App still largely does what it's supposed to, I can find stores that have available orders, place the order, and complete pickup. That's still seamless and excellent. However, some of the features are getting buggy, and I have to uninstall and reinstall the app at least once a week. For example, the map-based feature is a significantly different experience, and the radius feature doesn't work. The objects in the list view get compressed and become unintelligible.

The concept is good however it's only good in certain major cities. Also the time frame the restaurants give you to pick up the order is horrible. Some restaurants give you only a 30 min window to pick up after they just listed the food. Others only offer pick during lunch hours and others never offer pick up after 5pm which I would assume would be better for them if they are closing later in the evening and want to get rid of the food and not it go to waste.

I love everything about this app! HOWEVER, it has one major issue. Bots. I was wondering why certain bags were going faster than humanly possible every time I was constantly reloading to get them and a quick google search shows at least 2 companies that you can pay to have them use a bot to reserve bags for you for as little as 3.99 for their service giving an unfair advantage and discourages even wanting to use it. Unless you want doughnuts, good luck because the bots will take it first.

This app is one of the best kept secrets. I downloaded the app about 2 months ago and within the last month have really utilized All the benefits. Not only is this app a Great cause, it reduces food waste and is an excellent value. You get a chance to experience different bakeries, creameries, restaurants, and donut shops. The options are unlimited !!! Vegan and vegetarian food included. You get a chance to find hidden gems in every neighborhood & Meet the awesome people behind the restaurants.

Seems like a good idea, except for the fact that the app will give you errors and not allow the initial registration process to complete unless you check the box to allow them to sell your info for marketing purposes. That is a total deal breaker for me. It's pretty dishonest to make it seem like the app is simply experiencing technical difficulties (especially since signing up for marketing is OPTIONAL). It's sad to see something that appears to be fueled by good intentions is simply a front

TGTG, I think is an awesome concept the value of the food you are getting is great. The app itself has no bugs or I haven't had any negative experiences. On the otherhand, I'm not sure how much information is given to restaurant owners about the apps use and how best to navigate it, but it seems to be very little. Otherwise love the idea, major cities in North America and Europe it's easy to find cheap food at the end of the day and it surely beats paying full price for the quantity given. :)

There is a huge issue with contacting the company when an issue pops up. I just had an order cancel for no reason, and when I tried to rebuy someone took it at 5:10am. I got the cancelation at 5:10am. There is no way someone was waiting at this time to snipe it from me when it was just canceled. I have tried to contact the company on this issue, and it is pretty hard to get anyone or correct topic it was under.

This app is a wonderful idea, and I hope more locales use it. I love purchasing a surprise bag and getting to try foods from places I've never eaten at. I find it challenging sometimes to coordinate my times with the surprise bag's availability, but it is worth it. Especially if you'd been wanting to try a place and wanted to try a sampling. Completely recommendable.

Great app. Save money and bring attention to the amazing amount of food that gets wasted at restaurants and grocery stores, while saving food from waste! BE SURE to buy something at regular price at the store you pick your bag up at, to show your appreciation -- if you can!! Even a little something!! Or come back during the day to order from their menu! Patronizing the store shows you appreciate what they are doing to reduce food waste and inform others of the need to minimize food waste!

app features/functionality and in-store experience - 5 stars. Geographical coverage (i.e. how many and diversity of shops in my near-suburban area and other places I go) and convenience of pick-up times - 3 stars. This is a "critical mass" thing that will get better as the concept gains more traction, so I will update to 5 stars when (not if!) that happens.

Too good to go has been great, However there's been an annoying issues that I've encountered which is why I gave it a 3 instead of 5. Issue #1 Theres a few stores/restaurants that have some really good deal that sells out in literally 10-15 seconds. Issue with this is that one you click "reserve" it doesn't actually reserve it, you still have to go thru payment process. A few times I'm literally at the payment selection and I get an error, kicks me back and there's no more bags.

Tried using twice and both experiences were a disaster. First place was closed during pick up window and needed to get a refund. Second place wasn't in the spot where map took me and not sure whether business actually exists. Would not recommend. Just seems to be full of issues and not reliable at all. Seems like a good idea but nothing but negative experiences for me.

Pretty good app and service. No issues with making selections, paying, or picking up food. My only gripe is that it's a bit generic. It would be great to give suppliers more options to fill in specifics, whether types of food, pickup containers, etc. Also then you could get more dietary restrictions covered. As a vegetarian I've had to avoid restaurant pickups because I just have no way of knowing or selecting a no meat preference. Grocery stores and cafes/pastries are fine.

I like the app and its business model. Hope it will continue to grow. It's a great way to cut down food waste. One needed improvement: stop communicating with users via email (only). Send any message to user through the app. I should not need to go to email to learn that my order has been cancelled by the retailer. Hated that I have to go to 2 different apps to get complete information.

I've enjoyed the food I've gotten through the app and it's easy to use. However, the more recent versions' badges and other attempts to "gameify" the app - to the extent of making your phone vibrate (even if it's on silent!!) when you look at your badges - are intrusive and obnoxious. badges should be opt-in at most. I also wish it could be used without turning location on

The concept is good and the app works. But it's annoying that, after EVERY SINGLE ORDER, the apps invites me to turn on notifications, post something about my lunch on social media, and maybe even a third prompt. Friends, "maybe later" is not the opposite of "yes." Stop asking me questions I have already answered!

Thank you, 'TOO GOOD TO GO', for partnering with local restaurants and supermarkets to save food that would go to waste. The app makes it super fast and easy to order and make a payment. "The direct link to Google Map is a great idea!" It makes it very easy to find your pickup locations. I use Google Maps to navigate my way to pick up food from serval restaurants in one day. With the app, I save 50 to 90% off restaurants' food. LOVE IT! "MORE of my MONEY, stay in the bank!"

I've had this app almost 2 months and it's already great. It works best in bigger cities that have more restaurants participating, but even in a mid-size city like San Antonio, there are already a lot of options. I have gotten a lot of good deals and tried new restaurants I would not have found otherwise. My surprise bags so far have only been about 30% actual leftover food vs just a way for smaller businesses to attract customers and offer a discount, but I think it works well for both reasons.

It's a great idea. The app works smoothly. Unfortunately, the experience is hit or miss. Sometimes, restaurants have great leftovers for you; other times, they have nothing, and you feel scammed like they just wanted to get you in the door. Often, they way overinflate the advertised price of the amount of food you're getting. Customer service is great at refunding you when there's an issue, but the inconsistency makes it hard to want to make the drive.

It's a good idea. Packages are "good" and not "amazing" for their prices. Feels like they should all cost a little less than they do. Some places even want you to bring your own box. Wish there was a way to have it delivered as the pickup time windows are pretty inconvenient. Overall I haven't been wowed by anything but it's a nice idea that prevents waste.
