Love the game but it is not quite behaving the way it's supposed to. The "class bonus" doesn't work. Every xp level you get a point to spend on specialization, normally costs 2 for one level. Some classes you pick are supposed to get a level with only one point instead of two. That's what's not working. So, no advantage for one class over another. Also, there should be some kind of stats upgrade for a level rased, depending on class.

Absolutely the best survival game I've played. This isn't about grinding and just collecting endless resources, it's about actually surviving. Death is once, you restart from the beginning, and it's not trivial to survive I died within a few days my first many attempts. Resources are scarce and must be rationed with care. It's turn based, so you have time to think between moves. The turn based nature simplifies the game so that the battle mechanics can shine, it's far more complex than the real time variants. Battle decisions matter. Magic, potions, equipment, building, it's all there and a far richer environment than most other survival games. As you manage to survive longer you gain access to more advanced characters and bonuses you can start with, so it's not just a full restart when you die, there's something new each time. I contemplate every move carefully in this game. Also the ads are minimal and non invasive nor is payment required to play. Maybe 1 optional ad every 20 minutes of gameplay will get you a useful bonus. The game is easy to put down and pick up on a whim which is nice.

The Wild Darkness is a fun, challenging survival/fantasy game with cute artwork. It's punishing, but not overly so once one gets the hang of it. Luck plays very little role in long term success, though some runs may be more doomed than others at the start. There's no need to spend to win, but if you enjoy it throw the developer some support in hopes that they make updates or something similar. I've beat it twice and the third victory is certain, this time I'm going for the evil ending.

I've played this for a number of months, survived 100+ days, and it's a great premise. There are a lot of reviews that say the food drop isn't nearly enough, and I cannot stress enough how true it is lol. And if you're looking at the game pics for a judgement, think again. The equipment, maps and builds shown in the pics are MUCH later game than day 2. It follows more in line with day 50+ stuff, even with built totems and multiple unlocked slots. But it's a fun game to space out on for hours.

If you like D&D style, mixed with a bit of survival, it's hands down one of the best mobile games I ever played. While it costs A TON (too much, in my opinion) to lay for anything in the app, it contains hardly any ads, and a wide range quests. Also, DROPRATE IS TERRIBLE! I end up fying because of hunger due to bad drop rates, and nowhere does it say anything about how to replant things like carrots for the sake of not starving to death.

Fun game and cute graphics. I like survival games but some of them are too involved with getting your friends to play with you, or you have to worry about other players hijacking your work, or just crazy. I like that I can play this Save in the middle of doing anything because it's turn based and pick right back up when I can. Its fun and non-stressed. Only catch is some things you have to figure it out as you go, but it does show you most of the basics at the start with its completion list.

Great game, casual but challenging. I've never really been into survival open world games, but took this one for a drive, and am I glad I ever did. The animation is well done, the mechanics are good, tons to learn, even more to craft and build. The reward and achievement system is awesome. There are ads, but they are COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. I cannot say enough good things about the game and the studio/creators, they hit a great balance with this one!

Its a great game, with great mechanics. A bit hard at first, but once you begin to understand it becomes easier each play through. The one huge bug im having an issue with seems to be a connectivity problem with the server? It wont connect to any online feature. I cant open remains, or use the phantom chest options aside from normal open. It has great potential, but definitely needs to be polished around the bugs. I would give it 5 stars if you guys were to update the server or fix the outage.

Addicting game. Game puts a lot of random in it. It's possible to win without dying, but revival is also a choice. The game has zero "cash" items, so everyone gets to enjoy 100% contents. Everything is a mystery, so being lucky is a thing. The game can be confusing, so searching online is useful, but not required as the game sometimes tells you small things at random. Only issue I have is the controls. Misclick/touching is annoying. You can survive for years! (No co-op, no pvp, just survive)

The game has good aspects and storyline. It's more balanced in combat, but I feel like it's clunky; it should be revised a bit more. My main problems are food, stones and story progression. More rabbits need to spawn and drop meat, especially hogs. Right now, mob loot is too hard to acquire. There should also be more vegetation to harvest and making a farm should be easier. For story progression, I would like in-game objectives aiding my decision making. It feels too aimless.

Very fun, very addictive, no explaination. I've finally gotten to a point in the game where I've collected all the "light tablets" I scowered the map trying to figure out what the next step is but havnt had any luck. Theres an "interdimensional gate" "and mysterious monoliths, but regardless of what I craft/collect theres no interactions. :/ I'm bummed cause i really like the game and it took alot of time to get to 600 days

Love the game. But as others have said, the beginning needs to be rebalanced. The jump from first location enemies to forest 1 is too big. You still have junk equipment, but enemies hit like a brick. A tip for newer players, if you have a character you like, force close the game without hitting game over. It won't delete your character and you can revive your MC once you get enough gems or rebirth tokens.

Really fun roguelike survival game. Quite difficult, even once you've gotten the hang of it. I'd love to see an easier difficulty where monsters aren't as hard. Also a headstart mode that starts you after a give dungeon you've beaten with that character. Skip RoL1 But really, my big peeve with this game, is that the death screen always says "try to craft better equipment" like it's a tip. It gets old, annoying, and unhelpful. So hopefully future updates come with more tips for the death screen.

Love the replayability. Different maps to explore, new mystery items, & new enemies. Not too many ads. Still playable for free and only entices you to buy 1 item (star gems). I love that the company doesn't annoy you with paying for different items. When the content is good, you don't need ads and pay to play. Definitely buying the star gems to support!

This game is a great way to pass the time. Very challenging in the beginning because of lack of food (or management) and necessary equipment. Bu once you get over the beginning blues it's all fun from there. Issue: to refill water is a pain and annoying to do it all 1x1 you should put a batch fill option. Issue: skill option transfer is not mainstream and skill stone don't provide enough info... This have completely ruin some good gears for me.

Cons of game: You can buy or aquire revival tokens for free but it costs three tokens to revive and even then you don't revive with full health, maybe half-ish. You can use these star gems you can buy or aquire in-game as well which is fine but the cost goes up for some reason? And again, you don't revive with full health which i don't understand. Pros: maps change just slightly each time to be fun. The game style is simple and easy to manage/learn. Very cute while being simplistic.

This game is quite enjoyable. I love the gameplay, the art is simple but nice, it has a loose, whimsical isekai story, it is expansive and thorough and gets updated about once per month. The developers are very friendly and responsive to issues and there are a lot of great community for the game, specifically r/thewilddarkness. Perfect for plane rides or public transit with bad internet connectivity. Be prepared to die a lot, though, this game is devilishly hard.

This is hands down my favorite cell phone game! I've put serious hours into this game over the last 2 years or so! There's lots to do, so much content I still haven't finished everything. It can be difficult, the trick is to take it slow and farm as much as resources as you can! The app is regularly updated and always running smoothly. I would give this all the stars! Great job to the devs!

Fantastic game. I'm deployed, and need deep games like this to occupy my time sometimes, while simultaneously not having an internet connection. This is one of my favorite games to play to take my mind off things. That being said, there is only one improvement that I can think of: We need a way to revive offline. I'll pay more for an offline version. I would love to see some way, either a week long waiting period or ANYTHING to revive offline. Oh, and opening ruins offline would be nice!

Downloaded and discovered I am had already played before. Now I remember why I uninstalled. There's never enough food, fires and torches don't last, too few portals to teleport so you're backtracking all the time, and the biggest issue is the expense to revive so you basically have to start over every time you die. And you will die, bc you can't make strong enough weapons, and since things don't respawn, you have to go to parts too hard so you can get materials. Not bad, but could be better.
