Best charting platform available! It can be difficult to create drawings using a phone, but that is just due to a smaller screen and large fingers. I imagine this would work really well on a tablet and/or with a stylus. I think the app is well done, I have no issues, and it syncs seamlessly with TradingView accounts via cloud. Great interface too, nearly all the same features available on the desktop browser version. Highly recommend!

The functionality that the app has is great and works well. It is inherently difficult to display things like complex charts with multiple indicators on mobile, so I don't think there is much the devs can do about that. However, the app is also missing a lot of features that the desktop version has. The ones I am missing most are paper trading and the stock screener. It would be nice to have all or almost all of the features replicated on mobile.

Great app, use it daily. It would be useful to separate app settings from browser settings, for example give ability to default to a specific chart layout in the app rather than show the last one looked at in browser. And give ability to turn on dark mode for only the app. Also would be convenient to have the watchlist and search change orientation to landscape when phone is in that position, instead of only the chart.

This app sucks, and unfortunately it's still the best option for customized charts, what a shame. *My Response to TradingView* In short, it looks like the PC interface was copied and pasted into the app. First impression, good! Until you start using it and stuff doesn't work like it does on a PC. For example, on a PC when you zoom in on a chart, no problem, hit refresh, and it's back to normal. On the app everything looks the same, but you can't refresh the chart. No space, but stuff like that.

The app works great and is very responsive. I am very happy with my membership in tradingview in general, the website works great as well. The reason for the 4 stars is: an app for charting on a phone is used mostly in landscaping mode. The problem is that to enter a new symbol the app changes to portrait. Very weird and inconvenient. Please consider fixing this. Also please consider allowing access to the colored watchlists on the app. Allow to see the lists and to tag a symbol with a color.

The mobile app needs some optimization to account for reduced screen size. The app and service itself is excellent. Well worth the money. The tablet app, of course, is easier to use because of the increased screen real estate. Could use a tutorial for features, gestures, and how to navigate the app. For example, I have no idea how to find my alerts in this thing.

Mobile app ruined with new layout. The new layout requires multiple steps to accomplish simple and frequently accessed functionality that used to be accomplished with a single tap. What a bummer. Edit: to their canned response, no, I tried the new interface and it does not get better. Fortunately I was able to recover an old version of the app from a backup. If they block this version, I may need to find a new charting platform.

The new UI layout that was introduced is terrible and makes changing chart time frames, accessing tools, and adding drawings so much more difficult and time consuming. Now the option to revert back to the classic UI has been totally removed. I've tried getting use to it, but no amount of familiarity is going to overcome the clunkiness. This layout was totally overthought. There's no way the team that designed it actually uses this app on a daily basis. If the did, they would've realized it's bad

Trading View removed the option of having the old user interface, which is a problem because it makes using their new version slower and harder to use. There use to be a sliding switch in settings that allowed users to pick between a simpler and minimalist interface, and then the standard desktop interface. Makes 0 sense to remove the option, especially when people are paying a couple hundred dollars to RENT the features on this app per year. The people who made this decision are out of touch.

EDIT: Devs say to "give it a chance". I will admit, yes, there are SOME aspects to the new UI that I like, such as the scroll wheel. However, this is where it ends. It will never be "handier" as they put it, when I have to click 3 things just to change the chart type, or make quick drawings and swap indicators etc. PLEASE give us back the option to use classic view. Idk why the new UI is being "force tested" like this. I'm to the point now where I'm looking for new charting apps to replace TV.

Genuinely one of the worst apps I've ever tried to use. I have to fix some settings EVERY SINGLE TIME I open the app. NOTHING about this app is intuitive. You have to hunt for five minutes to find every single setting you want to change, because all of the settings are in a different place. Plus, every single time I switch my device theme I have to go back into settings and toggle the app theme twice so it resets and follows my device them on the chart. Support has ignored me multiple times now.

Has really gone down hill the last few weeks. You can't even see the charts half of the time. Just doesn't even pop up and leaves you staring at a blank chart. Used to work flawlessly all the time. Now they are trying to penny pinch and their most basic feature, the chart, doesn't even work consistently. Greed kills again. More frustrating than useful for now.

Great charting app everything works flawless. But customer service doesn't exist unless you're a high paying upgraded member. As an upgraded member myself, I was faced with an issue that kept me from logging in and because I could not log into my account and reaching them was completely impossible. They don't have a number I could find to call them and when you click on the help you get flooded with nonsense pre-written exemples that don't cover your issue. So I had to create a new account

I'm a premium member, and it truly is worth it. My only nitpick is with the phone app. -when a pre-saved chart is loaded, if I switch symbols to look at something else, my saved chart is now the most recent symbol I looked at and I often have to go and change everything back. SUPER annoying. PLEASE.....pre and post hours have been terrible lately, and not even close. Very unreliable. Sometimes doesn't even come up. Paying a lot for features that should be there, that aren't. Needs fixing.

I love this app more and more everyday. I do wish there was a $5 tier, I'd jump on that to get rid of ads and maybe another watchlist or two but $17 is a little steep for a lot of things I wouldn't use. Free gives me everything I need right now (don't use that as an excuse to take things away please). Def would upgrade in the future if I found I needed or wanted to try them. Very mobile friendly marking up charts. Please consider a smaller Tier, less features, less dollars.

Getting tired of updates moving icons and layout settings/options around. This happens on web version as well. I submitted a ticket about the log chart icon disappearing and they actually brought it back which was amazing.. now it's gone again.. edit 5/8/24 TV Mobile has been better lately but the Web interface keeps getting changed.. The user interaction with my ticker lists has recently changed from nice drop down to a popup box.. super annoying small problems for a super awesome platform.

Great to have access to charts in a more functional form than going through a mobile browser. Really needs a manual refresh button though. Recent update makes it where I have to click multiple times to get the real chart instead of once. Now first click goes to line chat. No good TV, I don't come here for simple lines. Update: TV responded quickly and told me how to fix this. Back to 5*

Update - the latest response is what I was looking for, thanks! Recent update - click on a watchlist symbol, and a one month line chart opens. Then I have to click on the maximize on the far right to get to my saved layout with candles and indicators. Why did this change? Really annoying Response is that it's a "quick overview"? What is this, yahoo finance? No one uses this app for that... It's a charting tool, stick with what you do good. Please change it or make it a setting choice.

Loved TradingView for the past year now, however the latest update has rendered the app almost entirely unusable. If the UI changes aren't made to be more customizable or reverted to an older style of interface I might not continue to be a member anymore. Hopefully we can see some shifts towards custom interfaces so everyone can fine tune their display how they'd like.

Economic calendar is great, but the app is remarkably clunky. Charting in the app is terrible - they should really take a note out of webull's book for how to bring smooth charting on mobile device. Also, they really need to add algo flow charts. I was going to buy premium but the charting is just unbearable...I strictly use free version for economic calendar. Watchlists are also clunky. Just not worth paying for if you mainly use on phone.
