Recently noticed that I've been double charged for orders. One charge is supposed to be a pre-authorization, but it takes 2 weeks to get it back, if at all. A pre-auth shouldn't cost the same as the entire order. Worse is the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Items were missing from my last order. I was told by a bot to send a pic of the receipt and the order, 8 hrs after I contacted them. Sent the receipt pic and was told my order was ineligible for a refund even though I didn't get half of my order.

Be cautious ordering from this app. Part of their user agreement says they have the right to remove a promo from an account without warning, including after checking out. I've been running circles with support this two weeks to clear this up as I had offered to pay for the meal for another account, yet neither the account holder nor I have had any success recovering the unexpected lost payment. If the promo does go through, the experience is good. But this damaged my trust with the app.

When the app works its great but there's problems far too often. I've had drivers sit in place for half an hour before cancelling the delivery so I could get a different driver. Additionally their program to share the driver with another delivery again sounds good on the surface. However in practice it results in me getting cold food 90% of the time.

They have some of the best discounts more delivery apps. But trying to resolve an issue takes forever and too much effort. I had an issue where the driver took my food to the wrong address saying it was in the app. I've been at this same address for year never changed it. But it's taking longer than 1.5 hrs to rectify the issue and I missed my lunch. And I'm out of money until it's taken care of.

The fees are very hidden, and when you try to filter anything, it doesn't apply the filter, so you're stuck searching through all of the options rather than the ones you wish to look at. It also still has some issues with how delivery works, especially for those who live in an apartment. Many drivers will still ask you your number and building even when you have it specified.

Very bad UI. I ordered food for a location I selected, and it was assigned to other place. I only realized after place the order. Now, the nightmare was to find the way to cancel. It took some time, and only after check on "Need Help" link, I found the "cancel" link. But at that point, the order was already in progress, and I was charged, even cancelling.

Very excited about the convenience. I'm disabled and this is helpful, but I had a 25 dollar off coupon which was supposed to be good all day, but it disappeared when I went to make my order! I don't like dishonest coupons or advertising. I am disabled as I said and it's a treat when I get anything special cause I'm very very limited in funds. It's not cool to cut coupons early or just randomly take them away. I will repost if anyone makes it right.

DEFINITIVELY needs work. Tried a few deliveries, app function isn't intuitive. When you are first offered an order, you are just given the info for pick-up, nothing about destination. Now you need to wait to see if their directions will be correct. Too many times are you given no information on large apartment complexes with NO apartment numbers or bldg numbers in the description; you most nearly ALWAYS call to get correct location.

Horrible Customer Service. There was a major error with my order, I spent over an hour talking to 5 different customer service agents... Who did not process my refund correctly, and refused to cancel my Uber One subscription, had to go to work hungry. If you are looking for convenience, accuracy, and good customer service, I would not recommend this app. If you want to be hassled by customer service agents, not eat, and be charged for food you didn't receive, then this is the app for you!

The app is inconsistent for Uber eats with when it allows you to change tips and when it randomly just won't give you the option to modify after delivery even when you left a tip and they claim you can modify if a tip is left. This screws over the drivers since I'm unable to tip higher when they do a good job and I want to tip more.

In my opinion and in others, this is a horrible app. The subscription helps very little with delivery fees. UEs does not show you the service fees until after you order, and it's usually a hefty service fee. You can't cancel your order because then they hit you with a hefty cancelation fee. The ironic part is that they seem to be the best of all the delivery apps.

Awful support, won't let me change tip, can't talk to an actual person no matter what prompt I select, the list goes on. Also just another company who won't get rid of these horrible drivers who just steal your food. Whenever I have a bad experience, I don't want to tip the driver, so I want the full refund. Not just the amount for the food, but the tip as well...

I used to like this app but ever since I've been needing to budget more lately, the fees have been looking outrageous. The food I'm buying can be less than $10 and the taxes and fees hike the price up to nearly $30. The taxes and fees alone can be more expensive than the food itself. Fine motivator to just cook for myself exclusively and not pay Uber a dime. I didn't have this extra service fee until I moved into a major city. That's a rip off.

App is total garbage. There's too much security, so never change your debit card or phone number, And if you do make sure you've got the security codes for every card you've had memorized because they will lock you out of your own account with no alternative ways to login without information you no longer have access to. Like, just add a "I don't have that debit card anymore" button and let me verify another way. Also they give promotions but when you get to checkout they're not available.

It's convenient and works, had a good experience with support when ive had issues with an order. However it's not transparent with prices, lots of fees, and it's hard to see the real total before ordering. I also noticed that I was being charged for UberOne when I never intentionally signed up. I probably clicked a popup or checkbox by mistake while placing an order, and if it's that easy to do accidentally it's predatory. Put a bad taste in my mouth so I removed payment methods and deleted.

Terrible!!! This app is not user friendly or "smart" at all. I from Cleveland but was in Columbus at the time I placed my order. Rather than pick up on my current address, they sent the food to the stored Cleveland address. Cancelling the order could've done because they intentionally hide that option from you and I'm still looking for how I can change my address.

My issue is mostly with the drivers I've had. But my current experience with the app itself that's leading to this review is that a driver accepted the order. Got to the location, took himself off the order. So now my wait has restarted. And I wanted to just cancel the order because now I don't have time, but because that guy (that I've had issues with in the past) accepted it originally, I now can't cancel my order. I should be able to cancel the order if it says there's no driver assigned.

Never order groceries from Uber eats. If items are missing/incorrectly marked by delivery person, then help agent will keep saying that the receipt is still being uploaded to cloud and will be able to help after the receipt is uploaded. If you contact after 48 hours, then they say it is too late. Have to keep tracking the charges on credit card as I have instances of incorrect amount charged. Too much hassle. Easier to just go in person or (worst case) use a different app.

Usually this app is pretty good. However don't cancel an order even though it's less than 5 min since placing the order as they will charge you almost the full amount to cancel it. I tried to change the address after placing an order, and they couldn't deliver from the store the app chose because it was too far from my address and they didnt give an option to change stores either. They charged me $27.75 for canceling the order. The support team also said no refunds. Pretty pissed.

out of several delivery apps, this one in particular has done the best for me in terms of sheer UI experience. I have no problem finding what I want and it actively shows 'local' business in a 'local legends' tab of the app. This is something I love as both a consumer and a producer, because it helps smaller businesses to keep up with the times as well as promoting their products.
