. Pros: 1-So much fun 2-easy to use 3-a lot of filters and options after you've "toon'd" yourself that almost all seem to work well. 4-You can edit the part of the face that you want it to use for different things; you can edit backgrounds 5-You can use a pre-toon'd photo to make another toon photo, so that's kinda cool. 6-Often, you'll have an opportunity to "try" a given pro filter by watching a video, but you never HAVE to watch ads if you don't want to. . Pro/Con: You can make gifs out of your photos, which is a pro because I think it's a cool idea in theory, but a con because it usually does not look too great at the end... Understandably, I suppose, since the gif has to move a part of a stationary pic and guess what that movement should look like on the facial muscles, etc. So I have actually tried it on about 75 different photos and didn't like it on any of them, unfortunately. . Cons: 1-sometimes struggles to "find the face" even when the face is obvious and centered in the picture (I find this to be especially true of [A]-people with softer features without hard lines or [B]-people who are heavy or babies who have too much fat around the jawline and in the cheeks). . 2-I don't like that I can't just use the filters without "tooning" myself. Often, I think, "What if I could just take this original picture and "toon" it myself with these filters, rather than being forced into a AI preset." The AI presets often end up looking just a little bit off, and I have to try a dozen before I find the one I like. Unfortunately, you are forced to start there and are unable to just work on a picture yourself, tooning it your own way with the apps features, filters, and editing options. . To Developers: Please let us use the cool filters and edits on regular pictures instead of making them only available after someone has been toon'd. I'd definitely go pro then. I was going to go with 5 stars originally, but the more I use this app, the more I realize that this one little thing bothers me too much and the less I use it because of this. I'd love to just use the tabs like "customizable effects, smart filters, makeover, double exposure, sketch and draw, new reality, etc" just on regular photos. Otherwise, thanks for a great app, devs! Good work.

Doesn't pick up darker skin tones... This reply still doesn't answer why it turned me into a white woman. The lighting in the original portrait still shows my actual skin color, so it doesn't make sense that the cartoon version lightens my skin 10x, it doesn't even reflect what I look like anymore. Maybe you guys need to update your data set to include other skin tones for your algorithm to pick up. The hair was fairly accurate though I'll say that.

Very good app, but... You can only edit photos that have a human face in them. I would like to be able to edit pictures of my pets, or pictures of flowers and landscapes, etc. I also don't like that you can not just upload a photo and play with filters. You have to upload with an effect already added. Please work on letting paid users being able to edit any type of photo. Thank you.

I'm blown away by the 3D cartoon effect. I can't resist trying the other effects as well, which achieve what I expect. Had a family gathering where we had fun just toonifying each other for a while. Some of the 2D effects trip up on beards (creates bald patches), but this is fixed by trying a few different photos. This may be my fault for having bad lighting. Even so, bearded selfies work most of the time. Nifty use of AI; thanks for the app!

Best toon app I've ever used. Definitely worth buying the premium package. I use this everyday. Tons of filters and backgrounds. My only issue is that on certain filters it zooms in. If the original pic is of a full body that it stays that way instead of turning into a close-up on certain filters. Other than that I absolutely love this app. I was looking for something like this for years.

This is...kind of terrible. At least two of the toon filters change the eye color in the photo, many or most of them are not flattering, and if you are wearing a hood or a hat in the photo the program does not recognize it and tries to blend it into your head or make it your hair. The photo retrieval process is long and makes it impossible to queue up photos. It would be easier if the program would allow uploading 3-4 photos, then filtering.

I understand the need to generate revenue, but I couldn't even try the app. Every click prompted a new ad I was supposed to wait on. This is unreasonable to assume my time is worth nothing more than exposing me to another developer trying to generate revenue for themselves. Rude at the least. This was an app? II thought it was just a continuous string of unsolicited ads. HORRIBLE.

Very limited without paying for Premium. You, me and everyone else are getting the same images, just with different angles. Facial hair, eye, nose and mouth shape, hairstyle, none of it seems to matter much. The apps basically racist, it judges everyone on their skin tone. Seriously though, it seems to be the main factor. Lots of males end up looking like females as well. Very few filters that seem to be unique. Premium does offer a lot more options though.

