The game is better than average. There's no description of what the units can do, you kinda just have to play with them and guess what they can do and can't do. The leveling of the units is also kinda blah, just an increase in percentage that we have no references to. I hope future updates will change this. Great job so far!

It was fun and interesting to try different strategies. However, I can't imagine why anyone would spend money on this game. I completed all available stages with 3 stars without spending a dime. It began to be too easy. Wouldn't it be interesting to see a player vs player mode, or maybe co-op against random Ai enemies? Unfortunately, without more stages for me to complete, I'm afraid I've hit a wall and might uninstall. Great ideas and cute art, just needs some polish and tlc.

The game starts out great. But then you are blindsided by enemies you can't defeat. The point of progression is for levels to get slightly harder one after another. But not this game. You get a few easy levels then an impenetrable wall. Not fun at all when it ia set up to make you lose over and over and over.

Game was fun until you're required to grind with your life or spend money to be able to beat the next stages. You don't even have a unit that can match up with the frog who spit out more units which doesn't require any foods to spawn. Tried every way in free to play strategy and easily get destroyed by the frog and the plant teamwork. It's how they get you to spend money. I know once you spend money and beat the stage, you'll have to spend more to beat more stages ahead. It'll keep going.

Decent game! Progression was good and strategy isn't boring. Unfortunately, something broke with the recent update and my Premium Pass purchase didn't do anything. The Devs need to fix this immediately, then I will edit my review. Edit: They fixed the problem in the most recent update (v 1.3). I changed my review from 2 to 4 stars. The best hero can only be purchased, which I'm generally not a fan of. And $13 for a new hero is too much for a mobile game unless you're a whale.

The gameplay is fun, I really like the game, and the ads are optional, which is fantastic. I would have liked to pay to get rid of those optional ads but I'd never pay $10/month maybe if it was $2/month. In 6 months you'd have paid the price of a new AAA pc or console game, and it's continual. So you decide to pay it, not realizing, and it charges you over and over and you don't notice you'd have paid $240 for 1 game. And no single game is worth that price

Another game that forces monetization by limiting the amount you can play at once with the awful "energy" system. When I play a mobile game I wanna be able to play it as much as I have free time not only get a couple of games then have to pay to get more. It's such an awful system I'm tired of seeing these terrible mobile games using this worthless system.

It's really fun and interesting... until you come up to a wall you simply can't overcome without money or SUBSTANTIAL grinding. I got to a level that had burrowing units that attack your squishy backline DPS units. Massively high HP pool, AoE attacking front line units, and frogs with high HP pools that hit hard and spawn swarm units. Oh, and they all spawn like crazy! It covers any and all weaknesses. I've tried everything. You simply can't progress without ridiculously OP units.

Fun little game, but over $20 to unlock the full experience is a bit steep for what's here. Plus they are super deceptive about that. I was playing around with the base game for a bit thinking the $10 unlocked the whole game, but that just gets rid of ads (the bare minimum to consider the game valuable at all), and then you have to spend another $12 to unlock half the game rewards and with how grindy they made it I'm sure there are other purchases that are necessary for upgrades to your units.

I watched an ad for more food. after the ad finished, I was moved back into the game as it should. but then I was stuck on a loading screen while the game was still playing, resulting in defeat. the whole point of the ad was to very much avoid that. fyi, my connection is crystal clear. it's not a slow internet problem.

This last update turned the game into another money grab from developers. Now you have to have keys that give exp card, which are random reward drops, to get a single exp card to upgrade your warriors when before you could just buy 1 or 10 cards at random at a time with in game money. Now I'm stuck chp3 unable to upgrade with tougher enemies so the game isn't fun anymore. You could replay lvls before to get money and buy cards to help with that, now you have to pay real money when you're stuck.

pay to win. progress is excruciatingly slow unless you are willing to pay for the two passes totaling $28. that didn't include the $10 to remove forced ads but you are still given optimal ads. this Dev is greedy. there is also a ladder and the top players have bought the passes so if you want to be competitive you have to buy the passes.

In general, the game is pretty cool characters are super cool, and lots of them. fun but the ads after every round is ridiculous and makes me log off. stop being greedy youre fan base doesn't mind watching the reward ads most of the time. but when you stuff an ad down our throat after every round. it gets old and uninstalled quickly.

Right out the gate and right up until I quit there were / are way too many ads and to pushy with them. I get it Devs need to make money, but for me this level of intrusiveness with the ads is a deal breaker. I'm going to give it a little bit longer maybe I just got hit with a slew of them that's not normal. I'll update after giving it another try.

the game started out great. it was a great time killer. then I started progressing through the levels to where I would be stuck on one level for days. that is after paying for add free as well as premium on both normal and hard. now it is stuck on the opening screen and won't even load. it just freezes at loading. this is after trying to restart many times.

Good game to pass the time. Just too many ads when completing a mission. It gets so annoying. [Edit] I don't know why you guys would get rid of energy refunding and stop giving away free energy. If you ask me the energy bar ruins the fun in the game. Some of us wanna pass the time and games are the best way to do it. Money is next to none and the enemy send out units twice as fast as we do or twice as much. lvl up after you hit chapter 4 is nearly impossible due to you being too weak.

I absolutely hate it when a game ramps up the difficulty so high that you have to pay lots of money to proceed. It starts fun, and there's a little strategy involved, but then you have to start watching ads to get past stages. After that, even with all the ads you watch, you'll get stuck. Then, you'll have to pay (and continue to watch ads) or grind with no progression for months (and still watch ads). Play the game until you get stuck and then delete it.

unless you want to play this like it's your main gaming system, & you have no other access to games, you'll be frustrated. Most of us were playing this on our smoke breaks at work, but with 2 min unskipable adds, & it occasionally just having to totally reload after you sat through an add, just to miss the reward, your breaks will be frustrating. we only get 10 mins.

Honestly this game is a really good for a little castle defender game! Good at passing the time and the way Upgrades work are pretty fair! I will say though, the frequency of the Ads are a bit much at times but I do understand they gotta get revenue to keep the game going and also to give better future updates. So it doesn't bother me Too terribly much. But All in all, keep up the good work!

it'll ask if you want to watch an ad to receive a bonus, then serve you an ad even if you say no, and give you nothing in return. if you want more people to watch your ads, give better rewards. EDIT: since dev response the ad situation is unchanged; if you do play, closing the app and restarting whenever an ad plays works perfectly fine and is faster than waiting through it
