I like trivia, so I decided download this game. Seriously, there are more ads than game time comparatively. Continual ads. I deleted the app after like 5 minutes. Added for dev reply: The amount of ads would more than account for operating costs, both technical and physical. I've played similar games with different themes that only show two, 15 second ads at the beginning and every 5 minutes after. This is overkill.

Love it. Ads can be avoided by going to ✈ mode. What is maddening is the "Experts". It already costs 20 💎 which you basically have to purchase, then in order to get a clear answer, you have to spend coins which you also have to purchase, unless you are a genius or walking Wikipedia, to "Upgrade " your expert. Need to quit being greedy and either make rewards more or cut out all the little chipping away at our finances.

I just installed this game and I am about to get rid of it. Every level costs you 100 coins which is almost what you make after beating said level, then they force you to watch an ad for EVERY level you advance. It makes it for a not fun experience. I understand the need for ads but there is that and then there is this nightmare. If you want free ads, it will cost you $3.99 A WEEK!! I thought this would be a good one.

I like the game the questions are challenging and its fun to play. However, I have uninstalled it because after each level an ad pops up which isnt a big deal except they glitch so you have to close the game and reopen, which means you lose your turn and your money all because the ad glitched. Very frustrating! What's wven more frustrating is the developer's response to this issue.

I really enjoyed this game and didn't even mind the ads and having to pay 100 coins for each set of questions. There were a dozen categories to choose from for standard play, with leagues and quiz show, etc. Then they "new and improved" it where you get 3 (rotating) categories, or you can use your gems for 2 others. This cut options down to nothing unless you pay, pay, pay. No thanks. Uninstalling.

I like this game in general and I love trivia, but this game has some major issues. First off this game has a ton of ads, I know free games are gonna have ads that's fine but because of the second problem the trouble with the ads is exasperated. Second, glitches and bugs, this game is absolutely loaded with them, and the worst part is a lot of times it ends up costing you coins or gems in the game through no fault of your own. Annoying! I will say though, tech will help you if you write to them.

This game was decent... until it wasn't. My level progress, quiz show, experts are all wrong and have stopped updating and reflecting accuracy. There is no way for me to share past progress because it's been reset. Example, my art category level just said level 1 when I was previously way beyond (3 or 4). It takes time and coins to build levels and experts. It's like this on all the categories and features of the game. It's been 3 days now, no response. Pointless to play now.

Fun game. It has issues though. Ads play at full volume unless each is muted separately. Makes it hard to play in, say, a doctor's office. Ads also crash the game at an alarming rate. Scree just goes black & locks up. When you restart you lose your previous progress. I'm ok with it because I'm just playing for the questions. If you really want to advance in the game this will frustrate you no end.

I enjoy trivia and this would've been a nice app if not for the constant ads. Every 3 questions then an ad that takes longer than the question round itself. The ads have no mute so it's sudden blaring sounds. I don't want to turn down my phone's volume, and the game settings only apply to the game not the ads. Uninstalling because of the annoying ads not the game itself.

Played for all of 2 minutes before uninstalling. Within those two minutes of gameplay, there were 45 second ads between the levels. To the developer, nobody has a problem with ads. They have a problem with the length and frequency of the ads. Any time you see a developer giving these overused, meaningless, copy-paste retorts to valid criticism, run. People are trying to tell you why your game was not fun for them. Stop trying to invalidate that. It's gross.

Trivia Star is a great game to help strengthen your mind and teach you knew information. That I give 5*****, but it can use some work in the technical side of the game. If they could only figure out why it crashes after every two (2) levels it would a very enjoyable game. And because of this problem I give the game/app an overall score of 3***

I really wanted to like this. Two bad things within the first 5 minutes. 1 - I turned the sound and music off in settings as I like yo play at work, but when the first add came on it blew out the speaker so everyone could hear. 2 - with that loud ad it also stuck me in some weird loop switching between the ad and the app store. Sorry folks but this is a loser.

Irritating! First, let's just say the game itself is not bad. The graphics are ok. The questions are not extremely hard. It would be enjoyable but it is so very irritating to watch an ad after every single question! The ads are longer than the actual game time, totally ridiculous. And then the ad freezes and you have to restart the game. I'm not sure why this got so high of a review. I understand ads are necessary but not like this. I will be deleting this game.

WAYYY too many ads!! After EVERY round is an ad. The game could be fun, but I was so irritated with all the ads! Uninstalled for this reason! What a shame! After reading ALL the same responses from the site, "That's how we keep it free for everyone with ads," LAUGHING 🤣 I play a lot of games with NO ads, and those are the ones I keep and enjoy! Message me when you have a better excuse, or better yet, NO ADS Games are suppose to be enjoyable, this one, irritating! Skip this download!

Questions so ridiculously easy, with frequent ads for other games that take you to Play store and out of the game, no getting around it! I am uninstalling this game. In my opinion, it is just a vehicle for pushing ads, while offering no challenge whatsoever, at least that was my experience trying it out. Not recommended.

There are so many advertisements which also seem to be connected to the game freezing-up. This is not at all a new problem. I have tried this game a few times over the years and it has been consistent with this problem. It is inexcusable that the technical "experts" have been paid to resolve problems and don't, and when they receive a complaint they create more. Now it's freezing-up at seemingly random locations in the game.

Numerous categories, some I haven't tried yet. Ads, but they come after a level and are usually other games and of short duration or skipable. There are hints available for every question and an extra life if you miss one question. Very fun game if you are a trivia buff like me. It's probably too hard for anyone 18 and under.

I'd give a higher rating if the ads didn't pop up after either every question or category. Incredibly annoying! Edit 2/25/24 reduced from 3 to 2 stars since the game doesn't allow 1 full level without a really stupid ad. Eventually, I'll uninstall it once I come across another game to replace this one. Downgraded to one star, can't finish a level without intrusive ads that won't close.

I understand including ads to support developers but the ads are very very frequent, require you to skip each ad 3 separate times, and take you to a website or external app if you slightly misclick the tiny x. Incredibly frustrating game with very frustrating bugs, especially with the weekly tournaments. You move up, or down in rank each week, and even when I move up, I randomly drop 10 levels in ranking for no reason, which happens all. the. time. I've emailed the company, as encouraged on their "help" section, but never heard back. A complete waste of time with the MANY bugs I keep coming across. Considering deleting the game altogether. Worth zero stars. Also, some questions have wrong answers.
