Good app, my only complaint (and I'm not alone) is the constant notification that says "ready to connect" That needs to have option to turn that off without completely turning off all the notification for that app. Everything else works fine, but, from what I've gathered, not very many people, if any, need to have that constantly pop up.

Complete dumpster fire of an app. The experience with this app has convinced me that Toyota vehicles are not a viable purchase. Does not read VIN scans correctly, swapping random characters. This happened all 6 attempts, both in the door frame and windshield. Why 6 attempts? Because adding a vehicle crashes every time. Several vehicle settings (including reset) are disabled when a profile is added or partially added to the car. An annoying guest mode message pops up during every start.

2024 Updated review: Still shocked that this is a Toyota product and still complete garbage they actually make you pay for. Can't believe there is a worse app than Volvo, but Toyota takes the top spot. It's that bad. Sometimes it decides not to work at all. Navigation is clunky and needs to be modernized and the recent updates somehow made it WORSE But beyond that it's constantly crashing (Android) and services are frequently missing or buggy. Start over.

Very inconvenient. This does NOT stay signed in on my phone, even with the "stay signed in" box checked. You have to manually sign in every couple days. This makes the quick app on my smartwatch (for remote start, etc.) completely pointless because it will always say "log in on your phone to continue" which defeats the purpose of having the quick and easy to access app on your watch.

After buying my Toyota and only getting one key I wanted to use this app to have a second digital car key. The app experience makes me regret buying a Toyota. If the software here is so bad I bet the one in the car is equally bad but I don't have access to the system and can't check. The app consumes Gigabytes of memory, making other apps slow and draining the phones memory very fast. You can only have one phone be the digital key, really? Constant notification, searching for car.

This app is a joke. The credentials are never saved, it ALWAYS prompts me to re enter, and they're almost never valid. I find myself constantly running through the "Forgot password" sequence. Currently, none of my vehicle statuses appear, and the image I chose is gone. It serves no purpose. Toyota.... just admit defeat and retire the damn app!

It's awesome to have access to all the information that the app gives you. The new version has hidden the service history under "Make an Appointment". I love that you can make your own service entries, however be careful not to put a comma in the service provider field. The app will throw a 400 bad request error. The developers did a poor job of encoding their data during transmission.

Not impressed. I have an older tacoma (2019), and I had the EnTune app that app is no longer supported, so I downloaded this new app, and it does not work with my infotainment system at all. Not that Entune was worth anything, but it at least did some things. I basically have a dead brick infotainment system, which is only a step down from what it was when I bought it.

Does not work. I have an owners account, I gave the app all permissions and tracking room despite not being comfortable with that. I followed the steps to make sure I'm eligible and I am. I contacted support numerous times, they still haven't even responded to my last email. Frustrating. Also, why does my car say I have to get a Verizon internet subscription to be able to use it???

* Status of doors, locked or unlocked, is unreliable. Anywhere in the world, it is necessary to return to the vehicle to make sure doors are locked - even parked at an airport and through TSA security. What's the point of this feature? * When working, the app does not indicate which doors are unlocked, as the dashboard does. * There is no connection with cameras and motion detectors to sound an alarm, snap a pic of a potential intruder, and notify the app. * Vehicle does rate a five.

So one day, I get a notification from the app, "Looking for your car" WHAT?!?! So I tap it for it, nothing but brings me to the landing screen. I then ran outside to see if it was still parked where I left it. 1 star! Upgraded app reset my dark background. Status tab says last update was over 1wk ago and the refresh takes forever, never actually finishing. Broken app.

This is app is completely unreliable. I had an issue where it was constantly attempting to pair, even when it was seemingly paired. I had the dealer look at it, and they said they have never seen such a thing and they blamed my device. I have an android. After they did something behind the scenes, the app worked for a total of maybe a week. Now, I can't even get the app to open. We just spent a ton of money on this vehicle, I should be able to use all of the features, but this app is unusable.

Application is useless. You can turn on the car from a distance but you can't alter the temperature of the air conditioning or heat in the application. You can lock and unlock the car from a distance, but sometimes this fails. There is no map software despite the button being on my dash and conversations with the dealership and Toyota's customer care service. This app is only a worthwhile application if you lose your keys constantly.

There's nothing you can really do with this app You'd think it'd have useful features like locate my car (parking), or get notifications from your phone if your car has a window left open or a door unlocked or ANYTHING useful like a free feature that tells you if your car needs an oil change soon or something. Nah. Seems like a big ol waste of space to me. This app is basically just to slowly reel you into entering a dealership.

**Let's try this one more time! In my car my 2019 rav4 le, EnTune is dl, that app does not work for my car anymore and was told to download the Toyota app. The app does not connect to my car my car still says EnTune.I can't use the navigation system everything is grayed out my contacts drop my phone is connected Bluetooth. only thing I can do is answer a call. Won't save my favorites on the screen, no map works. Only benefit I get is the back up camera and radio. Huge waste of money!!!

At 1st it was great. Now it's awful. I use to get accurate updates and notifcations. now it won't show me where my car is at from last shut off. And this app won't show/notify me on updates when car windows or doors are opened/closed. The manage subscriptions also no longer works. It no longer opens or show me anything. My battery on s22 ultra drains super fast now. So far it seems to be good on unlocking and a hit or miss with locking through the app. This app needs big updates ASAP.

Very buggy It asks me to set the same permissions every time I open the app, even though I grant it permissions every time. It also starts a persistent notification on my phone that I can't dismiss. If I turn notifications off then it won't connect to my car. Edit: somehow got even worse. A whole section of the app is broken and doesn't work at all.

Definitely could use some work... For example, all permissions are allowed but it won't let me load an account photo because the app doesn't have the appropriate permissions to access files. It took several attempts to appropriately get accounts created and connected to our new car on two separate phones - not an intuitive experience. It's still not totally clear how to get a digital key downloaded but we've mostly just given up on that.

Also, why is it constantly trying to run in the background? Continues to look for the parked car that's less then 50 feet away from me. Doesn't work right at all. Constantly signs me out regardless of selecting Stay Signed-in. Constantly doesn't start due to internal app issues. I'm guessing adding a walk away lock to the car is also too hard for the company haha 6-4-24 Today I noticed it is killing my battery by running in the background. All. The. Time. This app needs work

Nearly useless, I feel nickel-and-dimed! The app is quite slow, takes a while to connect. While we like the security of logging in each time, it takes significantly longer than any other app which requires security (think:, banking). There really isn't much you can do on the app. I'd expect a bit more in terms of features. There are groups of features, after the first year it'll cost $8/months for EACH feature!! If the app was amazing, I'd think about it. This was a big letdown.
