More About Thimbleweed Park

Welcome to Thimbleweed Park. Population: 80 nutcases.
A haunted hotel, an abandoned circus, a burnt-out pillow factory, a dead body pixelating under the bridge, toilets that run on vacuum tubes... you’ve never visited a place like this before.

Five people with nothing in common have been drawn to this rundown, forgotten town. They don’t know it yet, but they are all deeply connected. And they’re being watched.

...Who is Agent Ray really working for and will she get what they want?
...What does Junior Agent Reyes know about a 20 year old factory fire that he’s not saying?
...Will the ghost, Franklin, get to speak to his daughter again?
...Will Ransome the *Beeping* Clown ever become a decent human being?
...Will aspiring game developer Delores abandon her dreams and stick by her family?
...And most importantly: how come no one cares about that dead body?

By the end of a long, strange night in Thimbleweed Park, all of this will be answered -- and you’ll question everything you thought you knew.

In a town like Thimbleweed Park, a dead body is the least of your problems.

Humorous and reminiscent of classic point and click adventure. Dialogue and storylines are clever and figuring out what to do is fun without being super easy. The built in hint system is helpful for when you're stuck. I love how you get to play as the characters in flashbacks too. The characters are so original (love Ransome!) and keep you wanting more. It is a long game with lots to do!

One of the best games I have played on the phone! Amazing storyline and game play. Very reminiscent of King's Quest and other Sierra and DreamCatcher games that find humor in darkness along with breaking the 4th wall. I sincerely hope that I get to see more games from this company. Had this been out on PlayStation, I would've had no qualms paying $60 for it! And it is a long game to boot! I am about to replay it, but I want to say it took me about a week to beat.

5 stars for sure😏Quite some game this I must admit not to bad graphics aswell for an pixel art game and not to mention the perfectly done bagrounds,Items and Characters.I really do like the fact that you can play with more than one person on the game however at the ending of the game when you play as Franklin's Daughter my phone started freezing allot I'm guessing it's because of how low the graphics can drop at that specific scene. Stop hesitating and buy the game 😺or the play pass

Great game, took me roughly 18 hours to finish. I only used it twice, but the hint system in the game is actually fantastic - it gets you off a wrong trail before it starts telling you where to look. I'm so glad someone still makes these old-fashioned point-and-click adventures! It also stayed true to the genre and would have worked the same in MS DOS (no in-game buys etc.).

Incredible game, with a lot of great humour about text adventures in general. The puzzles were smart and quirky how they normally are in a text adventure, and there's a lot of them to solve. The characters feel really nice, and you do get to care about each of them. Please, support the devs on this wonderful passion project, it's totally worth it.

Great-areno! The retro graphics, the game mechanics, and the inside jokes and references to point and click adventure games of the late 80's/early 90's all combine to create a pleasant nostalgic gaming experience. The puzzles get more challenging and complex as the game progresses and the hint system is well-designed so you can choose how much is revealed. I would definitely play a sequel or another game by Terrible Toybox, Inc.

Phenomenal! Easily takes its place alongside the greats of the genre like monkey Island and even surpasses them in terms of mechanics (playing as five people at once). Great characters (every last one, especially the sheriff-a-reno), good puzzles (although some were a little hard in the middle, like a key that's tiny and doesn't stand out). The ending was a little more emotional than is usual for games like this, which was an interesting change.

Really good game. The humor and dialog are the true winners here. Even when you're stuck and frustrated, the interactions themselves will keep you entertained. However, I almost gave it 4 stars because some of the tasks were unintuitive, hard to guess, or even downright ridiculous. Luckily, there's a very logical in-built hint system that will get you out if your stuck. In the end, the game was so much fun, and funny, that it deserves 5 stars.

Amazing game! I got this with play pass but I would have paid for it, it's so good! I love point and click adventure games and this really ticks all the boxes. Tip, play hard mode! I played casual first and it misses out a load of the puzzles. As soon as I was finished I started hard mode, which gave me over 2hrs of extra play time (6 and a bit for casual, almost 9hrs for hard mode). 10/10, really fantastic game. I want more!