A fun toy. The 3D Disney filter exceeds expectations, and I am truly impressed by it. None of the other filters are particularly great, but that's okay. My biggest peeve is that, just a day after downloading it, the app has stopped letting me filter photos, and only lets me use the feed. No indication is given why this is, or if and when I can expect the filter function to work again. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the app if it doesn't work reliably.

Probably the best cartoon app out there. At least the cartoons look like the person from the photo (some other apps that I tried the cartoons don't even look like the person). Obviously the programmer needs to make money to continue providing and updating the app which they do through advertising which frankly is a bit obtrusive but that's just the breaks. If you want to skip the advertising, you have to pay a rather large, in my mind annual fee. Not quite worth it so I just put up with the ads.

I wouldn't even give it one star but it makes you give something. App is absolutely terrible. The cartoon version of "you" looks nothing like your original picture. Makes a completely different picture that looks nothing like you and it even made me a different race. Appears to have a "base" selection of pictures already and it just chooses what "appears" to match the best. Not even worth it if free. Downloaded and subscribed then canceled subscription and uninstalled all in under 5 min.

I got 1 neat picture I liked, but the rest were just kinda messy. I can see this being pretty good with a bit more tweaking, but still not the kind of app you'd own for more than a week, at most. Edit: developer asked for the specific problem. To clarify, I simply mean that the AI struggles with certain aspects of the face, such as face shape, color detail, and clothing, such as hats. These things come with time when it comes to AI, so I can see it being pretty good in the future.

You've got a lot of work to do!! I lived the free version of the app. All worked smoothly and I got some really fun results. I wanted to get rid of the thumbnails in the lower left corner and assumed that going "pro" would allow me to do that. Well, I was wrong. Not only do the thumbnails stay but the "pro" filters are full of unwanted and unneeded overlays, such as frames, sparkes and stickers. There was actually less flexibility in the pro section than in the free. Running out of words...

Quite fun, entertained me for a while. There are a lot of options, from cartoon to sticker to illustrative, but they are not tagged, categorized, or themed, so it gets overwhelming. On top of that, maybe filters are very similar. I'd like to see the options be searchable, maybe taggable, to distinguish styles. Stickers are hidden inside selections. Enjoy this app but don't go in expecting to get a specific look or you'll be frustrated. It's more of an exploration.

Very cool. There are two annoying features. One, the Disney effect includes an inset of the original picture. This limits it's usefulness if just the effect is wanted. It also the in the way of animation effects. At least, provide the option of removing it. Two, the basic effects should be clearly displayed and denoted at the beginning of the all effects before the variations and examples are displayed.

This is a cute, fun, and easy to use app. I have the free version, and though there are a LOT of ads (hey, they gotta make that $$$ somewhere), they're just like background noise once you get playing with it enough. The watermarks placed on the free version aren't overwhelming. I do wish more of the templates were in square format so as to be more social media friendly, but it's easy enough to crop them in another app later, I guess.

It's not free with in-app purchases, it's only a 3 day free trial. Made me set up an account for payment before I can use it. And it's not even working, keeps saying it loading but nothing comes up. I have Uninstalled and installed. Restarted my phone and completely turned it off for a couple of minutes and still nothing. I installed cartoon face and no issues at all with that App. I'm sure once the first payment is received it will start to work! But I'm canceling already on the first day!

It does really good at grabbing your face and turning you into a cartoon character. But to my disappointment, rather than turn a photo into a cartoon, it just takes the fases in the photo individually and puts them on a new body with a new background. It is not for group photos. It doesn't really transform your existing photos, which was a bummer.

A very simple feature is absent from this app. The ability to search for a specific background or filter. Instead, you're forced to scroll endlessly in which you may find what you're looking for. The "AI" filters often time out, and you keep having to hit refresh, and while you're scrolling through the filters, they often glitch out and randomly blink. If it wasn't for the endless amount of combos and backgrounds, I would give this app 2 stars.

Initially I liked it. It was simpler. I don't always want all the crazy backgrounds just to look like a cartoon. Extremely add heavy. Would purchase it, but there's a lot of stuff that I will never use I was the one that came with the Grand Theft Auto theme. Great, I use four different apps to make that the final one being toonme. instead of getting credit for it they try to sell me the pro just like YouTube I have a video with 32k Views Place ads on I don't get paid they're trying to sell me
