Been a customer for years but felt compelled to leave a negative review today. I keep getting a response failure on the log-in page. Tried adding email, phone number and even activating my phone (again) in the hope that I can simply view my dashboard. It worked fine in the past. Others seem to be having the same issue so clearly there must have been some sort of update recently. The developers need to fix the bug asap.

ZERO STARS!!! I find this app to be difficult to navigate. For years I rarely used it because prior to this past couple of months I never really had an issue but over the past couple months I've been dealing with Mobile Data issues and I'll be damned if I can get this resolved whether through the app or on the phone! I believe I'm owed money! I've paid for Mobile Data and therefore expect to be able to access it when out of wifi range! So disappointed!!!

Long time TracFone user. Always loved it for pricing and ease of use, but the latest app update has made buying add-ons and refills impossible. Had to find a desktop PC and log in from there just to add data. The app is also super slow to update time/data used/available. The inconvenience this has caused has made me consider if it would be better just to switch to a different service.

June 2022 - app won't let me log in. It keeps saying my fingerprint is invalid. I tried with the email address and it said invalid response before I could even enter a password. The widget almost never updates on its own. It's only gotten worse since Verizon bought it. I've uninstall and reinstalled several times. No luck. Also, I used to get an email when one of the phones I manage was up for auto-refill and the amount. Nothing from the June 1 refill. Not good practices.

For about 7+ years now I have been a Tracfone user with very little to no problems, however as of a month ago, I can't get on my account, or see my minutes or data or anything, use this phone for personnel and also work, now I tried uninstalling and installing for several weeks now and I keep getting the same message when I try to login "Something went wrong, response failure." I really don't want to switch services, but if this keeps up, I may have no choice, can you guys please fix this!

Less disappointing than it used to be. Doesn't automatically update the totals with usage. The updates have to be manually triggered and even then don't always update the widget values. Still better than nothing since the new phones don't show account totals by default like the old ones. The newest widget resize prevents being able to see the last update date/time.

Has a Response Failure issue when trying to log in. None of the options work. I tried clearing data, cache, cache partition in the recovery menu, uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nothing worked. It must be server side or the app has the wrong communication settings, I think. Not sure what else, especially since I'm not the only one having the problem.

Here's their latest error message: "SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG. Message Failure": Constantly malfunctions; more often than not. This has been true for years. No updates have helped. Each new version just introduces a new series of errors, delays, confusions. Terrible technical writing; unbelievably bad programming. Often it takes a half hour and a dozen tries to get through.

Something seriously wrong with the most recent update. Was initially logged in with access. Upon re-opening after instalation of update any attempt to navigate repeatedly post an "Error" message with an option to "Log Off" After logging off, my sign in information are both rejected. The app has only improved over time and has been working perfectly until now. Yes, I anticipate you will fix it.

The app has had its glitches (most notably an inability to update the data, text, and minutes balances) but uninstalling and reinstalling, as suggested by the company, seemed to fix it. I really like being able to add data and texts on the fly. Overall, pleased with the service!

The app always seems to have troubles. Once in the past it would refuse to run without location data. That is finally fixed, but now it crashes if you use finferprint login (which it began prompting on its own.) Info like how much data you have left (which it should provide without a login IMO) often has to be manually updated multiple times to get it to show the current stats. And then features it should have (like voicemail management) are still lacking.

The widget does not work at all. The talk, text and data are not updated automatically and neither when the update is done manually. The size of the widget and the text within is not properly displayed. No QA done at all. Give us back the old app. Update. 10/31/18 the updated app just hangs and doesn't work.

I've been a TracFone customer since 2005. Throughout the years I've had various issues with the service from activation to apps buying minutes and data. But I've stayed with TracFone because it's cheap. Can't beat the ease and simplicity of it all. $20 minimum for x number of minutes and data. $10 dollars minimum for just data. Nice. But now I want to use my laptop more; I want a secure connection. (tethering) This is the one thing TracFone falls short in. So I'm switching to TMobile.

When I first installed the application a few months ago, it worked perfectly. Loved being able to get the balance on my account. About three months ago that changed, can not get my account balance unless I go to the website. I have reinstalled the application, same thing, no balance to show. It is a waste of my phone space to keep this app.

Unreliable at best. This app has trouble keeping itself logged in to the users account and even more trouble logging in. Regardless of whether it is logged in, it frequently fails to keep information about the phone it is installed on up to date. Not entirely useless, but almost. As of the most recent update, the widget is not only completely useless, it is no longer available on my phone. I have dropped my rating to one star in response.

Can no longer get minutes, data, or text messages remaining with latest version. Simply continue to get a message that the operation is taking longer than expected and to try again later. Have restarted, cleared data, etc. multiple times over several days and nothing had worked. Update: released new version that worked for a few days, but stopped working a few days later and still isn't working. Horrible app developers.

After years of using the app with no issues, it has suddenly stopped working. It keeps asking me to activate my account to access the dashboard. I tried to enter the requested information, but then I got a message saying there was a problem and the request couldn't be filled. Tried several times, same result. Can't login at all. Uninstalling it. Also, the developer responses are all exactly the same automated response. Is anyone even reading these reviews or keeping track of the issues?

Disappointing experience. Interface doesn't match most other Android apps. No way to manually force a refresh of tank info, so it always seems to show old numbers even after a purchase. Frequent problems with credit card transactions when logged into account. Widget takes up way too much space and got even bigger this last update. I really wish they would fix these problems and add useful features to the app, such as notifications when tank is getting low so there are no surprises.

Do not get Tracfone or this app! The service is terrible and there are comparable plans for lower prices although the cheap as dirt plan I've had is hard to find. The interface looks like it's from the 90s and is impossible to navigate. I have no internet or MMS messages and texts get randomly broken up and put in the wrong order. I rarely have strong enough service to send or receive text messages. Save your money, time, and space. Find somewhere else

Having the same log in failure issues as several other folks. Have tried uninstall/reinstall several times. Also, tried log in using phone#, e-mail, Sim id, etc. Nothing works. I've been using this app for several years and it's always worked great. Please help. Update: Thank you Frank, I don't know what you did but, the app is back up and running.