What a fantastic game! Definitely one of my favorites for mobile. Will you have to check out walkthroughs? Likely. Will you have to use them often? No. The gameplay has nice flow to it, and solving the puzzles is fun. The graphics are AMAZING, astounding pixel art. The story gets off to a slow start, but quickly ramps up to throw you into a... I'm not spoiling the plot. It's good. Like, GOOD good.

This game was amazing! I love adventure games but am usually not smart or patient enough to figure out the puzzles on my own, but not this game. I got (almost) all of them by myself on hard mode! It never made me feel frustrated and the puzzles were very satisfying to solve. The graphics are super cute and the detail is just perfect. 10/10 humor. If you like adventure games, particularly with a spooky vibe, give this one a try it won't disappoint!

An amazing retro pixel adventure game! The production is top-notch: graphics look exactly as they should, the animations are clean, the backgrounds are beautiful. Voice acting is phenomenal, music is atmospheric and appropriate. The in-game hint system is a little clunky so I had to use an external guide a few times. All of the throwbacks, easter eggs, 4th-wall-breaks and fan-service were much appreciated by this old-school gamer gal!

I can't tell you how much fun I had! This is totally reminiscent of old 90s adventure games! Finally! Everything is identical game play except for having to save all time or start over because of death, so you can play more casually. The puzzles aren't stupid easy, which I enjoy. Great story line, super quirky, beautiful retro graphics, and overall a wonderful game. Thank you!!

One of the best games I've played in a long time! I completely forgot how much I love text adventure games. It's a good challenge and made with amazing voice acting which is a whole new dynamic. I am getting sad just approaching the end of the game Yes- it has challenging puzzles and I definitely have had to use a hint or two. But the steps all make sense once you get there. Thinking outside the box and focus on the puzzle you're on!

It's an amazing game, but if you're not good at click point games or like a quick game this isn't the one for you. It takes loads of time to even get through the regular version and if you plan on doing the hard one plan on spending double if not triple the time playing. I liked having hints because I'm not too great at these games but I can still appreciate the time and effort it took to make. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience.

Point & click adventure is one of my favorite game genres. This game captures about 90% of the late 80s game feeling. However, there are very few "death" or dead end choices, plus an in-game hint system. (Wow, the frustration we faced, when there was no Internet and hints over the real phone cost real money!) A few items make it not so family friendly: murder plot line, occult rooms and items, and constantly foul-mouthed clown (it's *beeped* out, but still obvious). Overall, impressive project!

Has some issues using a controller that will likely never be fixed. The cursor drifts regardless of controller. Disappointing. It's still easy and simple to use the touch screen, however. Great game otherwise. I checked and it isn't a hardware issue.

Pixel art is terrific and the backgrounds are gorgeous. Music is absolutely stellar. Voice acting and dialog are surprisingly above-par tolerable. My #1 criticism is the puzzle-solving. In the beginning it's intuitive and fun. Towards the middle it becomes a slog. There is an in-game tip system but I feel guilty using it. Two difficulties means the easier option keeps only story-focused puzzles, but confusingly, key items from hard-mode are kept in, throwing you off. Delightful game, otherwise.

Wow! This game is amazing! This is by far one of the best point and click games out there. The story, puzzles, graphics, characters and locations are just perfect. Every character is voice acted so you dont have to do a bunch of reading and they will read or describe anything you click. If you like point and click games then you should definitely download this one, you wont be disappointed. If I could rate it 20 stars i would.

This has to be the best game I have played on Android. I don't know where to begin my take on this. Like the movement of a Rolex, every aspect is perfectly balanced to provide a pristine product. A compelling story found me often dropping the phone on my face as my eyelids grew weary. My biggest problem has to be the lack of replayability. Start here, end there, not many other turns. For those w/ Play Pass, 100% dive in. But for those who have to pay, the $9.99 price tag is steep.
