Would be a better game if it weren't pay to play very fast. Once you reach 4000 trophies it's close to impossible to compete without consistent spending. The cards don't level up on a exp basis but by getting the amount needed to level up. When you need 200- 400 elites to level up 1 level and your opponents are 2 levels higher the game is never gonna be in your favor. I try to play for free and slow stroll it but it looks like it'll only get worst

played for a long time. if you get anywhere later the game it'll just be pay to win. I run a group with a level 9/10/12. I regularly go against people with all level 14/15. you'll be on a three-game losing streak and get matched against someone higher rank than you. i purchased the season pass before and all of a sudden you start getting. matched against lower rank people. if you are good at this game you will be rewarded with fighting people that have an overwhelming advantage. your reply is BS

The game play is ridiculous. I will have 2-4 more towers than the opponent and have twice the amount of men. And yet I'll still end up losing, even when our unit levels are the same. I'll even be using better units than them and lose. They say they match you based on trophies, yet I'll continually be matched with someone who has 400+ more trophies than myself. I want to like this game, but as it stands, this game is more frustrating than fun now.

This game started off great, but now I have constant problems. The game keeps loosing connection and battles are lost without starting. I've lost 1000+ gems in daily challenges and have emailed them about problems at least 20+ times. They keep saying it's fixed, but never is. I've asked for compensation for all my lost gems due to the in game error and all they sat back is "try to download the new version, cheers" I responded with "I already have the new version", then they do nothing. Terrible

This app is loaded with bots but developers continue to lie and deny the facts. Beyond all the bugs and glitches the game is no longer worth playing. The answer they always give are matches are based on trophies accumulated. I'm a level six and every time I get matched with no less than a level ten for every match. I'm fed up with the excuses and lack of acknowledgement that their game has multiple issues. STAY AWAY unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars to be able to compete.

Frankly the move troops between towers that pretty much everyone does now to stockpile a huge amount of troops is just stupid. It takes all of the fun out of the game when your opponent starts and your choice is to either lose, or flick your finger back and forth to do the same thing. It takes a fun strategy game and turns it into moving troops back and forth. The fact that towers will keep producing troops because your troops are running around the battlefield is just stupid.

Liked this game until it gave me a connection error trying to enter a battle. Nothing I did fixed this issue...in turn, I lost 2 battles worth of stars. Seems like you're always matched with opponents at an extremely higher level than you. Daily challenges aren't worth it because it's so mismatched. Single player mode is limited. Can't open up new levels until you have enough stars which makes it almost impossible because of mismatched battles. Uninstalled.

Yeah I tried this game a lot. It really seems pay to win a lot more. I like the unit idea but it's really unbalanced the higher you go up. If all were as easy to get it be easier but just seems like you have to pay to get these gold units that are very powerful. Was up to rank 3200 and it's just fustrating not being able to do anything because of there build and it's not like you can change your build during a battle.

Good tower games rely on what you do in the map to determine whether you win or lose. In this game, you'll do fine for the first little while, until they decide they want you to start paying them, and then you'll find that unless you either shell out money or grind by playing the game hours a day for the next year, you're not going to be able to upgrade your units enough to advance. The interface is clumsy and restricting, and maps restrict you from upgrading where you want to.

Game play is decent. Their matching system needs some rework for play. After you get a certain level, you might as we quit playing or get ready to pay for upgrades. Out of 100 matches, I was matched with higher level 85 times. Just started to quit each level instead of trying..you can win but it gets too difficult to enjoy. Be better, if you quit within few secs, to not punish as much especially when you are at 7s going against 10s. They need more campaigns..art of war has just as many.

I downloaded because I thought it was more of the expedition type levels from art of war. Turns out its just capture the flag. Super boring after a while. Also very little to it. Why didn't they just add the expedition levels but in a way that you can keep playing them, like maybe all the other super successful casual game models work. It's not like they have reinvent just add it in for more options of game play.

The matchmaking is absolutely garbage. Be prepared to get matched with players who double your level and also double your troops upgrades. They claim it's based on "trophies" but that's a complete lie and also a great way for people to cheat. Horrible connection issues where you can watch your enemy attack you but you can't command your troops. Honestly don't waste your time on this game it belongs in the trash.

Terrible game with no way to determine why you win or lose. As a level 15 (4000+ trophies) I shouldn't be matched up against level 9s, much less get smoked by them. I use to believe it was random, but as one of the top players in my league I have lost 20 out of 30 games in the last 24 hours (just lost six in a row). When I lose, my opponents spawn at a rate 3x faster than me, regardless of their level or trophies. I have tried multiple combinations of characters. Supremely awful and frustrating.

I downloaded this thinking it was just the expedition mode from art of war, but they added a bunch of rules and stuff that makes it less fun. I want to win by capturing all towers, not by only capturing the "master tower" (towers with shields is a good concept tho). If there needs to be, I'd prefer more than 3 types of towers instead of having to choose troops for each tower, the current setup is just a layer of complexity that I don't care for.

Great idea and concept, a lot of fun as well and enjoyed playing it for months, I deleted it and will never play again after the one main problem with the game. Their is no ranking or order in the battles, they just match you with people that have been playing way longer than you, who have and are themselves high levels. Meaning that when ever you get close to a trophy goal, you'll get ranked with people who will just destroy you and prevent you from leveling up. Even with smart matching the gam

Fun, addicting game. 3 issues; the ridiculous game mechanic where players run back and forth between towers to increase troop population, and then win by overwhelming numerical superiority. It's incredibly boring to play that way, but you have to if you want to compete. Pay to win. Yep, it's necessary to enjoy the game past intermediate levels. There is just no way to get the best cards without it. The zerg. It would be nice to encourage other tactics. Most battles are now just a race.

I like the game a lot! However, there is a fatal issue: the battle does not start at exactly the same time for both players - probably due to difference in network latency. Even though it is just a few seconds, it is key to victory. I got this conclusion by reviewing quite of my past battles - in most losses, I only start at 5:50-5:52, way after my opponent; no wonder I lost. Then I turned on VPN, and found I normally start at 5:57 - 5:58, and my winning rate is highly improved. I think you should develop a hand-shake protocol - when batten is about to begin, both players have to click "start". When both sides do so, battle starts. If one side fail to click "start" for a few seconds, then an automatic loss.

This was part of Art of War's Expedition Mode (and the only reason I still had that game). I see to replay those levels constantly. Still learning the different characters and what not, but this game is super addicting. Update: 5/21/2021. Only issue I have is with matching. I'm always drawing opponents with toys 2 levels higher than me. Kinda sucks the fun out. Update: Why add wooden chests with worse supplies and take away the ability to queue opening them?

Just keep playing. The longer you play the better. Don't level up too fast. Learn as you go or you will just get beat. Play a variety of troops to learn their behavior. If you only play 3 troops, you will level up fast. Then of you try other troops they won't be leveled up and you'll always lose. This game is about VARIETY. The variety is so great that every game can't be perfectly balanced. If you gat an unbalanced game, jut move on to the next one. Games are short!

I love the game but whenever you get to a higher rank they knock you down multiple levels. Kind of no point to keep playing if you can't advance. Alsow when you get to higher rank. I get matched with people 20 levels above me. It's a challenge but. I know it's a losing battle. Love the game but garbage app. I Have to download another app to report an issue?
