This app lost its usefulness since i can no longer log into the same account as my desktop. It's primary use for me was as a backup when the desktop crashed, lost connection, etc, and also to monitor positions when i was away from my desk. Those capabilities were lost with the unique login policy so I rarely use this now.

This app keeps nagging me to rate so here it is- slow , clunky, and bad ux. How about not interrupting people with unnecessary popups? Added to that, it constantly logs you out or fail to update charts. I also hate that it forces you to constantly do 2 factor authentication despite logging into the same network with the same device over and over again.

Outdated and poorly laid out, the app just isn't what you would expect to see. Even the desktop platform, while years ago was great, both have fallen behind by basically being a dumbed down version of tradingview. Tradestation has become a dinosaur with outdated software and poor customer service. I left due to the customer service 8 years ago, thought I'd try again with the new pricing structure but I'm now closing the account before it's even funded.

So, I created an account, refused margin, and was expecting at least level 2 options trading to dispose of my own assets as I see fit. Instead, I get level 1. I want to explore the app, so I log into the simulator for a little fun and test run, pull up AMD and start tracking a downtrend into range below OPEN. I go long on 1000 units. The app is crashing left and right the entire time, and as of 12:40 CST it crashes every time I attempt to view a quote screen. This is trash. No sale.

Update 9/7/23: went from usable to unusable. Everything is hardcoded and limited in the app: * can't see more than today's orders * can't change the automatic timeout hardcoded to a couple of minutes * very frequent crashes * sometimes after a crash the app is stock with a dead window over the login botton. The only way to be able to login again is to reboot phone or reinstall app (killing the app won't work) * the account balances shown are not correct

Its good in a pinch, but the desktop has the features required to trade effectively. All the studies use the same 2 colors of lines (teal and Red) so a keltner channel, bollinger bands, and a 2x moving avg is a garbled mess of teal and red threads. The indicators are worthless and almost unusa. Simple change would gather 2 more stars. 1 more star would be free panning. An up/down trend jams itself in the corner of your screen. Looking ahead is impossible.

I periodically try out new online brokerages to see if anything really impressive is out there and so far, out of a dozen I've tried, TradeStation is certainly the worst online brokerage I've encountered. Between clunky functionality, a general lack of transparency, and a bevy of fees ("there's this fee, and this fee, and then this fee") it's perhaps not surprising that they also have to make the process of closing accounts as byzantine and time-consuming as possible. Best left in the "station."

This is one of the best mobile/smartphone trading applications I have seen. When I need to see or do things (values, prices, simple charts, orders, etc) regarding my Trade Station account or options/futures/futures-options/etc positions when I'm on the run this application works wonderfully. (Plus it looks and acts great, like the desktop application, but hey...)

It is alright. Could be much better.. Why no fingerprint ID to log in for Android? Why no definable default offsets for stop & target? Why no bracket order entry for the matrix? Too bad they took away the option to be logged into app and desktop platform at the same time. Sometimes alerts are quick, other times it can take a while. And many more things..

Glitchy at the worst times. I was in a trade and my stop loss disappeared. Very critical for risk management! The only way I got it back was to exit the app and open it again. It would be nice to have the bracket order as a default since I never trade without an exit and target price. When you change from a buy to sell order it changes your manually entered price to the current one so I end up accidentally entering at a horrible price. I hope there will be improvements in the next update.

It crashes constantly. Since I added what is below, Anthony Coreas contacted me to fix it, it still doesn't work....It SUCKS! You can't trust it to trade from your phone. Go with another trading platform. Ameritrade works great. Balances are often messed up....the charts scale on their own, based on the last visible high and low bars.... I changed my rating from 4 to 1 because the app constantly crashes on my galaxy 20. It also crashed frequently on my galaxy 9. It has become useless.

This is the slick mobile application from tradestation. I guess the intention is to use this to trade securities. However it could definitely be so much better in that regard. It is slick, as I said. It looks great but when you actually start using it, you realize how limited it really is. It has a chart feature but it auto-zooms. If your order is off-screen, you just get a note on the chart. You can't scroll up or down (which is more frustrating than it sounds). Worse, if your order fills and closes out, it does not appear on the chart at all. The only clue you have is to hunt through your order history or look at the balances screen which gives an overall total. This is much more painful than it sounds, especially if you just want a quick update to know how much you just made or lost (like if you have a trail set on your security). The app definitely lacks simple basic usability features. As a trader, I want to know my percentage gain or loss, not the gain for the security since market open. I want my profit data, where I entered and an idea of how close I am to my exit target. For this, the app gets only 1 star. The app definitely looks slick and polished, but it's very buggy and cumbersome to use. It was definitely not designed by a Trader. Overall, 2 to 3 stars.

Terrible! I tried to switch from td to TS, at first it wasn't so bad, charts looked a bit ugly but you can get used to it. What really gets me is you can only be logged in through your app OR pc, you cant be on both. This is extremely important because on desktop platform, theres so many screens you have to go through to get options loaded like on TD. On TD its two clicks and its loaded, TS, you have to hunt and remember how to get it. Orders vanish from visibility, positions disappear.. bad

Honestly, it has become one of my favorite apps to trade options on, but had to dock a few stars for their customer service. I had an issue with them to which I received 3 conflicting responses today, extremely frustrating. As well on a previous call with customer service I was told I might be called back, but I probably wouldn't be because the representative said they would likely forget to do so. Their responses were at least timely, but lacked competency.

Desktop program is highly advanced, but missing things. It's really annoying that the tools don't snap together within it, but they actually load up in the same place every time so I guess I can overlook it. The mobile app is truly hideous. Nowadays many brokerages allow you to have the same indicators and chart styles across desktop and mobile platforms. I can't have more than one exponential moving average on my charts with this app. Guys, you have an epic desktop platform. Fix this app ASAP.

Black screen when opening the app. Seems like others are experiencing the same issue. It was working great like usual the day before... Edit: Uninstalling and reinstalling resolved the issue for me...also noticed that you have to do 2 factor authentication everytime when logging in. It's annoying. ----2nd edit: It's super annoying now when opening the application. It takes you to the browser on the phone to sign in before signing on the app. Went from 5 stars to 3 to 1....

I like the options chart feature. Thank you. Update - Great app. Clean and smooth UI. One thing I don't like is after authenticate shield 2FA is complete it directs to the desktop web page and not the app. It's recently not been doing that. But when it does I have to clitch navigate away and back to the mobile app. A little buggy log in but still giving a high rating.

Redesign looks great! Some feedback: *Bottom axis indicator name takes up a lot of space that it's graph could be using. Consider making it a watermark or something instead. * Showing filled orders on the graph doesn't seem to work for 1m and 5m charts. * The bottom bar is very close to the trade confirmation button and will pull you out of your trade if you accidentally press it Security concern: if you exit the app without authenticating, the next time you open it, it will let you in w/o auth

Wow what I would give to have the old app back. The screens that were simple they have made busy. The font shrunk in half. The shading is opposite of the old app. This is the worst update ever. It is bad enough thinking of moving my accounts. Edit... this app just keeps getting worse with every update. Wish I could be logged in with the app and the computer.

The old app was absolutely brilliant! However the updated supposedly more modern version is a total disaster. You cannot read the symbols very well because there is a half shown description underneath it in white that just muddies up the screen. We know our symbols we do not need the description. Then when you try to read what price your symbol is trading at you get lost into jumble of numbers it's really hard to track to the right. The font is way too small for old people. And more.
