Awful to check train time in real time. Too many clicks required and it's not clear where the train is. Edit: the answer personally showed me that you even didn't try to understand the problem. I know you can. It's just 100x UX worse than other apps you acquired and killed. Simply that.

At first, I wouldn't touch this app, as it seemed at first glance to be preoccupied and obsessed with selling tickets, which is unecessary as I hold a season ticket. However, I think it is brilliant simply because of it's 100% more reliable and efficient informarion in the information/Favourites tab. All I want here is to know when my train will leave but just as important is which platform, which similar apps (including Southeastern's own app) do nor show or update. Five stars and deservedly so

It says no photocard required to buy a season ticket but you can't buy season ticket without a pic when you use the app. Why can you not take a screenshot of your ticket, if it has your photo on it? The screenshot will save time trying to get it out at the station, sometimes the QR code is not there and has to load. No option to download it to your phone.

Had to temporarily uninstall the app, when reinstalled it wouldn't let me download my return ticket because it was "on a different device". The advice it then gives you for moving a ticket to a new device tells you to click options that don't exist on the app. Called the number for customer service, on hold for some time being told the only option I have is to buy myself a new ticket out of my own pocket. So paid for flaws in this app...fix them and refund people for your bugs please:)))

The app itself does what it says on the tin, but it's obviously intentionally made it difficult to disable cookies and data collection (which is enabled by default, which I'm sure is supposed to be illegal), you have to go into dozens of sub menus to disable them all.

Not sure what or why it's happening but for some reason the app now doesn't provide e tickets, instead giving just a code. This no longer allows to to enter or exit any unmanned barrier stations unless you can find a helpful staff member. Not good when rushing for connections. Please return to E tickets, makes life easier. In response to the developers reply, this has happened recently on GWR, TFW, and on the 7/6/24 a West Midlands train. The train staff were unable to use the code.

My go to app, easy to use for planning, buying and receipts. Dropped a star as recent change to th app means no reverse/swap arrow next to origin and destination so can't just reverse the journey anymore, you have to type in stations. Also occasionally won't put the ticket in the app and you have to collect it in person, a pain when there's queues or machine not working - it doesnt give you a choice, it just comes up with collection only option.

The new interface is awful, it displays ticket prices lower than what is even available and despite booking for one date the booking came through as another and was then charged a £10 admin fee upon attempting to correct it for a ticket of the same price, not to mention you can't change or refund tickets when your train gets cancelled which they regularly do

The app works which is always a good thing! Never have issues with the app and works as it should. My only gripe is they have removed the swap stations button on the main search page when you open the app which is a shame as I use this everyday as I only really travel between two stations, I like to use the single ticket option to check train times quickly without selecting time and date. You should implement a departure search page so can see what other trains are available at the stations.

Overall, I find the Train Line app to be quite user-friendly and convenient for booking train tickets. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to search for routes and purchase tickets. However, I have noticed a recurring issue that has become somewhat frustrating. Every time I check ticket prices on the app, I've observed that the prices seem to increase gradually. This might be due to the cookies tracking my activity on the app.

The button to switch the order of the From/To destinations has dissapeared on the search page. This little double arrow button was very useful. Please can you out it back asap! Thanks Mostly good app and easy to use. There's a recent bug which I've reported but no changes yet where the screen after buying a ticket is the same as just before buying, making someone think the transaction hasn't gone through. I've bought duplicate tickets twice due to this. Please fix.

Trainline seems to increase the price themselves. Return price went up from when I had checked it as a Single. Checked on an alternative site and it was still the £10 lower price - a £30 ticket. Trainline upped it to £40. Suspected this before so no longer trust. Won't be using again and used for years paying their £1 fee. Tried TrainPal instead (no fee) and it seems great! You don't be successful cheating your customers. Not many will know about this as they won't check prices as singles first

why does it keep crashing EVERY time you try to book a ticket? like every single time you book a ticket you need to accept that its gonna crash 10 times before you can book, every single time the booking fee goes up by another 3p, and then sometimes break at the pivotal point of paying, when it gives you a heart attack thinking you've paid and not got your tickets, so you need to enter your bank app manually as well?

I always have to go through the payment process atleast 4 times before I can purchase. I have tried restarting and redownloading. And I can never get refunds I am always denied even if it's before the journey. which is difficult if you do not always know if you will be traveling. On top of that customer service is often difficult to hear long winded and clunky. App also hasn't allowed me to directly add my railcard. all in all unreliable execution.

Deleted my 1 star review from last year so I can review again. This is only good for checking train times but it's literally impossible to book tickets, it just brings up an error message that says "well this is awkward". Yes it's up to date, I've deleted cookies, I've tried reinstalling. This is truly the most useless app, it was one purpose that so far it has failed spectacularly in for over a year.

Maybe good other places but not in Italy. Conditions stated we had an hour to change trains after original departure. We had a late train and ever time I clicked change the app errored out! Said I had to call support. The number provided was out of order! Horrible experience! No support. Luckily a local also missed and helped explain to local ticket station for us. We got a train that put us much later and had to pay more. Very poor experience with app here.

The old app is so much better. This one is less intuitive (especially adding saved passengers) and feels laggy. Engineers, replacing a great working native app by something similar to oui.sncf's horrible webview isn't the way to go. What makes trainline so great is the clean UI and lag-free experience. Sure, this web-based version will be easier to update but what's the point if you're giving up the main features?

Customer service doest appear to exist. I don't understand why this app has high reviews. It suggested the wrong station to purchase a ticket, highlighting it as the best option. Once purchased, it kept erroring out and wouldn't let me update the ticket to a new station or time, and then refused a refund. So I had to spend 3 times more on a first class ticket on short notice. Working as designed? You have to use Google to find out the actual station you need, so what's the point of this app?

This is a great app for buying rail tickets across multiple countries and managing your tickets, all in one place. They hide the difficulties of navigating web sites of varying quality and in assorted languages, and I have never had trouble using my US credit cards to buy tickets. They do charge a small fee for the service, in my experience from $1-$10 depending on the cost of your tickets, but I think it's worth it.

Very convenient. I was booking train tickets for a European trip through various sites, then realized it made much more sense to use only 1 site where it is easy to access all tickets. With trainline, I can cancel, change times, dates, etc. without having to hunt through a million different sites. They are carrier agnostic, so I can have all of my tickets in one place.
