I love this app for the weather, but it keeps blowing up my notications with fluff stories. I have turned off ALL notifications on this app as of this morning, and I STILL just got a story sent to my phone. You need to fix this. Prior to this morning, I had only real-time rain alerts and government warnings activated, and I was getting these stories. Again, please fix this.

I don't know why you shut down Storm Track for Android. Fortunately I also have an iPad. This applies isn't nearly as good. You have to go to a separate map for severe alerts, and then they're unreadable. You have to go to a separate map to add lightening and you can't save that as a default - I don't care about 10 vs 25 miles, 10 is all I need. It's ok if there's nothing much going on, but for a real weather event, I rely on the iPad where I can see everything clearly on the same screen.

Recently got a new phone and having a few issues. The first is that the temperature notification does not display in the notification bar at the top of the screen, even though "on-going temperature notification" is turned on. Second, it keeps sending me incorrect temperature notifications. It keeps sending me a notification that it's 57°, but then I go in the app and it shows something completely different.

I USED TO love this app helped me keep up to date on my family's weather and mine. However it won't search on the search bar for certain towns. It will say check spelling other times it will show up but you can't click the town. How can you plan?? This has become an ongoing problem. Years ago this app was accurate with the radar after the subscription started everything became inaccurate. Do better recently I've been using local weather station radar online not convenient. I will uninstall.

Used to love this app so much to the point I started paying for premium but not even a few weeks after i started paying money to them it started breaking on the DAILY. It won't load the radar let alone the actual weather temperatures. Incredibly disappointing.. it has a lot of amazing features and helps me stay weather aware since I live in the Midwest. Having trouble finding a new app I like as much as I loved this one :(

This weather app has a surprising lack of weather on it. Not only is it covered in ads, but you have to pay to actually see the weather past a certain point... Something that would be free by just doing a Google search. That being said the forecasts aren't all thar accurate, not something to depend on at all. The most egregious thing is the amount of spam the app bombards you with. I keep getting notifications from this app, only for it to be some stupid click bait news article. Don't install.

I have un-installed and reinstalled several times now and still keep getting unwanted top story notifications. All my settings are the same ad they always have been where all I want is relevant current weather notifications. I don't need 30 news stories popping up per day from a weather app, I don't even have news alerts from a news app. For some reason despite my settings saying it's off and reinstalling and restarting my phone this has been an issue for several months.

Well, after using this app for several years, I can still say that this is a great advertisement app, which also shows weather. I've almost got it down how much to scroll to bypass the ads when I want to see the difference between the hourly and daily weather. Switch between cities... watch an ad. Switch between days, watch an ad.

More ads than weather. IBM wants to siphon as much money as they can. You got to pay extra for a 'nice' experience. Fewer ads would get this app five stars. This many ads gets a lousy one star. edit Way too much white. No way to get a dark background. It's easier on the eyes to read/view data using white on a black background. As it is now I go snow blind while using this app. Where are the settings to adjust for personal preferences? This is the worst weather app to use. Now uninstalled.

Stop with the adds. Putting an ad in every possible place is making the app not only difficult to operate, it is irritating beyond all belief. It seems every time I open it ads have been squeezed into a new place. You go from page to page and it actually pops up with almost a spam like add page of it's own. You have to X out of it and you can only hit the X or it brings you to the adds page. STOP WITH THE ADDS

Great tools, but... This app is probably single-handedly responsible for climate anxiety. At least one notification a day about something that is AGW related. I get it, the problem needs to be addressed. But really...I just want the weather from a weather app. 2024 edit: this app is now so laden with ads that I have uninstalled it. Between the 15-30 second ads for a 10 second weather video, or the ad that take up the entire screen with a countdown timer to close them, it has gotten ridiculous.

It is fairly accurate. Hard to see the weather radar because the right 1/3 of the screen is FULL of ADS. How can I see the radar with all that? I enlarged it to delete the ad at the top. It was immediately replaced with ANOTHER AD! Not to mention there was still the one in the middle and one at the bottom. Should not have to spe d this much time and thumb effort to see something. Waste of time. Will look for something else.

A crazy amount of ads, for one. I'm not usually bothered by ads littered through an app, but ads that pop up and don't let me immediately dismiss them? Absolutely one of the most frustrating things to deal with. Second, I turned off all notifications except weather ones. I checked. Three times. I didn't want any notifications that didn't have to do with severe weather in my area. What did I continue to receive? Popular articles. Popular videos. Weather in areas I don't live in. No thank you.

Info provided is great, very accurate. The stories are very captivating but the number of ads between stories is a killer to me. I understand ads keep the app free but this is absolutely ridiculous. Can't even watch a story twice, switchfrom stories page back to the home page or even look at radar without an ad. Dropping my rating to a 3 star because of the ads. If it wasn't for the radar accuracy, I'd drop this app.

The predictions are precise and usually correct, but man the notifications! Expect 10 or more notifications every day for all kinds of news, much of it not even related to weather. I tried to make my settings to where I only get notifications for local weather events but it wasn't able to. I'm a 35 yrs man who is somewhat tech savvy, so it shouldn't be that hard. So I've had to block all notifications, which isn't optimal.

I'm constantly getting notifications for news stories that I've got turned off in the settings. I leave notifications on for the app itself because I still want to get local WEATHER alerts. If I wanted news notifications, I'd download a news app. Contacted support, and they were of little help, finally just saying, "we're working on it." The app hasn't been updated in months... Unfortunately, compared to competitors, this app works best for my local area otherwise I'd switch.

The ads are a real problem. Not only are they too frequent they are inappropriate. For the last several weeks every time I go from one page to another (daily forecast, radar, weather videos) I get an ad that is just scandalous pictures. Not really sure what it's an ad for bc it has no words. I just have to wait for the x to appear. I am uninstalling this ap.

The weather forecasts are *usually* pretty accurate, but I get probably 15 notifications every single day for the DUMBEST things. Articles about covid, random non-weather issues, etc. A road that collapsed in a different state from me brought 6 notifications in 1 day. There's no way to turn those off, either. It's not ads, it's just their own articles they want you to read. Considered buying premium, but I would never spend money on an app that forces push notifications. Just give me weather.

I don't find the ads to be too intrusive. I like the way forecasts are presented. The weather map is ok. However, I only give 3 stars because the accuracy is ridiculously bad, especially with regard to precipitation. It often gets precipitation completely wrong (heavy rain vs. no rain at all) just 15 minutes into the future. Imho, that is a weather app's most important feature. It doesn't matter how good your presentation is if you're presenting bad data.

Gets the job done, but could be so much better. The notification menu is a joke. Nothing actually turns off unless you disable it in Android's notification settings. The forecast is also surrounded by a ton of unwanted news. I downloaded a weather app, not a news app. Further, would prefer if they could disable ads when your area is experiencing severe weather. I don't want to buy anything when my life could be in danger!
