Doesn't save our booking so we have to enter our details every time. The seat selection stopped working half way through and separated us, and now says to try again later. Same message when we try to select dietary requirements.

Nightmare to check in. Resets information when trying to select a reward programme. Doesn't let you move on until you select a reward programme. Doesn't remember the reward programme selected. Worst airline app out there.

Full of bugs for the app. Avoid this airline, massive delays, no one takes responsibility for any system error. Tired looking old planes, overpriced tickets. Take any other airline than Turkish.

Cannot get push notifications. Won't let me save my miles on booking. My flights aren't showing either. I have to manually update every time I log in

If I could give no stars I would, absolutely embarrassing app, added flights on months ago and now disappeared off screen, cba to go into the rest of the problems because I'd be here all day, it's ******* annoying and turkish airlines are a joke and should be liquidised simple as that!

There could be a bit more fanfare/excitement in the home screen about an upcoming flight and destination (KLM is amazing with their app UI in this way). Turkish Airlines' app works and it works well, but thatsball it does. There's nothing interesting or exciting about using it.

Wrong or unnecessary information given. 1) I have 3 flights booked, but the app shows 7. 2) I had changed my flight some weeks ago. Today when I am waiting for the flight (with boarding pass issued), the app shows that the flight took off 2 days ago (i.e. my previous booking before change) and landed. 3) it gives notifications like my flight has taken off and landed, etc. Why should I receive such notifications if I am already on the plane? 4) invoices only show ticket fees only but not seat fee

The worst airline app I have ever used. I had to enter 13 digit reservation numbers for four passengers to set the app up for our flight. Then, when the time came to check in, it asked for the same information, although it was already in the app. Worse, it would not accept the information, and thus I could not check in and select seats. Same problem on their website. We will have to wait until we are at the airport and hope for the best.

Don't BOOK and FLY WITH THIS. There are some reason. 1. You have to collect your luggage in Istanbul if your transit more than 24 hours even your ticket is connected. 2. You have to pay more if you want to do a check in online and choose the suitable seat. 3. The staffs onboard is really not HELPFUL. I have turn on the light for asking help but no one come and they are just sitting and eating on the back. 5. The program tourist Istanbul cannot be used for those transfers more than 24 hours.

It's one of the worst company i have ever seen. It is always late and always having lost baggage issue. They do not know where is the luggage located??? Why have to spend more money to get the tracking improved. And they hace one of the worst customer service i have ever seen not very helpfull not even able to talk wirh supervisor!!! - password section takes only digits this is not very secure needs to be updated.

Uninstalled soon after installing. Wastebof time. Passenger details not getting saved. I have added 2 names to the booking but each time I exit the screen, the data gets lost. It is not saved. What a waste of effort. What an amateurish app. Utterly useless. Doesn't save meal preferences for more than 1 passenger one 1 PNR even if there are 3 of us booked together. Uninstalled.

My experiences with the Turkish Airlines app as well as Turkish Airlines themselves was dissapointing, don't trust the app: 1.The app's check in feature didn't work on two separate ocasions had to spend 40+ minutes on the phone for checkins. 2. Even after you check in in other ways, it doesn't store your ticket and boarding pass. 3. Has a lot of weird bugs, which still happen after the last two updates 4. I couldn't contact Turkish Airlines from the app, it sends you to their problematic website

My flights LAX-IST-LAX never appeared in the app. Track a flight option doesn't notify of early arrival. Despite seat selection online in advance, had to re-select a seat again everytime when checking-in via app, no sync between internal systems. Requests to enter passport and other info every check-in, although it was provided for Miles & Smiles program. Bad product.

App & website are not efficient. They need Americans to make this app properly function. One example is redeeming miles. Must log into several different sections within their system to access miles. After deselecting a seat, it will remain unavailable. System times out frequently. Continue button is not visible because its covered up by the zoom in/zoom out buttons. The app reverts to the Turkish language even after selecting other language. Their grammar makes no sense. Terrible interfaces.

This is crazy! Useless app. I was trying to add another passanger to my existing booking so that I can manage both of them together, but the app never save other passenger to my booking. Every time I had to add them separately because when you go back the app will take you to the homepage (navigation is also messed up). I tried to create account for miles&smiles but the create password field will not let me paste my password, also it just allows you to have numbers in that field.

The app is good overall. Much better than the TKY website. There is a bug I have found though. When trying to purchase an award ticket, at least when taxes are charged in dollars, the system doesn't let you proceed stating you don't have enough miles. It seems to add the number of miles needed for flight and the dollar amount for taxes to check if you have enough.

Absolutely the worst airline app I have ever used. I don't write reviews but I'm irritated enough right now that I feel like I need to. There's too many glitches and bugs to mention, but I am currently trying to choose a seat (which Turkish charges just for the option to choose) and I keep receiving a message saying my session has ended for security reasons and that I'm being redirected to the home page. Interface looks nice but too many glitches make it almost unusable.

Update four years later: Problem below is mostly fixed. Three notification settings in the app now, but they don't carry over to the Android system setting; you've got to do it in the app. (Push advertising, and disrespectful lack of notification options. This app pushed an advertising notification on my phone. The only option is to turn off all notifications, including flights. I am uninstalling this app and will only put it back when there are separate notification settings for ads and flight notifications.)

Really like the user interface, but it's quite glitchy, similar to their desktop website. Tried making a reservation and twice in a row, both unsuccessful, including several other attempts that didn't even allow me to get to the payment page. Had to do a "reserve and pay later" option, and even then it took 3 attempts before it finally went through. Turns out there are also multiple duplicate charges on my credit card. Of course I already let the bank know but it was still quite annoying
