I have both Experian and Equifax apps. Both easy to use and instantly show my credit score and so much more. First thing I noticed about this app is they want my credit card info. You are a credit bureau so you already have that info. So why you trying to charge me? Immediately deleted when I reached that part. Zero stars as far as I'm concerned.

Your service costs too much for too little, and when I had it I was only able to see scores from 1 bureau not all 3 - and one of the ones I couldn't see was yours!, and neither your website or app is user friendly at all. I had so many problems with both including support and dispute services that I probably wouldn't use your service even if it was free. I use CreditKarma (for free scores from you and Equifax) and Experian (for their new ExperianBoost service and more, unfortunately not free).

This app REALLY needs some work. Every time I attempt to log on to the app it says my credentials are invalid. So I go thru all the motions, change my password, the app says it was successfully changed. Then I try to log on again and get the same message... that my credentials are invalid. I know my user name is valid. Always, right after I'm denied access through the app I can use those same credentials (and new password) to log on to the desk top website.

I downloaded the app and tried to login with the same credentials I use on the website, and it tells me that those credentials are invalid. I can log into the website, but not the app. So I figured maybe the app has to be registered separately and then linked, so I clicked "Sign Up" on the app's login page, and it takes me to sign up for the credit monitoring monthly subscription. So apparently this app ISN'T for checking your credit and managing freezes, but is just for the paid service.

Worst from the 3 major services. Most expensive with the worst app. I am only using because I am being forced to by a store I want to get a credit card from. Got credit denied because I just moved and they couldn't confirm my address, call them to see what happened, they gave me the correct address but when I go to the app I still see my old address only. Bad service!

Can't even sign up because when entering the credit card expiration it requires a / but it only lets me use numerical keyboard and I can't enter the / character. So it's literally impossible. Good software nowadays has automatic formatting to prevent incompatabilities like this. Any way it's too expensive and i feel like TransUnion only updates any thing if I'm using a paid service through an app.

The app is fine and functional. I would assume that the score they show you on the app would match their score given when all the bureaus are pulled simultaneously. There is a 59 point difference for me currently. That is misleading and counterproductive. Not to mention I am paying for a service that shows me one thing and reports another without an explanation. Very disappointing.

This app feels like it could use a serious overhaul. We're now in 2021 headed for 2022 and I still have to manually put in a password everytime to login. Not that that's a bad thing, however, giving options up front like a finger print sign in would be an awesome /much welcomed change. The website itself on my laptop was a little wonky too as it was asking for payment info again after providing it for billing purposes. Itasked if my home and billing addresses were different, which I replied no.

I purchased this app for the credit lock after the Equifax breach. The features are great, but I have a few complaints surrounding login and security: 1) Recently when I tried to login I hit a Java exception resulting in a login failure. 2) In an attempt to resolve issue (1) I updated the app, but now, while it allows me to log in, it no longer saves my credentials (as it did previously). So every time I want to log in I need to re-enter my password. 3) Neither the website or the app support two-factor authentication, which is unusual for a finance app like this. Ideally would like to see support for both SMS and authenticator apps at some point.

I have the myTransUnion app that uses to let me freeze and unfreeze my credit. I think they abandoned that app. Now, I can't log in to this app with my same credentials that work on their website. They want you to pay for access. With all of the security beaches in the past years, I think credit companies should have a free, easy way to freeze and unfreeze credit.

App has been fubar for a long time. States longin credentials are incorrect, or says it's sending a code to an email address I haven't used in over a decade. Logging into website is no problem, and my info (including login information and current email address) is correct on there as well. This is very disappointing since this agency is in charge of our most personal information and credit records, and can cause serious harm to us financially.

There's is lot of improvement needed. Especially on the security and usability front. There is no two factor auth. There are no options for enabling biometrics, have to key in the password everytime. Also once logged in I see a button to refresh my report if I hadn't logged in for a while. Why would anyone want to see their old score? I would want to see my latest score right when I login. It shouldn't be a choice. Credit compass is a useless feature. My score never increased based on that.

Not only is this service mind-bogglingly expensive at $25/month, but they want to charge an additional $29.95 for a credit report, which should be available for free, once per year. Unbelievable. Also, numeric fields default to alpha input (sophomoric!) and, when they send you a six-digit code to enter, the screen returns to the initial login screen when you open your email to get the code. This requires you to start all over again from the beginning. Tech support is not available 24/7 😞.

As a paying member for years, this service and product was great. Now, the website and app functionality is not working properly (specifically, the TU credit lock function) and after calling eight different numbers and spending hours on the phone, no one at TU is able to fix it. They keep pointing the finger at other departments; just running me around in circles. If I cannot get what I am paying for, then there is no longer a reason to keep paying for and using TU products. Very frustrating.

Very unpleasant experience, the app is very raw and a lot of work needs to be done before it's usable. $20 subscription makes it look even worse. I have to enter password manually every time, for example - no biometric login, not even a saved password. "Remember me" check box does nothing. Super annoying. The page where I enter my income is a disaster, plain and simple. I had to jump through hoops to enter my numbers. It would just keep adding zeros after comma instead of increasing the number.

I feel cheated out of my money! First off this app is not free. After downloading it and installing it which is and was the only part that worked. I checked my score which was at least accurate but than I started to notice issues. My personal information was mostly correct but my employment was 14 years behind! The credit compass did not work and and the app is hard to navigate. Ok let's move on, the app has very little information on credit and your accounts. This app is terrible, don't buy!

Such a trash app. Take for example their alert notification system. There is NO WAY to set them as "read". So every time you log in, it looks like there's been a bunch of activity. But it's just the same old notifications. And when something new actually does happen, you miss it, because what's the difference between 34 notifications and 35? And their customer service? OMG... 2 hour long phone calls being sent to every department and NOBODY knows ANYTHING.

At first, it worked great. Now every time I try to view my accounts it won't load and freezes or crashes. I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it, force stopped it, cleared the cache and the storage and nothing is helping. There aren't any updates for it to maybe fix whatever is causing the issue that I've seen anywhere. This has been happening for ab 3 weeks now.

Apparently this app is only available for those who are paying for one of the premium options for TransUnion, not for free accounts. The other 2 credit bureaus at least have a free option on the app. This app also uses a separate account from the one you would log into the website with (and has weaker password requirements than the website). Having separate accounts despite being branded the same I find to be extremely unintuitive and disorienting.

I believe this to be their paid subscription app for credit monitoring. Whereas, it would be nice to be able to login and freeze my credit from the app instead of getting linked out to another website. Credentials for this app also are different from the "service" and "true identity" products. It's just not a clean user experience. One set of credentials should work across all products, but allow different functionality depending on paid or not.
