excellent app for blocking apps on TV. yes, you do have to pay for it, but the time gained in productivity is well worth it

Doesn't always work, but frequent updates seemingly made this more stable. Works better than Google's own Family Link app on my daughter's tablet.

The code to link my mobile app with TV app did not arrive even after trying multiple times. Eventually after the trial of 3 days I was charged the subscription money as well which I disputed from Google as the App did not work as intended.

this is my first day with the app and I'm unable to sign-up for remote app, register button says that you'll receive an email shortly, but after two hours there is no email yet. what is this service? why is the sign-up process is so much user-enemy?

Despite the limits set on the apps the kids are still able to use anytime and with no limits. Also, although I purchased the app for the lifetime, every time I turn the TV on it does not work unless you enter the app and press "Try the app for free" on the top left corner of the screen

The app seems to work except for one "small" problem: you have to open the app every time you turn your TV on so it's basically useless. There are instructions to set it as the launcher app on the app's website but it requires fluency in Android development. I've been trying to figure it out for 2 hours with no luck. Codeseed, if you can provide a step-by-step tutorial on how to set it up as the launcher (how the heck do I run an ADB command on Windows?) for simple folk, you'll get good review.

It works and the support works both great. Just keep in mind that you have to give give the TV app all permissions it needs and that the app is still in very active development and sometimes you have to clear cache / reinstall it when you cannot log in or find yourself logged out. If kept up to date with correct permissions, its impossible to bypass.

Good app ruined by the very devs who developed it. No way to retrieve the pin if forgotten. Can't sign in with the my google account either, it says ID could not be found and yet the subscription appears active on the same google account. What kind of utter nonsense is this!!

Paid the premium subscription fee,but I did not have the features unlocked. This app should be flagged off from playstore.

UPDATE: The in-app purchase did not work for me. It kept telling me to "Add payment method", even though I already did that. The only options were: "It's done" (which didn't work) and "Cancel". UPDATE: My card expired on my other account that caused the block. I had to update/remove the expired card before the new card worked on my TV account.

I found this the app as a potential alternative for the unstable built-in scree time management of Google TV for kids. Started promising, tried to set it up for a Kids Profile (as described on the app site), but even after completing every step that part is not working. I have sent an email to the support but no reaction... so if devs you see this maybe act on support requests?

Excellent app when it works! However, sometimes it allows locked apps to open without restriction. I can usually fix this by unplugging my TV and plugging it back in, or sometimes a soft restart does the trick. Let me know if I can send log files or any other details to help you identify and fix these bugs.
