Complete screw up during last update. CAN'T record local channels, DIFFICULT to find channels, ERASED memory of favorites and saved channels. Gets stuck on the loading screen 50% of time. Many times the Firstick version doesnt load channels. Only gives about 20% of your subscribed channels. Hope u-verse updates the app more often for faster processing. Hope it allows more access to channels when outside the house.

This is not the Uverse app. It comes up as Direct TV, AT&T needs to fix it back to the Uverse app. That includes all the channels I am paying for. Spent quite awhile on phone with AT&T for them to have to act like they don't even know what is going on. Found several other people complaining about the same issue. AT&T said they would get back to me within 4 days! REALLY!!!

👎 AT&T you destroyed the app, WHY? There is no way to cancel a scheduled DVR recording. I can edit or cancel an entire series but not a single episode. Then if I want to delete 1 episode of something that recorded I can't do that either, it allows me to delete the entire series of recordings but nothing individually. Why ruin this app? Not everyone wants streaming and you take away the little functionality this app was good for. 🤷‍♂️ 👎👎👎👎

Slow to load, crashes and always buffering (every half second), even when using home wi-fi network. *Two years later and still the same issues. U-verse is as unreliable via app as it is in home.* Also need to add that although this app is installed on two other devices, it will no longer allow me to use the app on those devices. If I pay for it, I should be able to use this app on as many or as few devices I may choose. Since 11/05/21 and 1/15/24, I haven't been able to sign in. (Error 205.4).

Horrible changes! No more channel listed in HD first. Missing channel 1209. Huge thumbnails take up screen space and so many it is unappealing, cluttered. Scheduled recordings only show thumbnail so you have to click it to see info such as time and dates. On Now is odd; first few out of order but only way to see all is to slide far right (15 thumbnails) then choose the + menu. The old version was so much better. ATT, why fix something that wasn't broken?

This new update no longer shows ANY of the basic local channels in the HD category anymore. No NBC, ABC, CBS, etc. Also no longer displays if shows are new or repeats, which is basically a requirement. The text has become so tiny, it's almost unreadable. This app was extremely useful, now it's completely broken PLEASE FIX IT NOW!!!

They taken away all the channel. I can view 27 channel out of 400. And can not watch any of them. You were able to view 3-1000. Now you can't. The home page is wants trending. I would watch Hallmark channel or discovery channel while I'm at work. It doesn't even give me the option to record or watch. It doesn't even show up on the channel line up to select.

Horrible. This new update only gives me a few channels to watch live tv. I used to be able to watch ALL subscribed channels before this was updated. Now most channels on the app that I am subscribed to are not able to be watched live. What's the point in the app if only a few randomly selected channels on the app are available? Can someone explain this to me? I don't know what ATT thought by taking out channels as part of their updated app.

Good when it works, but I'm getting the blue spinner more and more, to open (while it's "authenticating") and once opened. Won't open for me this morning. I have high speed internet. Frustrating! AT&T needs to fix something!! The new version (March 9, 2024) is worse. In particular, it doesn't show one of my key channels (1768, NBC Sports California).

Worst update/upgrade in the history of apps. One star is a lie but minus 5 stars wasn't available. EVERYTHING WRONG with. Doesn't show recordings (recorded or scheduled )in any order (not by date nor by alphabet), shows channels I don't watch and doesn't show me my available channels to select as favorites and I could go on but probably a waste of time. GIVE THE OPTION TO GET THE OLD APP BACK. Seriously considering changing and I have been with AT&T (Bellsouth) since 1975. I'm just furious.

This app has gone from bad to worse. Try to schedule a recording & it tells you to go to the guide. I go to the guide and have only HD channels marked and it shows me only favorites (3). All my favorite channels are gone and I have to start over again. The whole app is a big mess. We have the U300 package and only 164 channels are showing.

What the hell is ATT's problem? First, you take an app and make it unusable. Took you 3 MONTHS to fix it. Now you turned it into something fancy but worth nothing, making it unusable again. No guide so unable to schedule to record a program from the app. The favorite channels that I have on my TV do not show on this app. I HOPE YOU ARE PROUD OF YOURSELF. Uninstalling!

Hate the new app. New "improved" app is not as user-friendly as the previous app. Harder to look through recorded and to be recorded shows list (not a list anymore, just icons for the shows). Search feature doesn't find some shows that are definitely available on uverse. Preferred the previous app way more than this pitiful update.

On the old app, the guide had the same channels as my guide on my television. The new app guide is missing all the local channels and my NBA LEAGUE PASS channels. Thus, I am unable to schedule those channels to record remotely. It was one of the only things about the old app that I really used alot, wasn't broken; didn't need to be fixed.

This version U-verse app is buggy. Favorite channels do not include local stations. On opening it ignores my settings, not displaying HD channels for example. Stations with new programs are not flagged as new. Stations set to record are not flagged in the live tab. I have to use the TVGuide app to see what is new, then Uverse app to set up recordings.

New version is useless for managing recording. Only a small subset of channels are available to set for recording due to the use of the "live" TV guide instead of the comprehensive TV guide of all channels available to the DVR. So if you are out of the house you can only record the channels available to stream on your device. Just one more reason to either cut the cord or switch to Xfinity.

If it were possible to rate lower I would. The latest update once again makes using the app to set programs worthless. INCOMPLETE listing of channels, oddly they are the major networks. Won't show up in guide or any where in app. I guess ATT is like others, if not broke, break it. Would be great if the fired the previous version back, it worked

Several months ago, I opened my the app to use it to set to record a TV show so I could view it later. I wasn't at home, and the Uverse app has this handy feature. However, the app had been updated, and I was instructed to update the app before I could proceed with setting up the recording. The updated app does NOT work for this task. That was several months ago, and I reported the problem. I attempted to use the app today to do the same task. It still doesn't work.

Edit.. I found a way to see the locals in the guide. You have to go to the filter symbol and then clear all. However, you have to do it every time you open the app. It won't save. ... New App guide no longer shows local channels so I can't set DVR from it like before. Also DVR recordings are not listed in date order for recorded or scheduled shows. It's basically useless.

Finally figured it out. If you go to guide and click off the Live button at the top it will show all of the channels with locals. I guess the live only shows the channels accessible on the app to watch on your phone if you click the program and hit watch live. Seems most of the locals aren't accessible to watch live. But it always shows the Live by default when you enter the app. You just have to click off it every time. Still a little dumb but I'll give 3 stars at least.
