This is the worst app, and Uber support has no idea how to resolve it. The app forces your phone to overheat, and then the app freezes, and you will only get paid partially for the trip. I even changed my phone to see if that was a problem. The app tells us to run a test on battery optimization, but it does not help finish the test because it gets stuck on the test. Uber says it is a technology company, but could not resolve this problem for over 6 months.

I don't know who writes the part for parameters on Destination Filters, but 15 minutes in the opposite direction isn't Towards Destination. Its an epic failure within the app and happens constantly. Maybe 10% of the time it actually gives a pickup and drop off anywhere near the route set. Making drivers turn around, switch freeways, etc isn't how Destination Filter is supposed to work. Please fix ASAP. You're wasting our filters and we only get to use it 2x a day.

This app works well when it works correctly. But it has one major issue: Sometimes a delivery shows up on the screen and doesn't disappear no matter what you do, locking up the ENTIRE PHONE! The only way to fix this is to restart the entire phone. This can waste a minute or more and I've had to deal with this DURING deliveries on multiple occasions. Please fix this major issue!

I didn't realize the customer can change.the tip up to one hour after food delivery. This feature seems misleading as I accept orders based on pay and if a customer can later adjust/remove tip then I'm not really working for the rate that pops up on the screen. I suggest you use other delivery/driver apps and only use this to supplement your time.

This is a crappily designed app, designed to screw the driver at every turn. I end up paying more in tolls and gas than I earn. You can't even tell if there are tolls on the "trip" you're being offered, in the few seconds they give you to decide. It's also telling that they bombard you with new trips in the last quarter of a mile of your delivery...you can't see house numbers or other important info b3cause your screen is being filled with new trips while you're still driving.

This would be a decent app if it were set up more like Doordash is. The map automatically closes when it thinks I've arrived, and that is not only annoying but also not always accurate on the address. I could still be a few houses away and so then, I get the joy of trying to get the map back up and running, which is also a time-consuming process while the customer's food is getting cold and I'm distracted while coasting down the road. I like everything to make sense. This doesn't.

Update: I'm now having issues with orders I've accepted disappearing from my screen. Navigation needs serious work. I'm being directed to incorrect drop-off locations. I'm being told to proceed when I should be turning in to park, so I then have to re-route. I'm losing tips and valuable time because of errors caused by this app. The app also glitches constantly, causing me to cancel deliveries. Yesterday, I even had a difficult time canceling. These issues need to be fixed immediately.

Uber doesn't care about drivers. They have now started punishing drivers for not accepting trips they don't want to or cannot complete for any reason. If they cared, they would also allow drivers to use more than 2 set destinations to avoid scheduling conflicts and a poor experience for passengers. The app has constant updates and they reset your preferred sound and map settings every time. It's obnoxious. Uber is a bad company.

Been driving for years and the overall experience has declined drastically. Waiting HOURS to recieve deliveries and only recieving long distance cross country deliveries which result in cold food. The app has no consideration for people who may need to cherry pick deliveries to stay within a close radius because of car problems. Definitely switching to door dash now after about 3 years of driving loyally for uber eats.

This new uber driver app update has caused me to almost get into accidents multiple times. If you're in the middle of navigating to a destination and you reject 3-4 offers, it will quit you out of navigation and force you offline. You can't mess with naivigation while someone's driving. That's just logical. Navigation is also disrupted during a passenger ride when new offers pop up. I've missed several crucial turns because of this. Stop messing with navigation while someone is driving!!!!

Uber driver has limited device support. It can't work with my Huawei. So, I can't use a dedicated device specifically for Uber. Very inconvenient. Also, destination mode often sends me in the opposite direction, which makes the function useless and brings my score down since I have to reject such requests. And also this frenzy with choosing the vehicle to drive and taking pictures of myself multiple times a day. Why?!

Uber shop and pay is wierd. I'm getting $2 for the delivery and then I'm expected to pay for the order then be reimbursed 2 days later! No thank you. I do uber for immediate money and then they are forcing is to use the Uber Card to Cash out instead of sending it to my bank account and you have to pay $2.99 They are already taking advantage with the low pay but now they charge more. I'm thinking about stopping using the app all together. I can make more money on Door Dash and Instacart.

So recently, there was a new app release that supposedly includes maps with radar requests. Since then, my radar trips have doubled with zero maps available. This is how Uber reverts back to not providing your destination on a map. What really irks me is that every single time I open the app, it asks me if I want to change the settings. Is this absolutely necessary? Can't I just use the settings that I prefer without the daily inquisition? The programmers never actually used the app, apparently.

You need to do something with the navigation system. Entirely too much talking involved. For instance, any licensed driver knows that when you are about to turn left or right you are going to get in the correct lane to make such turn. I do not need to hear, USING THE LEFT LANE,MAKE A LEFT TURN. Too many other issues to address here. But when you have a rider talking to you and the app giving you unnecessary instructions, AND trying to watch the roads, excessive directions become annoying

I like the driver app, however, the distance your expected to go, such as 9.2 miles for $3 isn't cutting it. Should be a mandatory $5 added if ordering from one side of town to be delivered to the opposite side of town. Not to mention, those who order from Uber, and tip can and do take back their tips. once tipped, a customer shouldn't be able to take it back.

3 major app issues. 1. There's a very common glitch where you'll get a request when someone else already picked up the order, which wastes time and gas. 2. You'll get to a store just to find out that the store is closed (Uber needs better communication with store times, because this is another common issue.) 3. The map needs to be able to tell which direction you're heading, you'll be facing the wrong direction on the map screwing up where you're driving to. These happen a lot. Doordash doesnt.

Not safe while driving. Always shows new orders/requests when you driving with one and map with GPS is unavailable in this moment. Usually it happens in the end of trip and you need to turn right/left and you need watching map and see new order instead of map. Ofcourse you may choose "stop new requests" but is not the solution of the problem.

I do like using the app to make extra money. But like everyone is saying, it's annoying that while I'm driving, a new request comes in, and I can't pay too much attention because AGAIN I am driving. I know I can stop new requests, but it's annoying to do for every ride. And if I can't look at my phone for the new request, my acceptance rate drops. It would be nice to see who is rating us. The rating to show up in the trip summary. And to be able to change riders rating.

Could use a training video for new drivers. Also, the the GPS is a little delayed. My location is not exact. I miss turns occasionally because of it. Also, the new feature to report Closures is a nice idea, but it doesn't impact the Navigation. It's pretty annoying. I like keeping the Navigation in the app and not using Google, but it needs refinement. Other than that, the app is pretty nice. The layout is very nice and clean.

The two options for "max volume" or "control with phone" aren't that great if you like to listen to music, I have the app already open and it just continues to chime and chime, like I get it there is an offer and I am looking at it, it doesn't need to continue to make noise, no other app does that, so it's super frustrating. I understand if it were in the background to keep making sounds till it was open, but then it should STOP, like other apps do. I am a new user and this is already obnoxious.
