Doesn't work like you'd think ... you need to be right on top of your tile in order for the app to "find" it. even with a powerful Bluetooth connection. by that point I've found it myself. There are many ways they could make this service better but in the 1 yr+ I've been a premium subscriber they've made no real updates. cancelling for now, maybe I'll come back if they improve it.

I just now misplaced my keys to my car. It is not in the usual places where I would have it. In the past, this would result in me looking sometimes for hours and relooking in places I've already looked. This time, I turned on the Bluetooth and location, and it was able to find the keys immediately. In my experience, you do have to be within some several feet to for it to start making a musical sound which will tell you where it is located. However, in the majority of cases, that is good enough.

Have had Tile for a few years now and it's helpful but does have its downfalls the ringtone when searching for an item is seldom visible and I have been struggling to figure out how to hide or unhide old tiles since deleting isn't an option and that somehow manages to be the most complicated thing to do. The videos they have to help look different from this app when I have it open and it just makes it more confusing.

App is okay I think? I think it's an issue with my tiles The wallet one I have is less than a year old and struggles to be found by the app even when I'm under 10' away Still terrible do not bother with the expensive one you can change the battery for it failed a month after a second battery Get the cheaper one and you'll see why it has higher ratings

It's been 3-4 years. I've had it and I managed to not lose or misplace my keys. To that I say yippee yahoo. Although the yearly battery replacement task seems to roll a around a little faster each year. But hey it's probably just the early onset of alzheimer. I'd come to the realization that the availability of legitimate excuses regardless of validity increases without question with one's inability to accomplish simple tasks. It be irresponsible not to use all available tools.

This device has been a huge help to our family so many times in trying to find our skinny all black Samsung TV remote, which makes it very difficult to find in dark/hidden areas. Having 3 kids that never put it away who knows where it can end up the possibilities are endless. It also helps us determine which remote is to the tv since the Samsung sound bar remote is practically identical.

When it works, it works great! The dev team needs to give us the ability to have a refresh button on either home screen or the individual tiles! The only way to refresh everything is to force close the app and restart it meanwhile I am walking exactly to the location where I finally remembered where my wallet is and the goddamn app did not refresh to give me the audio button because there is no way to refresh! Your app auto refresh sucks, let us do it manually or just tell us to use air tags!

Was working great when I installed it last night but this morning, I checked it and it said notify when found for all my tiles. I was in the same room with one tile so I did an experiment by force stopping the app and walking around the house. It reconnected briefly but now keeps saying "notify when found". I also have to re-enter my contact info for said tile every time that happens. I don't understand and the help page on the app is not helpful.

Love this app and the tiles. I just wish they weren't so insistant on running your location 24/7. You don't have to enable 24/7 location to use their app, but if you do and you leave your keys in a bar in Toledo across from the depot, it will remember that. I'm not sure if it's worth the additional battery drain or if I like yet another 3rd party tracking my every move. Overall I love the app for finding my keys and wallet quickly when I misplace them and I'm running late for something.....

I have the free version and it is very good at tracking and finding my keys and wallet. It has completely changed the way I used to panic when I would lose them. I use it all the time. I also like how easy it is to add another device as well. (No messing around in app settings, you just squeeze it and it syncs.) My only complaint is that it that the app installed on my Android keeps having an issue and so I can use the phone to find the other devices, but can't find my phone from them.

It does the basics and it has helped me find my keys many times. However, the app leaves a lot to be desired. If it doesn't find your tile it goes into a notify when found mode. So it's really confusing when you're walking around trying to find your keys to get out of that mode and hit the find button. Also, the app is cluttered with ads and upgrade offers. That's the last thing you want to deal with when you're rushing around trying to find your keys.

Slow and inconsistent, doesn't work. Literally I can have my tile on top of my phone and it will take 1-2 mins to connect.. then it will ring one cycle or whatever ring tone then loose connection and stop ringing. The app is just as cheap.. never works. I was trying to find my phone that was lost.. I found it myself. Tile kept failing to connect. I was told by your people it won't work unless the app is up in the background. Turns out your version of Bluetooth is OUTDATED! UPDATE TO 5.3 PLZ!!!

All the setting are on, active, and running on background, etc. but the location will not update. I have signed out, signed back in, make sure it's updated, etc. why isn't there a refresh option to force a refresh! It was last updated Saturday, it's Monday right now. Unless you pay $$$ it's pretty useless. Recommend switching to Apple products, at least the tags are cheaper and more intuitive user interface.

The app is now set up to have a bold red caution requesting permission to run off the battery in the background that shows indefinitely unless you give it permission. It also warns that it will cost the battery to deplete faster. I literally only turn my Bluetooth or location on when needed in order to conserve my battery life. This should be an optional setting and not a consistent passive demand at the top of the app.

Regretfully I am reducing my 5-star review to a 1-star review. I absolutely love the app. As someone with ADHD that is constantly losing my keys and wallet it has changed my life for the better. I no longer have to spend 15 minutes looking for my keys... when it works. Again, I absolutely love the app. My issue is with the hardware. Even with a strong signal it often won't chime, or it'll chime for a brief moment and then go silent.

I love the concept of tile, and when it works, it's great for my husband who is constantly losing his wallet. However 90% of the time the "find" button isn't visible in the app and therefore I cannot ring the tile to listen for the chime. Even when I'm literally holding the tile in one hand with my phone in the other, it gives me the "notify when found" option instead. The current app and technology leaves much to be desired.

I've been using Tile for several years now. I originally gave it 3 stars 'cause your Android phone had to have the app open in order for a Tile to connect with it. But the most recent iterations of the Android OS and tweaks by Tile seem to have resolved this issue... mostly. Works great, but still I don't recommend misplacing your phone. Up'd rating from 3 stars to 4, tho I'm inclined to blame the OS for putting unused apps into deep sleep after not opening them for a period of time.

The only feature I would say the tile needs to have is the separation from your keys from phone that way you don't leave them behind and have to key track them especially if the distance goes greater than the Bluetooth range. but everything else works totally fine sucks that's kind of expensive but each child is actually worth it. I have not lost my keys for very long without having to find them again with 100% success.

I bought the key smart pro with the idea that it would be a good way too keep track of my keys and cut down on clutter in my pockets. It does one of those really well and the other not so well. Because the key smart pro is also a tile device it has a battery life (which the tile app does not tell you if it is charge % or if it is dead) and the feature that tells you if something was left behind is a pay for subscription. The app always has an ad at the top.

When it works it's great, but doesn't seem to work when you need it. Many times I will lose something and the find button will be unavailable for the lost item. It will say it was on my property though within the last 20 minutes. Recently I found the item I was looking for, was standing within 3 feet of it and the app still didn't have the find button pop up for me to actually ring it. I pay for premium for multiple tiles so pretty disappointing.
