Just got the app and I like it because of the tabs but it is hard to try and find the right strumming to fit the song. In my opinion I feel like there should be a list of recommended strumming patterns for each song so you have something to kind of go off. I also think it would be nice to have some links to videos or something so you can hear the song and learn that way.

The variety of tabs and the songbook feature are great and I find the app very convenient. However, there seems to be no way to permanently remove ads. You can watch videos to go ad-free for a period of time, but I would much appreciate the ability to make a one-off payment to remove ads like in many other apps. I'd happily send a few dollars to support the developer in exchange for a 'premium' experience that gets rid of those annoying pop-ups.

The main reason I used this app was because of the "random" function and because you could view saves tabs offline. While the recent update made it possible to carry saved tabs over to other devices, connecting your library with your username, tidied up the interface and made it more aesthetically pleasing, you must now be online in order to view tabs. This majorly detracted from my user experience.

Does the job, and bridging my browser use and mobile use of the website is great. However it was disappointing to see that the ad free option was a yearly subscription and not a one time thing. And yes, yes.. I'm aware that I can watch videos (ads) to get "free" coins to get rid of further ads... But that's not what I'm after. Just let me pay you a reasonable amount once and be done.

Debilitating ads with sound are really intrusive for an app used to perform and practice with. The auto-scroll in landscape is also broken since if it gets ahead of you and you need to pull down to catch up, then it stops the auto scroll. The bar on the top and bottom when in horizontal mode is also much too large, which is particularly frustrating when most tabs need to be viewed in horizontal view to line up correctly.

NEEDS AN UPDATE I've had the app for years and it's always the same old tabs despite all the new music coming out. I also wish that when you hit "search", it would bring the keyboard up automatically (right now you have to press on the search field to start typing even after you have selected 'search' and that is the only field on the following page). Otherwise, I enjoy the app and the transposition option.

It's not the best it's better if your novice or expert. Also to all the users if your going to help other people to learn a song, please make sure that there is "how to strum" and also lyrics to go with the uke tabs, cause other wise people will get confused especially for beginners. (The app is no good for beginners, only for people who know the songs. If there is a copyright problem about strumming then it is no good. I picked up a bunch of tunes in just 2 months on YouTube)get it??

So many ads. Hate the latest update. It used to be a wonderful app, but now is a stream of ads on every page and in between windows, and I'm probably going uninstall it. It's horrible. Which is heartbreaking because they have so many songs, but I can't take it anymore. If they want money they should just offer to pay a bit for the app sans ads, but no, your option to ''get rid of them'' is to just watch them all at once. No thank you, I do not want your ads shoved down my throat. In addition it now is super buggy. Very unhappy. So lame.

I love this app, and wish I can give it a better rating. However, since its update a few months back, the songbook stopped working. This is a nice perk of the app that I use a lot, to keep track of the songs I want to learn. I have been using the mobile site to access the songbook. Minor inconvenience, but it'd be nice to have it fixed.

Clean, search isn't buggy, when I scroll down it actually moves. They best part though is the button that shows similar artists. When I want to play on my ukulele, I don't necessarily know what I want to play, and this button makes me think of songs I do. It's such a simple idea but I really like it. Also I enjoy the artists being sorted into approximate genres. Anything to make ukulele playing as pain free as possible.

I found it very easy to navigate this site and find songs that I wanted to play. the app even has a way to show you new songs and a refresh button to go with it. there are ads everywhere yes BUT they are not in the middle of the chord screen thingy or blocking out anything so I wouldnt pay them much mind. this is a free app, they need money to give us ways to impress our friends :)

I don't EVER review apps. But this app is REALLY good. It also has auto scroll so you don't have to worry about your phone screen turning on or off, and you can adjust it to the speed of your liking, it's really nice.. definitely recommend. I like Cavetowns music a lot, and his older music chords are on here, and those are REALLY hard to find.. just overall a really good app. OTHER than the fact that it doesn't save your tabs when you hit save tabs. Which is kind of annoying, but it's a good app

It has a lot of songs, but if you (like me) can have a more obscure taste, it won't always have those. The auto scroll and the chords at the top make it super easy to find a song and play it without difficulty. As for a strumming pattern, I can usually just figure it out if it's a song I know. My one complaint, which other reviews mention, is being stopped by ads when I'm looking for a quality tab and have to click through multiple to find one I like, and there aren't always reliable ratings.

Been using the site for years, and the app is finally coming into its own. A smooth, clean interface with loads of useful tools, unobtrusive ads, and a great community resource for new players and the like - but primarily, it connects me with a huge library of quality uke tabs for all skill levels, and does so painlessly with tools like transposing, editing, and autoscrolling. Previous versions would have scored 3 stars or so for mediocrity, but the current version is excellent.

This app worked okay at best when I first downloaded it. It helped me learn to play ukulele with a degree of comfort I wasn't able to find on guitar specific sites. However, the songs are limited and the UI is confusing. I took a several month break from playing and now I can only look up one song without the app freezing on a loading screen. I have to fully restart the app to look up more than one song. I even logged in and out and uninstalled and re-installed the app with no improvement.

I love the app, people who give it bad reviews are nitpicking. The ads don't ever get in my way, the UI is free the school is nice (although maybe we could add a recommended bpm for scrolling? Finding the right speed is a tiny bit difficult) I can save the tabs I want to see them offline and there's a good mix for beginner to strong intermediate.

Great app! It actually exceeded my expectations. I especially like the strumming pattern section. A great place to learn new patterns and learn how to read them. You can hear audio samples too, in perfect clarity. Large song selection. Auto-scroll feature is nice once you figure the best speed. Hope it holds up, but great so far.

I have used this app weekly since 2020. The app has a great amount of variety, considering it relies on user generated tabs, the quality is good too. However! This app is poorly optimized for mobile use. MAJORITY of chords will not wrap with lyrics on a phone screen, making following along and playing difficult. MANY tabs are unreadable on a phone screen in this app version. I am not convince this is the fault of the tab/chord creators, based on the prevalence of these issues.

Very useful tool for uke players. Chords seem to be submitted by users mostly which means they are not all great but, usually there are several to choose from. Improvements that would be nice: 1. I would pay for this in order to not have ads and save tabs to my device. Doesn't seem to be an option though. 2. Be nice to report or submit tabs that are really bad and useless to reduce the clutter in search results. 3. Love for it to predict my searches as i type and/or save search history!

The app itself is great. Good design, easy to save tabs for going back to them later. As for the actual tabs, it doesn't have everything I've looked up, but what it does have has been pretty good. Of course, the app doesn't create the tabs, it created the infrastructure for the tabs to be found and organized but like any tab site/app, the actual tabs are written by individuals and submitted.
