to compensate for any downsides in tile balance. I haven't tried the multiplayer, but even as a single player offline experience, this deserves five stars and any attention it can get. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

This game is one of the only strategy games other than World Conqueror 4 and 3 (also great games) and is in many ways much better. It's simple enough to pick up, not overly complicated, the AI are accurate to their difficulty, and has no ads. The game is constantly being worked and improved on. Great time waster, as well as addictive as hell!

A lovely 'mini' civilization experience, although a few things bother me. Such as the lack of an "undo button" for unit moves (problematic if you got "fat fingers" and a small touchscreen), city names blocking the view of tiles, unit moves, info, etc (would be nice if you could either adjust the size as an option or rotate the map) and cities wasting gold by automatically making units you didn't ask for by default (sometimes even when there's still improvements left to build).

This is a fantastic and faithful representation of the classic Civ formula. About everything that you might expect is in this game, aside from flashy graphics (though there is some appealing pixel art here nonetheless). This game will easily enthrall you. The only issues present are some fiddly controls, especially with the game distinguishing between move and select unit inputs. Overall, however, this is an incredible achievement made even better by being untainted by ads or microtransactions.

Love the turn-base, strategy play of the game. Can spend hours playing! Would like to see an option of auto turn so if nothing happens from one turn to the next it will keep going without needing me to tap "TURN" each time. Additional nice thing would be to assign teams or groups for assault or defend. Even a "Patrol" for units so they defend an area. Overall great game 110% for sure.

Absolutely amazing game, my favorite turn based strategy game due to its complexity and mechanics, not to mention how many civilizations there are. It would be really cool if there was a rebellion mechanic in conquered cities, or if you can regain control of lands after you are conquered through uprisings. Additionally, I feel like the game gets a bit monotonous by the Information and Future eras, so adding a setting where you can change the Era in which you can no longer progress tech-wise.

Its Civilization for your phone. This is honestly one of the coolest apps I have ever downloaded. On top of this, the game has a decent community for multiplayer, map editing with features that are even easier than the regular Civ games, and a really easy to get interface. That and the developer seems to be on the ball with updates. It would be nice if they could add a marathon length for the game as I enjoy certain era's more but all in all 10/10.

Love this game! I ended up spending the whole day when I first got it playing. At first I thought it was just "another one of those games", and either I was right and am just a sucker for them, or it is better. Either way, I spent weeks toying around with different settings and difficulties, sometimes getting myself into a fun campaign, others getting instantly whooped. Being turn based with the capacity to have many units, some games take long time, but still enjoyable! 👍✌

Civ V (vanilla) clone for the phone. I've also gotten it to work on a Kindle fire using f-droid. Graphics are simplified, but the AI works reasonably well, it has a full tech tree and unit promotion, and the game plays through to the end. No ads, popups, or in game purchases. It does have some minor flaws; the map is bordered, it tends to crash on very large maps (phone limitations), & some UI annoyances from the touchscreen, but overall this is the best Android game I've ever found. 9.8/10

You will never find a more thorough civ-builder on the playstore, and with multiple ways to win, and many in-game options, you can choose between deliberately selecting everything that happens, for a more stategic playthrough, and automating units and cities (by letting them choose their own production and working tiles) for an easy-going session. I am very glad I found this game. With all the other nation builders out there, this one was in the broomcloset, yet there is no other game like it.

I had to delete it because it was causing productivity issues at work. This is a fantastic game, I spent much of the 2010s wishing Civ5 would be ported to a mobile device, and now we finally got it! Honestly, the biggest issue with this game is that it takes place on a phone: it's so good that you're going to spend many hours craning your neck looking at a little screen, and due to the faithful recreation of civ 5, there's a ton of details to keep track of, made difficult by the small screen.

This is what mobile gaming should be. Not some platform for delivering ads and pushing micro transactions, but a game, an actual freaking game! A game that's fun and well designed, that you can play offline if you want, a game where you just hit a button and you're playing. Classic, well built, 10/10, put this on your phone.

Great rebuild of civ 5 if you can get used to "old school graphics". Loads quick and if your playing multiplayer, you get notifications when it's your turn making it easy to play on the go with friends. Only thing missing for me is playing on teams as it's not implemented yet and the Shoshone civ. Teams is the important one for me! Hope it's added soon.

This is an excellent recreation of the original, and maybe even a slight improvement in that the mobile menus are a bit more intuitive than the PC version. Simple graphics and animation, but that's a selling point for me. There's nothing getting on the way of diving right into a game. There's no microtransactions or anything like it. It's just Civ 5 in a mobile friendly experience, which is literally all I could ever want from a game like this.

The game needs balancing. The AI is very warmongery, and the only counter is to become a warmonger yourself. Also, the game heavily favors wide over tall. All my domination victories were a cakewalk. There's no way you could pull off a one city victory. I was able to win a scientific victory with 4 cities, but I needed such a massive army to defend myself that I might as well had gone for domination. It feels like every game will play the same.

Was working fine, but something after the last update (v4.10.19 or v4.10.20) I have had game crashes consistently in multiple maps, all on vanilla version. It also won't allow me to copy error reports. I was able to rollback the app with F-droid to use an older working version (v 4.10.17) without the bugs. Otherwise, the game itself is great! I love civilization!

Lovely game, great to play against bots or just a friend, games can be quite long especially with other real people. Love strategizing tile gains and buildings as well as which research tree to develop, battle system is great as well however promotions always seem short lived as units tend to be expendable. Mods are also great, especially city state rework and military additions, its nice to be able to win after a long time with a friend by dropping a nuke onto their base. Great game overall.

This game totally rocks! Free, no ads, a bit of an effort to figure out, but if it was simple you wouldn't want to play it. Play online or offline. Turn based strategy of a very complex civilization building game. Super. Kudos to all the hard work developing this. You are my hero!* (heroes* for those who helped) Keep up the good work please!

WOW I am impressed! It's like Civ V, without any fancy graphics. It's missing some features like espionage, but there are also some really nice UI features, like the promotion tree for military units. What a great idea. The default Quick Start settings were too easy, or maybe the AI isn't complete yet, but I was still entertained for a full 2h flight. I look forward to trying again on a harder difficulty. Great job, dev!

Very enjoyable game. I've been playing off and on for about a year now. Just recently started playing with modes for different civilizations and found the undead as the best that I recommend trying out. Really can't complain. It gives the players complete control on how fast you want the game to be and how large the map is and whatever play style you decide to do.
