1st things 1st: I DO enjoy this game and I HIGHLY recommend it. I also have a pretty consistent connection and few technical issues or glitches. So why 3 stars? I have 2 problems that each are annoying enough to take a star off. 1st, there are a lot of ads. And I know, free games have ads, I'm rolling my own eyes. But the ads are INSANE. *During timed gameplay*, answering questions correctly, getting them wrong, getting done with an ad. BOOM. Ads. 2nd, some of the questions are poorly edited.

Question quality is not well controlled, and it is difficult or impossible to provide feedback during gameplay. The tower game scoring system is unfathomable and extremely frustrating. Squeak out a win, gain a point. Dominate and gain a couple. Sometimes randomly gain 10, 15 or more. Lose, though, and drop over 30 points, whether close or not. Tie and lose a point. Play is pretty enjoyable if you can get over the large number of ambiguous or incorrectly answered questions.

SOOO many invasive ads. They're all 30 seconds long and a lot of them open the link when you try to X out. And there's a lot of them. Every minute or so you have to watch a 30 second ad and desperately try to exit out of it without opening it up. And the notifications go off constantly if you don't turn them off. I might've actually enjoyed the game if it weren't for that

it's just full of a ridiculous amount of ads and it makes the game unplayable. you'll be in the middle of a challenge that's time sensitive and right in the middle of asking each and EVERY SINGLE question they play an ad between it and you can lose just cuz the ads take your dam time! To top it off the game freezes on you if you try to get off the ads. They ruined this game and they'll never fix it. seems like all they care about is the ads. can't waste my time on this. They2 thirsty 4 ad money

The first one was better. I remember being able to play multiple games at a time and finish them in one sitting. Now there are hearts that you wait and accumulate every 30 minutes for each turn. So you end up playing a few rounds on one game and have to wait every 30 minutes to answer another question until you finish the one game. Plus there are endless ads now.

The app is fun but the amount of problems is a bit overwhelming. Lives take way too long to refill. The castle duel is tons of fun but due to ads popping up, over 30 seconds can easily be wasted. Ads also have a chance to force close the app. The app is very laggy and drains a ton of battery in very little time of play. Some questions have wrong or multiple correct answers, as well as just being in the wrong category or not being trivia. Castle duel is the most promising mode but the rewards for winning is barely nothing, but so are all other rewards.

Get Trivia Crack 1. I am a huge fan of Trivia Crack, and played it a ton. Upon release of Trivia Crack 2, I was extremely disappointed. Before, you could pay $1.99 to remove ads, but now there is no option to do that. Instead, you're forced to pay for a yearly or monthly subscription for no ads and endless lives. Not to mention ads are rampant in this game. Forcing customers to submit to the subscription is a horrible idea, especially if the first game does not have this. Will be deleting the app unless a "Remove ads" option is made for the similar price as the first game.

The game is fun, but ads in the middle of the rounds cost you time, and I am not going to pay to have something like that removed. I can't afford to spend money on an app like that. It would be a lot more fun if ads wouldn't pop up when you use helps, or during a vrs when you get an answer wrong you have an ad between the chances. You are in a timed race!

What kind of game has time limited head it head battles but shows you ads of varying lengths in the middle of it? Tower Duel has no competitive integrity at all. Also, I was excited for a new Trivia Crack and see what new improvements they've made for the gameplay. Instead, the game is exactly the same as the first except they've removed the option of paying a flat fee to remove ads for a monthly subscription fee. If you like Trivia Crack, play the original. This is a low effort, greedy cash grab exploiting subscription fees for a simple trivia game.

It is not a bad game and I understand the use/need for the ads, but they pop up one after another for me. The ad for Townhouse doesn't show up most of the time and all I see is a black screen. That's the main reason that I gave it 2 stars was because of the frequency and length of the ads I will never download. Otherwise, the game is fine I like the new tower mode (new for me) and it's nice to not have the same questions repeat like it used to; yet.

Far too many deeply intrusive ads, but even more importantly, a fair number of factual inaccuracies. Also, repeated grammar and spelling errors. This game could be fun, but instead it's frustrating and terrible. Not to mention the bugs--like agreeing to watch an ad for an extra turn only to have it deny you your turn after you've already sat through the ad.

I like the game itself but have 3 issues with it: 1.) Way too many ads. 2.) The app constantly asking me what I think about the game. 3.) The texts for each question are WAY too small and thin which makes them difficult to read. I'm partially blind with visual impairments and it's incredibly difficult to read on a white/light background and also with such small texts. It would be so nice if it had a feature to adjust the text size to make it larger and bolder as well as a dark mode feature.

The game is fun for those who like trivia. The downside of it is it has way too many ads, every time I go to the main page I keep getting asked to rate the game, and I don't like the fact that it opens other apps on your phone without permission such as Chrome/internet browser and the play store, forcing you to download an app pretty. I can't find the setting to stop it from doing this. It seems like an invasion and a big reason not to download it.

Overall, the game is fun and I will keep playing. Paying to remove ads was worth it. My major complaints are: - event questions can't be reported, and I've seen some truly bizarre/outright wrong questions in these events - the question "packs" have no descriptions, and tapping will immediately purchase - I feel like there should be more categories to questions than the 6 available - tower duel wins seem random; I've had more categories and answered questions but still lost?

Best replacement for QUIZ-UP. Absolutely love the option to pick catagories. I primarily do the daily challenges which is awesome. Unfortunately you have to pay to get rid of adds and avoid a time suspension after a certain amount of challenges. Silver lining is the subscription is very cheap. Its around $1.50. Awesome app with great questions!

Started out pretty fun, but after a while you get a ton of ads. You also can't play if you run out of lives (not even single player), so the game basically becomes obsolete after a certain amount of wrong answers. Overall, not a fan, but it could be enjoyable for people who are actually good at trivia. Just for a quick addition, yes the lives refill, but very slowly. As an average to slightly below average trivia player, I could play for around 20 minutes before having to wait an hour or more.

Was fun but the ads are bugged. Not only is the "pressable" part of the x button so small so that you get taken to the play store 90% of the time, but when you get taken to the play store and go back to the app (because you didn't want to go to the play store) the ad stays stuck on the screen with no exit option. Reopening the app then displays a stuck loading screen and you have to Uninstall and reinstall the app to fix. Not worth the time until fixed.

I've always loved trivia crack. I used to play often when I was little. It really tests your knowledge on topics, and you learn much more. But you get ads 99% of the time you answer incorrectly. I hate it b/c they aren't skippable and are 30-55 seconds. What's the point of having the option to watch ads, for rewards, when you already get them? I would close the app and reopen just to get rid of them. I saw you can get rid of ads for $1.99. It's b.s. but I bought it. The game is actually fun now.

Ads, ads, ads. Every button press opens an ad. Decided to take the loss instead of watch an ad to play again? Well, it will make you watch an ad anyways! On top of that you need to spend coins just to activate the limited use powerups you acquired, talk about double-dipping. The trivia also has gone down in quality. A lot of questions are worded weirdly. It seems their question base is entirely driven by the free labor of its users now.

I like the game. However, it crashes a lot more than I prefer: sometimes in the middle of a game which then sometimes causes me to lose that question as if I had answered incorrectly. Also, it sometimes freezes, but the timer keeps going causing me to time out despite tapping the answer multiple times. I never wanted to leave a review, but they ask you incessantly how you like the game no matter how many times you hit the x so you don't have to give them a lower star rating, so here I am.
