In addition to your username and password, you’ll need a code generated by the Truist Authenticator app on your phone to login to your account.
Features:
• Help protect your account by using a PIN or your preferred biometric trait (depending on your device capabilities).
• Generate verification codes without a data connection
• Must be activated by scanning a CRONTO image (QR code) containing one-time activation credentials.

App will not open. Completely unusable. Truist support unable to assist. Pixel 6, Android 12. There are many PROVEN authenticator apps (Google, Microsoft, etc) Why reinvent the wheel?

What a JOKE this company and app are. If it was not through work I would not use them. Downloaded the app to scan the QR code, and go figure it won't scan it properly. Garbage app.

Is there any possible way to login to the website without using this app? It made me change settings on my phone to even get it to work and I'd REALLY appreciate it if this was not necessary.

This app is not working. I am trying to use this for my job and the bank instructions don't match what the app has. It says select online activation........there is nothing to select for online activation. POS.

I can't get it to work all I wanted was the truest app to make a deposit. it threw me into truest authentication and I can't make that work at all. it's easier to drive to the bank!

Crashes every time on Android after asking for camera and location permissions. Wish we could use the Google or Microsoft authenticator apps instead. Hope it gets fixed.

App not opening correctly, instead opens a web browser to an error page, which says "Hmm. That didn't work.. "

Pixel 6 Pro ... App will not open. Tried contacting Truist support and support from my phone with Google and no success. Also tried emailing the developer contact email listed here for the app but they said they could not help. I am at a loss for being able to use this app.

Can't get it to open. Everytime I try it says oops something went wrong. I have been calling since December to try and get it to work and I get a different answer everytime. Worst banking experience ever. Probably going to move business banking elsewhere

APP DOES NOT WORK IF DEVELOPER MODE IS ON. TURN OFF DEVELOPER MODE AND IT SHOULD WORK AGAIN-- found out on accident after having to carry around a second device for two years. Treasury management agents treated me like a moron when I described the issue to them.

Trying to get access to our company bank accounts, and I can't even open the app. I see many reviews below have the same issue. Seems like a bank would definitely prioritize fixing this.

when are they going to fix the "hmmm" error cause of developer mode. Sorry I love having a faster phone cause of my developer mode. Yet this dumb "soft token" app that I'm required to have for my job. Which BTW I use my phone for other stuff for work that requires the developer mode to be on. Truist fix this nonsense already. Android users, actually use their phones for more than games and watching TikTok. We're not like your ISO user that do.

The people who are having an issue with the app bringing to a webpage of the bat, is because you have dev options enabled on your phone. Now I don't see why they don't want you to have dev options enabled when not a single other 2fa product has an issue with it.

UPDATE: If you have an Android and have Developer Options enabled, it will not let the app open. It'll take you to a website error page. Disable Developer Options and it'll work again!! Go to your settings to find this and turn it off. NOBODY at Truist will know this; I only found out because another user posted a review here in the app store (thank you to them)!! Tried opening and it leads to a website (?!) with an error message that says "Hmm. That didn't work..."

Asks for camera permission, but says "Hmm, that didn't work" when you allow it. Plus, there's nothing about enabling 2FA on their website either. Tried turning developer access off, now it wants to scan something on my computer screen, but doesn't say WHAT to scan. At this time, my video game has better security via Google Authenticator.

it's already infuriating enough that i was forced to download this just to log in, but on top of that the app barely functions. it's awful, assuming you can even get IN the app in the first place without it crashing as soon as it's opened. I'm glad i only have to use this bank for work instead of my personal finances because it's absolutely infuriating.

Downloaded this app for work purposes and once downloaded and trying to open the app it brings me to the Truist webpage in Google Chrome. Once on the webpage it says "Hmmm ..that didn't work.""How do I fix this? I have given the app all permissions and still nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled several times as well. Downloaded on my husband's phone that is the same as mine and it works fine. I have a Google Pixel 8.

Opening the app immediately goes to Truist website stating "hmm that didn't work". Called support about it and after 20mins working with them they said it's my phone carrier. Reading through the reviews I found the solution turning off developer options but it's not a long term fix nor is anyone actually notified of this when troubleshooting.

Trusit has constantly been making changes that make everything harder for us. First they "consolidated" our 8 credit cards into 2 accounts. The accounts dont sync with the individual cards so we never know how much we owe or how much credit we have available. Now they come out with this security feature requiring the authenticator app in order to login to the truist one portal, but the app doesn't work! It hasn't worked for over a year. The app just takes you to a webpage displaying an error.
