As a Canadian based driver I use this mainly in the Michigan & Eastern New York areas. It has it flaws with routes sometimes especially in smaller towns and cities and rural areas as the mapping is not up to date. Overall I consider this Navigation system adequate for the type of driving I do. It is no worst off than ones that ask for a monthly subscription. It has a 4 star from me based on my personal experience with it.

Update.... it's wrong on toll roads... 476 and 80 are definitely toll roads that it routed me on when i clicked NO TOLLS. the toll cost thing is also wrong. It said zero and I'm up to over $200 in tolls. This is by far the best app I've come across. Even better than the pay one i used. One of the routing options always matches the route sent on the Qualcomm. The quick pick for the truck stops is nice. I used the weather radar tab once and it seemed to be on point.

The new and STILL COMPLETELY FREE heir to Trucker Path. Great app for truckers. Does just about everything that trucker path does, but free, unlike trucker path which now requires a subscription to access most of its useful features. Edit: This app also desperately needs more information on the small (non-chain/mom and pop truck stops), since as it stands right now, about the only information it gives on those is where they are; not even how many parking spots, let alone amenities available.

Really like this app. Positives: 1) Easy to use 2) Good color scheme 3)Like having option to only display your favorites 4)Like Recent search option Negatives: 1) Route dissapears if another screen pops in front of App ( if you get a phone call), then you have to reselect in route planner. 2) Satellite view removes namesof streets, highways etc. 3) wish you didn't have to reselect POI's every time you opened app. Thank you, Sidney

When I 1st downloaded this app, things worked great. And Mapbox worked, the better truck navigation, Here* is just basically Google Maps with truckstop info,, but now it always says Mapbox is temporarily disabled. Why? And it just stops all the time. I'm looking for a better trucking app, when I find it, this ones deleted! Edited: Leading truck navigator huh? Here* has suggested turning down one lane rds in a semi that GMs wouldn't send a car!! But I understand, even the best aren't perfect...

The app was very useful with trip planning when I first started using it. But, over the last year or so it started messing up...it wasn't finding addresses, it gave me 3 maps to choose from (but, the maps didn't have the truck stops on the route I chose) or the app didn't work at all. I don't know what changed but it went down hill. In my opinion this was one of the best truckers map. I can't say b it is now.

Update since last review... Only improvement I suggested could be made, has been done. Of course nothings 100% accurate, but haven't had a problem since I've used it. Not to mention added a fuel estimator on the route planner... Hands down best of the best... Much Luv agian on the improvements. Ya'll made a good thing great!!! Only improvement this app could possibly make is with navigation. But as far as everything else. It's hands down above the rest, only found one other app that could come close to comparing to it. But I cross refrence everything to it. As far as locations for parking, weight stations, cat scales it's a must. If they did get a strictly truckers navigation system to it. I wouldn't be mad at them for charging... but besides that Much Much Luv to you folk!!! Keep up the good work... good to feel like somebody on our side!!! Gods Luv, prayers, and prosperity!!!

This app was pretty cool up until the most recent updates. Now, all the layers I've selected to populate on the map delete after each use, forcing me to re-select them every time I want to use the app. It's also much more difficult now to navigate to a location using Google maps. There used to be a direct link but now you have to go through about 4 different screens to get to navigation because they want you to pay for their navigation service.. it's purposely confusing.. you have to select route planner rather than navigation in order to redirect to Google maps

Since the last update was installed am unable to stay connected for more then 10 minutes. I suggest you have someone else look at the update and correct it. After working with tech support, installed new program, back to the way it used to run, impressed with tech support and their fast response, program is a great program ok what did you do now, system locks up almost immediately, not my phone, map box works fine

I just wanted something to show me bridge heights along a route, and this has it. I am renting an RV and wanted to easily check height clearances along my route. This shows the height clearances along the map route and all adjacent roads in a black and yellow marker that's easy to pick out along the way. I was able to scan my route before hand and I am good to go!

I'm am terribly sorry for the comments I made earlier!!! You were correct it was the wrong app!!! I do however have just a couple issues with it... 1 being as you try to zoom in to get better views the road names get smaller on the map as the area you are zooming in on gets better and that you cant delete unwanted icons from the selection menu. One other thing, my biggest issue, is that the app do ed sent allow you to just input a city and see the local truck stops. You always have to plan a route. I'm going to Charlotte and I already have a route I just want to see what is in the area near my drop. That would be the issue I want fixed the most!!!

It has good and useful navigation and big truck stop chains but some times missing small stations which I know already, i have submitted several small stops, hope it will be helpful. Other thing is navigation pointer is always the same, would be great if I could change it to the different icon instead of standard one. But in general it's great

I like this app. Some points to improve. 1. When inputting a destination, provide more options and control of route choice. 2. This app will tend to chose routes through residential neighborhoods, with posted weight limits, while not choosing an intersection where two major roads cross. 3 I have experienced this app change its mind mid route. I chose the option that was most direct. it had me exit the interstate, get on a State highway then direct me back to the interstate at the same exit.

ok so Im torn on the fact that I do like the app, and want to give 5 Stars, but you plan the route, get everything going, and all is good, then it seems when you need it and you are coming up to some turns, the app wants to completely shutdown! So I thought maybe just a glitch, but it seems to be happening EVERYTIME! Can you guys please look into this immediately! It's becoming very frustrating, and I want to keep using the app, but if this continues, I will have to look elsewhere. Thank you!

Drove a uHaul for the first time, to another state. This app worked wonders. You do have to pay when following the route. This GPS directed me to go down a one way street in the wrong direction. I don't think it's a deal breaker considering Google Maps constantly gives voice commands that are the opposite of the actual directions (turn left vs right).

Jack of all trades and a master of none Very ambitious app with alot of potential. It seems to find truck safe roads reliably, but almost never the fastest or most direct routes. I couldn't find a way to add an additional stop. Once you get the routing optimized and the turn by turn directions added, I may recommend this app to others. Until then I won't be replacing any of my old reliable apps. Since it's my favorite price, I'll continue to update statuses and add reviews to help improve your database. Thanks

It's handy enough at quick routing ideas without the extra junk getting in the way like some other free truck gps apps... but every now and then i need to reinstall, because otherwise it crashes when I open it. This week I did the reinstall but it is still crashing when I'm opening it, so, not sure I'll reinstall again if it isn't fixed soon.
