Many great things about game but too many negatives to give more than 3 stars. Starting with extremely unrealistic stats for the seasons and the fact that it allows only 3 starting pitchers and really no need for relief pitchers. Also almost impossible to keep back balance above zero for operating costs without having to make purchases

One of the most unbalanced games ever. You see teams winning 130 games and losing 30. You see the opposite, teams winning only 30 games and losing 130 (when the player starts out) and you lose 30 favor with the owner when this happens for a "disgraceful season". Only way to get better players is to be able to pay for them via money as there's (rightfully, and similar to the MLB) no cap, so as long as you inject cash into your team, you can get all the top players and win. Don't play this game.

A couple things that are either bugs or possibly just slightly different from other sports sims they do. Like stats not updating well especially due to trade, no draft pick trading, and not being able to change salary cap after buying premium. Other than that it's similarly fun compared to the other Sims. Hope they can fix bugs cause the game would be 5 star.

I was looking for an OOTP knockoff to pass time on my phone. I never buy premium for any phone game so my expectations are pretty low as I'm sure building a realistic baseball GM sim game is not really meant to be a F2P mobile game. It's very difficult so far 1 week in. Started 4 or 5 different teams as I learn different strategies. So far have only been able to win 70 games once out of maybe 10 seasons. I'm still learning. Kinda overwhelming in the amount of things to do/learn. Still decent!

Bought this hoping it would be as good as football manager and it is with one major problem. Never finding a positive balance at the end of the season. Having sunk real dollars to balance out, it is never enough. After several seasons and finally being locked out from buying anything, I'm tossing in the towel. The game and newer UI is great, but there definitely feels like a larger paywall has been put up, which is really disappointing

Excellent and deep game, financial engine is too hard tuned to get you to buy more cash sadly, but ultra-conservative financial play can make it a fun challenge. One massive flaw I see is that top end AI teams have player payrolls 1.5x over the luxury tax allowing them to have unreasonably good teams, further exacerbating the microtransaction issue. Still an excellent game nonetheless and worth the time you'll put in.

Love the game so far, although, 1 small suggestion. I've played the football gm game and the owner usually loses contentness with you if you lose, and the same goes for this, except, there are WAY more baseball games than football so having him lose 1% every loss can make the early game extremely challenging. Perhaps having him lose 1% every series loss would balance it. Other than that, love it.

Another good one from these guys, and they keep the upgrade at an affordable price. Microtransactions have minimal impact on experience, but they're there if you want to speed things along. Honestly, these guys have a great framework for these games, and I hope they keep using it to branch into more sports. To Devs: Hockey next

Looking for redeeming codes. LOCKEDON is one. Need more. Games decent and addicting. Make sure you pick up international signing 5 stars for 7 seasons for cheap to make sure you can flip them or build them. The financial strain is real in this one, no way to build my team facilities unless i go into a rebuilding mode and take 8 years to get back to at least get to competitive. I think incentives should be raised a little or even a way to adjust budgets if you buy premium, luxury tax isnt eno

So close to being a good game. While they say you can win without paying money... you can't. Even after spending money you will be back in the red after one season. Don't bother predicting you'll make the playoffs, in my last Sim all but one playoff team had more than 104 wins. When 99% of the players block you out each off season and your draft picks won't develop because you don't have money to upgrade your facilities, it makes for a real bummer of a game.

Good game with a few bugs. I play the football version alot and, so far, that one is much better. My major issue with the game is a see no way, unless I am missing it, to ever trade draft picks. My only options for trades are players and/or cash. Where is the option to include draft picks in trades? Second, like others, I'd like to see the AI controlled teams makes trade offers. Baseball is the single sport where trades have the greatest impact on the season. Make trades more important!

This game is a total pay to win. I played there football version when it came out and you could win without spending money, and while the buys are relatively inexpensive. You won't win without putting money into it,and yes they gave you more ways to get training points but the cost to use them soared .and I should know since I'm a CPA and could not be a successful franchise without spending money. Will be uninstalling

This series has become a cash grab. Artificial difficulty relative to basketball and football. Moreover there is a game-breaking bug. If you need to sign more than one player per position, the owner will attempt to sign the same player repeatedly when your balance is negative. You cannot progress and the save is lost. Very frustrating since this is actually the best strategy to succeed by year 5 unless you pay to win. Skip this one, only the basketball and football editions are worth playing.

This is by far their best sports GM app. Very realistic to MLB baseball (they've ruined basketball with too many schemes). However, the app eventually gets corrupted and starts breaking when you try to make trades. Then you have to uninstall and reinstall app and you lose everythinh. If they cleaned it up, I would give it 5 star rating.

While addicting, it is virtually impossible to succeed in this game unless you buy the micro transactions, so while yes, you can play for free. You can't win and it loses it's appeal very quickly as a result. I'd rather just spend the money one time upfront and get a fully functional game than be micro'd to death. MLB the show it will be for me. Disappointing since I have always enjoyed the GM aspect of sports games and was hoping this would scratch that itch, but it's just not fun anymore.

This game is a fun time killer, and I like some aspects of it. But you'll go into the red every other season if you aren't winning the championship or predicting your season results exactly each season. And good luck keeping high profile players without buying more cash to keep them. I would like the option to manually substitute players during critical games as well. Definitely needs improvement.

It's a really great laid out game. Don't get frustrated and shoot for the top, it's going to take time wince you are starting at the bottom of the barrel (unless you spend money).I'm in my 20th season and have been slowly growing. It keeps it simple, but it can get really deep as you go forward and build up. I've enjoyed this game immensely!

It's enjoyable. It's not hugely in depth, but since it's baseball, there's a lot more to do than there would be from a basketball sim. I like that it's ten rounds for drafts, and a skeleton level minor league for development. It's addictive, challenging on low levels, and cheap to purchase. I've brought all three of this company's sports sims because of the consistent quality and low prices. Even if you only play it two months you won't regret spending $4-$5 on something like this.

Much harder than the Football and Basketball version. Impossible to compete with top teams who always seem to have amazing development, unlimited resources and 3 or 4 core guys at 105+. Major imbalances in the system, a few teams win 130 games a year and 9 or 10 lose 100+ games. Unrealistic. It's next to impossible to stay out of minus, I assume on purpose so you'll buy resources. Also, the game engine seems to thwart you if you get too good. Kinda lame. Could have been great.

Needs a lot of work. You can have better staff in every spot, better players in every position, outrank the other team by over 10 points, use the motivation and still lose 4 out of 7 games. Payouts for seasons on arent enough and you are always too broke and have no training points. Mostly just waste of time and you have to start over.
