Very time consuming. Constant ridiculous messages. What you change on the web site, does not update on the app. Extremely annoying ads to upgrade to better services. Upgrade...are you kidding me, into for 10 minutes and still not setup. And I have used them for several years. No thanks. Much better and LESS EXPENSIVE apps out there. If it's part of Intuit, Quickbooks, ect...stay clear.

This app has lots of bugs. I was almost finished and tried to file multi states and it populated earned interest into the wrong state and you can't edit it. Lots of "oops, can't find..." when you click for more info. So I requested a call back. It took only a few minutes to get a call. But the support person couldn't help and he just ghosted me. I kept asking "are you there?" No answer. I've used turbo tax for over 10 years but now I won't use them again.

Was forced to upgrade from free in order to claim a tax "credit". The "upgrade" costs $39... But that only covers federal... You have to upgrade your state taxes, too, even though it's a federal credit and doesn't effect state taxes. On top of that, they charge a $4 fee anytime you use a credit card, so now I'm down about $90... And the tax "credit" that I received for this ridiculous upsell? Exactly $0.... Intuit gets worse every year. I will never recommend any of their software.

I've been using turbotax for years without any issues. This year, my return was rejected because I forgot a document. I've uploaded the needed document, but now I'm stuck on the same screen that tells me to fix my refund and when i click the button it sends me back to the same screen. My original tax expert could help me nor could the 4 other tax experts that followed. Seriously, I really did enjoy using turbotax, but this year, I might go somewhere else if I can get this issue resolved.

sucks can never fix my return always get error messages. I've sent private messages on the app sent emails trying to get help my return has already been rejected twice but when it was checked both times by the system it said everything was good. It shouldn't be this hard to get help when I'm being charged almost $300 to do the taxes myself. At this point I don't have a clue what I'm being charged for I'm doing all the work basically and not receiving any help with my issues

NOT FREE / I was tricked into paying for unnecessary "elite service" scams. After filling out everything, they gave me the option to delete the information or pay 59$ to complete my taxes. I got suckered in, and they overcharged my credit card -148$ for doing the maximum total of 167$ tax return. I called within minutes to ask why I paid so much & the agent said I was charged for using the supersonic, ultra, premium, elite service & there's no way to stop it now. Scam, I would not recommend it!

Absolutely positively do NOT use Intuit or this app to file your taxes. Not only is it cumbersome to navigate, they repeatedly try and sell you additional services instead of enabling a proper tax return. Good luck uploading and viewing forms. Frankly, simply using the IRS online filing system is more accomodating and efficient. Save your money and save your time. Say NO to Turbotax.

HORRIBLE. Filed my taxes and received a text message saying that they were rejected. I go to the app to fix them and try it again, but naturally I had to update this worthless app. I update and suddenly it tells me I have to go on the WEBSITE to fix my tax return. It's repetitive, slow, and genuinely drives me insane. Absolute waste of my time. Too bad you can't put in a review for 0 stars.

Used to be great. Intuit is destroying their programs with ads & sales spam. Tech issue for 2 days, can't reach a human until I progress more. Makes me post to community forums where there's only tax help(which is appreciated). Shared screenshots, no reply. Have tried the app, pc, same issue. Literally can't do my taxes. Definitely a glitch & cant get help. Now, I try to pull up last year's 1040 and keep getting redirected to start this year's. I can't access paid previous year files now either

Having nothing but problems this year. Did all the steps and got stuck on the second step where the system asks how your going to pay your taxes. Put in all info and can't get passed the second step and move to the third step to finalize and sign and file taxes. I have been through several help options and nothing has fixed the problem. Seriously frustrated. Scripted fixes don't always work. Has anyone else had this problem or am I the only one. 🤔

The app is worse then the website. The sign in page doesn't work all the time. Sometimes you're stuck buffering if you have bad Internet connection. Hidden fees (like trying premium 160$, the add fees at the end when your basicly done using it (250$)) and experts that are not so IT savvy when it comes to problems on there own websites. (Like finding the correct bank) (I found it) Overall disappointed and dissatisfied. Not worth. Finding a good person with know is easier and more worth your time.

The app is useless in terms of accessing any past years info. The support team is super caring, but the "experts" are 90% of the time full of attitude and don't help. I paid for live assist last year, and for the first time EVER I owe the irs money because of inaccurate input. I guess the experts don't like doing their jobs and they really don't care to help fix a mistake that was EQUALLY their fault. Do NOT recommend this service or the app, don't waste your time or money.

I use both TurboTax app and mobile web browser, as needed. Although I generally like TurboTax as a tax filing platform, the technical difficulties can feel cumbersome and makes me anxious. I had trouble signing to file my taxes because it kept getting stuck in the loading loop, until it finally verified my email via OTP (which is fine) and let me move forward with the signing. Also, logging in via web Mobile browser shows error messages like "This page does not exist".

Certaintly the most frustrating thing is when using a digital service is when you invest a large amount of your time into using said service, only to have your time investment undermined by a single terrible feature. Why can I not edit the info in the W2 I uploaded?? Your app imported box 15 improperly. The w2 is physically correct, but your apps faulty import feature combined with the full lack of being able to change entries is just unfathomably frustrating. Change this or I'll go elsewhere.

This year is the last time using TurboTax after 4 years. It's become frustrating with constant upsells. Why ask for my last year's return numbers that you already have in your system??? Then send me on your navigation maze to find them. Tax filing is sooo much harder now, not easier, even removed help tips that distinguished you! Feels like the experience design took a backseat to focus on sales tactics, with dark patterns to mislead users down wrong paths. Disappointed and leaving. What a shame

TurboTax is missing the mark this year. I don't think that I have ever been more disappointed. The app doesn't allow you to file State taxes unless you upgrade to the "Max". When attempting to file my State taxes, it either starts me back to the beginning and review everything, then only allows me to file the Federal unless I upgrade. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I can not recommend TurboTax this year until they resolve their mistakes.

incredibly ridiculous & pointless app, if any errors are made uploading documents, you aren't able to edit or remove documents AT ALL!!! Even though their in app screen specifically tells you that you can but it is lies! They instead make it very complicated to figure out that you actually have to cough up $130+ just to BUY their PC (Mac/Windows) version before you're able to access the ability to edit or remove your own files!

I used turbo tax free for years and it was so easy and affordable. This year I was forced to upgrade and ended up having to pay them the majority of my tax return to file. Turbo tax is no longer worth it and do not fall for the "free" filing because nearly nobody gets it anymore no matter how basic your taxes may be. Never again, I will gladly pay someone local and in person to do my taxes next year.

Bait and switch. I came to turbo tax because of the easy free filing. I started the process with basic but was force to upgrade to deluxe halfway through because my w2 and 2 credits ( banking interest) no longer qualified for basic. 🙄 The half hour it took me to enter my own data cost nearly $200. What a rip off. I had the same 3 forms I entered the last 3 years I used TurboTax, but this was the 1st time I was charged and I didn'teven get a tax refund. Next year I will use a different service.

Tricky marketing pricing which keeps prompt you on upgrading based on the complexity of the return ( which Im fine with) but it doesn't support if you downgrade products. I needed to redo my entire return which could be done as easy in software, but you know it is a money making enterprise, who care about customer experience, or voice of customer. Intuit never fails to surprise.
