More About Trenches of War
The goal of this game is to cross the battlefield and enter the enemy camp. Doing so will require careful unit recruitment and strategic advancement timing.
Units are recruited and controlled by pressing the buttons at the bottom of the screen. The rightmost button tells three troops to advance to the next trench, the leftmost button tells three troops to halt advancing. Soldiers, flamethrowers, and tanks are capable of advancing into enemy trenches, snipers and artillery will only advance when a trench has been claimed. To access elite units, press and slide up on the Sniper, Tank, and Artillery buttons.
Money trickles in automatically overtime but is also rewarded for killing enemies, capturing trenches, and when a crate falls into your territory.
Killing enemies contributes to a power meter. When this power meter is full, a power-up (speed boost or immunity) is activated for a few seconds.
The score multiplayer in the top-right corner contributes to money rewards and power-gain.
Cornfields blind basic infantry, providing some cover for troops attempting to cross them.
Rivers slow soldiers down to 3/4 of their normal speed when it is sunny and 1/3 of their normal speed when it is raining.
Trenches upgrade over time to acquire barbwire.
Barracks and factories can be captured to spawn units closer to the battlefield.

I love this game but here's my problem they need to fix the level select because it won't show my completed leaves and the one I'm on unless I select a different level then go back

Simple but fun. The controls are really easy and game play is smooth. The graphics are simple but it's still enjoyable.

Has unbalanced units, and "power ups" trigger for the opponent more often. The duration of these power ups are longer on the opponents aswell.

Ah, such memories. Been a while since I played the game. If you, the developer reads this — if you're not dead of course — thanks for making a wonderful 2d game. I hope it doesn't die for atleast a few decades.

graphics are a bit bad but personally that is a positive for my old rickety phone the stratergy and enjoyable difficulty is great and even a chimpanzee could use the controls

Its great but i wish there was a multipler where you chose your country.And the army color changes tan for Britsh,green for American,blue for France,grey for germany .Also it would be great if the tanks were different for each country.and the helmet changes as well.Also maybe new troops depending on the faction.Germans stay with flammthrowers,France gets meleee,us gets bayoltes and britan gets machine gunners

i like the game takes a bit longer for the start mostly because there is no trop thats like cost lost and is op but when u get more units some tanks planes artillery can make get through those times when its whl has more snipers win defince cuse the first misson are just annoying with the snipers but i compete the game hope more gets added and maybe multiplayer if people still work on this game but its good good AND MAKE ANOTHER GAME OR ADD MORE TO THIS ONE

Great game. Hope to see more unit kinds like Anti-Tank Infantry or Grenade Throwers in the future. And it would be even better if you could save the progress of a battle and then continue from where you started.

its already a good time killer. however would love the Mother (first tank) and the Rolling Fortress (basically a huge metal box tank). With maybe a trench raider troop which has better health but costs more. either those or multiplayer and it's golden.

You spame units on the field but they all overlap you cant tell how many troops are around on ethier side. The animations are just unsatisfying so the action falls flat. Everything works fine no bugs as I can tell, ads are limited which is nice.

There needs to be a more diverse set of controls. When the enemy AI can decide what troops to send over the trench, but you can't, thats not okay. Also tanks are bugged. If you ha e 2 tanks, it will only send one tank out.

One of the best strategy games out there. But there is room for improvement that in my opinion is a local multiplayer option. Then one can spend lots of time playing with friends. Apart from this the game is a great time killer and fun if one plays the right moves

It is a vood challenge for the first few levels. But when tanks are introduced it isnt even worth playing the game because it devolves into a tank rush each game. gets very boring very fast.

Immunity is terribly unbalanced. You get it for 5 seconds and the enemy Immunity timer resets every kill (which so happens to be your entire army regardless of size) oh and they get Immunity 95% of the time and when it wears off they for some reason get the speed boost, ya know just to make sure their entire army is now immediately at your doorstep

This game is full of problems, when I get immunity it lasts barely 5 seconds but the enemies lasts for up to 15, and coincidentally they get it just when I send my men over the top making my attack fail and wasting my time. Enemy artillery and tanks also can wipe out an entire trench but mine can only kill 5 enemy soldiers max? Fix the problems and maybe you'll have an enjoyable experience.

It's a great game. I wish there where more units in the game.( different tanks) I want to be able to tell troops where to go like if you want to have a reserve in the back trench so they all don't get killed in the first trench from artillery. But overall a great game and a great time killer.

Has a great amount of potential, good game play, adding upgrades and few more troops to the game would be sweet , and for campaign mode there should be more incoming enemies at least by 35 - 40% because it's not hard at all, yoo easy on easy and normal mode just adding more incoming enemies should fix that.

Fast-paced, high-intensity game for revving up my blood-pressure. The Regular version is better than the Google Instant-app version if you have the storage space and time, but both versions are buggy. I was in the top 100 of at least one in-game community ranking, (yeah, surprised the heck out of me too).

Repetive missions, low unit vareity, maybe add a sandbox mode when you have completed easy mode or above difficulties defeating the entire campaign once. Add AA, not artillery being used as AA, chemical warfare added for a currency system (Credits). Decent game to waste hours for if you like repetive missions. Also add a tiny bit of explanation at the start of each mission since it starts to become boring. Hope this overview was helpful and will be considered in future updates. Enjoy your day.

I like the game, but I have some qualms. 1. Regular troops should be cheaper 2. My troops do very little damage, and the enemy one-shot my troops 3. Artillery on my side on hurt 3 people at once, but the enemy's hurts as many as possible 4. My artillery always misses, while the enemy always hits 5. Tanks and their upgrade need to be fixed, at a trench they have a bug that prevents troops from shooting at the troops in the trench
