The game starts off fun and you're able to obtain quite a number of fan favorite characters from the 80's show rather quick. However, the main problem is that there is no way to revisit previous missions to obtain more currency to level up your team to face tougher levels. The only way for your characters to level up if you reach a level you just can't beat is by waiting for the currency to automatically fill up on its own, which could take several minutes to hours.

Started as a 5 until I hit the "wall". Inability to replay missions to strengthen your team is basically forcing you to stop playing until your lair gives you enough resources to progress, or you you shell out real cash to progress. Looks like a cash grab, hope I'm wrong and it gets fixed. Love the character designs, just like the toys I grew up with. Please fix gameplay options though.

I really wanted to like this game, but the progress is painfully slow, you'll get stuck rather quick, even if you get better characters you are stuck with the ones you already leveled up because you don't have a better option. The gameplay is boring after a while, repetitive and you don't really have much control over your team, it would be nice to be able to target enemies and tap to perform combos or ANYTHING but the auto system. It feels like an afk gone wrong...Unistalling.

So far, not bad. It's not winning any awards in the graphical or innovation departments but it's solid. I'm not a fan of some of the models they chose for some characters, it's very childish and cartoony with respect to the models as well which may be a turn off. It also takes a VERY long time to get 3 and 4 star units and the pricing for packs is pretty awful. The combat is very 1-dimensional and confusing too, considering that it doesn't say what different status affects actually do.

Overall I find the game very enjoyable, and don't mind watching ads for bonuses. However, lately the ads seem to have changed from just the standard game advertising videos, to more clunky news app adverts. For example, the X to close out of the video once it's done playing is so small and unresponsive, that clicking it even slightly off will automatically take you to an auto download for the advertised app. It feels intentional and invasive.

Shows promise, but very buggy right now. De-syncs constantly on wifi. Also, lack of energy leads to inability to replay levels meaning if you can't beat a level you're stuck there for a day or two until XP slowly comes in from the base. Looking forward to them fixing these issues so I can give a better review. Update: Appreciate the quick reply. Adding a star :)

Game is great. It's smooth, colors look awesome, and gameplay is fun. Unfortunately for me the game crashes every time I try to watch an ad in order to boost up my rewards and such. Also, I can't access the menu, lair, and events at times. I can still participate in the adventures which is the fun part but those other features are still needed. Other than that, the game is truly a blast and I can't wait till all the little bugs are fixed.

The pay wall really ruins the momentum of the game. Needs more content to justify the amount of waiting necessary to level up characters, or maybe just a difficulty rebalancing. An option to replay previously cleared levels to grind would be a start. Cool graphics. Some surprising choices for characters to collect while omitting more familiar characters. More music would be nice. At least license the theme song! Needs a better story, or even one that makes sense. And I stress, more content.

It makes my heart so happy that they used the original cartoon's aesthetic. But there needs to be more things to do. Also make the manual fighting more intuitive, currently you're at a disadvantage because of the time lossed screwing with the clunky controls, whereas the auto mode will automatically use multiple skills at once, which is impossible with manual mode. It would also make the battles more enjoyable to be more involved. Also, most expensive season pass I've ever seen, it should be $5

I hate giving this a 2 because I love the TMNT, but really the only thing that's good about this are the graphics. The storyline is ok. But there's just no strategy or skills needed to play this game. It's so easy it basically plays itself, so what's even the point of playing it? Also, why would the turtles team up with the enemy characters in their battles against them? Makes no sense. And lastly, the music just sucks. It's a repetitive 6 seconds for everything. 🤮

It's a fun game, with a hybrid of different elements to keep you playing. I will say I have a few negative points: the balance seems wonky, as certain battles are easier than the ones before it. Also, there is no good explanation of dimension levels or how they benefit the overall skill of the characters. The linear progression of story mode has no way to go back or view what is going on. It would be nice to see a recap of the comic slides.

Don't be mistaken, this isn't a Turtles in Time style game. It's mostly a TMNT themed idle game, which is fine if you set your expectations appropriately. There's not really any grinding because resources generate over time, and units auto-battle in real time. You can use and aim skills (something I did not realize initially). F2P progress slows pretty quickly, but they are generous with free offers... Always accept the after-battle ad, win or lose (which can occur after a few losses in a row)

I do have a minor complaint and don't know if my device is to blame. On this one it plays just fine but... once I'm 2 matches in on PvP and trying to go for a 3rd, all I see is the purple ooze loading screen. And that's usually when the game freezes on me. Every single time. But on my Tablet it runs perfectly with the exception of a tiny graphics issue. For instance, just guns looking like a blackish silhoutte. Please fix PvP! Thank you! 😊🙏🙏🙏💯

Feels like it has potential but also has a very beta test feel to it. For example the music is good but it's a very short track that loops incessantly and gets very annoying. There are very few characters... Where's metalhead and usagi yojimbo? The story is even thinner than other "idle" games like it. You just fight random bosses for no reason. Would definitely like it if it was polished and expanded.

Game is an ad watching simulator. Gameplay is essentially turn it on auto and let it run as everything is real time and you get the most benefit from using abilities which are used the instant they come available. Battles lack any room for skill to come into play. I'd recommend any of the other popular collector games over this. It gets an extra star for visually being a good representation of the ninja turtles franchise.

It's nostalgic, great character design, and story. However, the pay wall is almost impossible to climb, even by paying. Luckily for me, I grew up with the original TMNT cartoon and therefore am older with a good job and expendable income. I decided to spend a little money, support the developer and continue to play a game I enjoy. Unfortunately after around $60 spent I barely got a handhold on climbing that paywall. Until the upgrade system is completely overhauled this will just be a cash grab.

I have put over a month into this game. I have to say while the animations are really cool, and the art style is very reminiscent of the old tv show, it's really not worth putting much time into. I have run into a road block, especially in the "pvp" sort of section of the game. It isn't fair what so ever and the ranking system makes zero sense. It ends up putting you against players that are way ahead of you, so you don't win anymore and just makes you frustrated and don't want to play anymore.

UPDATE!: I'm done with this game. I had an issue with various glitches. (Mikey being stuck the screen all the time, or game freezing during gameplay) I reached out to get assistance and that got me no where. NOW the characters do not even begin the match. I have to exit the entire game and go through all the annoying character cues again. 🙄 I've done the whole clear cache and restart game stuff. Nothings changed. So where this game was a time waster at best. It is no unplayable. Uninstalled.

Major issues. The game has many bugs where your characters will be permanently stunned, just run in circles, or do nothing during battles. You are forced to surrender and lose due to the game being broken. Additionally you really don't do anything. You busy click on some upgrades and open a few low level hero packs. The battles are automated and out of your hands. The adventure, pvp, and channel 6 tower climb modes are all the exact same... an automated battle.

I would give it a higher rating except for a few things that bother me. The game it's self is fun and addicting, I enjoy the artwork, story line and easy to pick up gameplay. However there is really no point in having a clan if I can chat with them or see how powered up there heros are. Also the monthly pass of $19.99 is just stupid. Othe games it's only like $6.99. if the monthly pass was changed to something a little more reasonable I would subscribe. The game is fun!! I hope it gets better
