I absolutely love this game! Addictive and fun, and even when you have to wait there are things to do!! Unfortunately it's also glitchy and crash happy. I've had to start over multiple times and have lost hours of gameplay as well as USD purchases. It doesn't play nice with Google Play, the only offered way to save your progress. The game has been around for quite a while so I'm extremely surprised that none of this has been fixed.

this game is great!! fun and relaxing mechanics, casual and not too intense, and just chill overall :) i'd give it five stars, but there's some glaring bug issues and performance problems: mostly small things except for the white screen of death that comes up after the dev logo and makes it impossible to play. even tried deleting the app and reinstalling multiple times and it still freezes. seen others complain about this too, is there a fix?

Edit: For the last couple of weeks, whenever I open the app it's just a blank white screen. I've tried everything... Restarting, clearing cache, erasing my game, uninstalling, everything... Still doesn't work. I'm so heartbroken. Original: Beautiful, engaging game. An absolute blast. I built my empty town from the ground up. Sadly, when my phone died I couldn't recover my save. Still loved it while I could play it.

Edit: White screen on open, and doesn't really fit in the screen well anymore. S10 Note. Will happily return 5 starts when white screen bug is fixed. Initial review: This game is beautiful, has depth, and has really good voice acting to boot! The craft system is really neat, and the need to keep things in balance adds a ln awesome layer of immersion. Peaceful, but a lot there to keep you engaged. Wonderful work of art, devs.

I love this game to pieces. It is such a blast and so satisfying to play through! Both times that I have played it over the years, it becomes completely unplayable and crashes immediately once opened. This latest playthrough I ended up trying to troubleshoot it myself and after a delete, reinstall, and loading my cloud save, I have lost months of character progress and my Eden Falls house and village progress as well as special items purchased through the ingame currency. Have to be done now :(

Came back to the game after a few years, expecting my save file to be intact since i had switched devices back then and it was fine, only to have to start all over. It's a game I enjoyed and the gameplay hasn't changed much so i was faster advancing this time around. That said, now that i have started over, everytime i start it up there's at least 15 minutes of near constant messages that google play services has stopped working, which has me worried for my new save data.

I really love this game, I would rate it higher but it has issues starting up. Sometimes it runs a little slow but still runs... other times its just a white screen for a while until my phone says the app has stopped. I really want to play but nothing I've done has helped, I've restarted the app, my phone and tried reinstalling it with no success.

Very fun game. I like how i can go back to previous camps and rewalk the trails to get more loot and craft more things thus leveling up and being able to get more money. I lag a bit though even on the lowest settings but I'm managing ***edit years later after coming back to it*** still a really fun game but performance issues in the app has gotten worse. Sometimes the town's shop thing won't load, sometimes it'll lag/glitch while crafting, sometimes the game won't even load.

I loved playing this game. It was addictive and fun. The only issues were the glitches that occur now and then. Then I got a new phone. Although I had linked the old one to my account, it forced me to go through the tutorial and then would not load my old account. If Kongregate could help with this I'd feel better and my rating would likely be four stars but after I played it for months and then lost all of my progress, my town, all of it.. it was too frustrating to give it four stars.

The game is great, addicting, and entertaining, the one star is not for the gameplay or content of the game itself but rather It's display functionality. The game doesn't fit the same in all screens of different devices, making the in-game menus along the edges of the screen untappable and there for the game unplayable. Menus that this happens are the crafting menu, the lever only halfway fits, the character menu, making it impossible to switch between the tabs along the right edge, inventory.

The good news is that there's always more to see. The bad news is that there are so many inventory loss bugs that you'll pull your hair out. Equipment, stacks of things, stuff you put in the trading crates... Things just disappear. Edit: still broken, and support doesn't answer the tickets in their system. Move along, it's not worth the frustration.

I'm loving this thing......I CAN'T PUT IT DOWN Edit: Years later and I'm back. This game is just as wonderful as I remember it being. It's calming and relaxing, which makes ot my choice game for passing the time. The art is fantastic. The scenery has caused me to stop my character and simply look out over the landscape more than once.. The characters all look lovely and have the rugged adventurous look to them. Overall, this game is just wonderful, and enough to pull me back after years.

This game is amazing, just the right amount of adventuring, inventory management, crafting, and town fun for me. :D Bad bugs such as: crashing every so often (more so today for whatever reason, almost unplayable at crashing about once every 10min), especially when i accept to watch an ad, and sometimes while on the trail! (which sends me back to the most recent camp i visited). Also the chalkboard never updates to what other players say on it (I have a friend who plays and tested it with her).

Extremely frustrating. You cannot craft on the trail so your bag is constantly over flowing til you get to camp. But if ANYONE at camp speaks before you, you get kicked out of your crafting menu immediately, and if you do not craft fast enough you lose your chance to sell, and if your bag overflows while at camp your items disappear. Not to mention it's hard to slow down or speed up, and rotate the camera- which you have to do a lot, making moments of gameplay almost impossible. Had to delete :(

I actually really enjoy this game. Fun, easy going yet challenging. Interested to see how it goes as I continue. (Been playing 2 weeks) Edit: game has been glitchy lately, items I craft will freeze and not drop into my bag and some items I will be unable to grab while on trail. Town crates will be "invisible" and currently game will not load at all, just a white screen.

I love this game so so so much. it's a great pastime and honestly I love the graphics and the collaberation feature once you get into a town. My problem is that I worked really hard and got super far into the game. and even made friends with some of the people who played with me, and then I got a new phone and nothing saved. I was signed in and everything but then it just completely deleted it. Great game imo but know you'll lose everything if you get a new phone.

In this game that you might try. You walk a trail. A fun trail, it's long. Sometimes boring, but it keeps bringing me back, you can meet different people. Pick up items from the ground, hunt rabbits and more. Theres a decent amount going on that you don't realize your grinding. Just simply playing the game. If you haven't already. Try it out for yourself! Me personally, I like realistic open world games with a bunch of buttons but this is a nice stress reliever
