Thoroughly enjoyed the game! Hacking games were a bit tough at times, but if you were patient they weren't so bad. Lots of ads were watched, though. The story is compelling and I got really attached to the characters! Question for the devs- would there be the possibility of a chapter select after beating the game? Or the ability to replay with skipping the hacking? I guessed the person at the end incorrectly, and I want a second shot to see the "surprise"!

I really love this kind of game!!! The characters are fun and the affects are spooky. The only problem i have with it is that it keeps stopping and going black screen. I have to keep exiting out of it then open it again. I like the game so much though I keep doing it. As the game went along the bugs fixed itself. I just finished the game today and it is FANTASTIC!! This is definitely my favorite so far!! Great job guys!!!

So far this is still an engaging texting/chat based game. Some of the acting in videos is great, some not so much. I found a bug that causes the game to get stuck if you close the app partway through a conversation, which forces you to restart. My biggest complaint is that, even after paying 8.99, the game still encourages you to watch ads. The hacking mini-game really doesnt belong anyway.

The story is intriguing and it uses different media platforms throughout. The actors are great and interesting. It holds your hand a little when it comes to adding people to chats but it isn't that bad. I don't mind paying for the game, but I absolutely HATE the minigames. It takes away from the story and most of them are just frustrating because it feels like you run out of moves so quickly. I just want the story. Not spend time on meaningless minigames. Without them, five stars all around

Between the ability to see all media and the bics to play games it's a huge moneygrab. I thought people were kidding about the mini games beings impossible to pass without spending or watching several ads, but it's absolutely true. The amount of one color blocks needed to finish a game will often not show up in the entire level so it is literally impossible to pass it (I've counted them!). The story itself is slow and not very original. It's just ok.

Mini games are the true horror. The story is pretty good and the visuals are great. However, the mini games are so boring and seem designed to make you buy Bics. Not only do you always seem to need a few more turns, the number of games you need to complete each round are ridiculous. Even if I didn't curse every time the conversations start sounding like a mini game is coming, they make no sense. I master hacker that never hacks, but has a random student do it.

Very well written story. The text based experience is very well developed, I have seen other games with text based stories but the addition of the supernatural elements as well was very well used. There were many instances that I didn't expect with the plot line. Surprises me every time. Can't wait to play more of the developers games. The hacking aspect of the game can be tiring if you don't want to spent money and wait if you jeep failing at the puzzles. Thank you, the developers.

The hacking mini game is the worse. Starts off simple and as kind of a nice break but gets repetitive and unbeatable at times unless you watch a bunch of adds. For instance, you will have to clear 30 blues but only 10 will show up before you run out of moves. I paid for the full version of the game but I'm still having to watch over 100 ads. Still haven't beat the game stuck on a hacking level where I have dropped around 90 gold coins and still haven't beat it. Don't waste your time on this game

Really great game with a whole ton of mystery. I love how realistic it is and the storyline is great. Once you unlock the HANS minigames and get further into the game though, the levels become extremely difficult and I often had to take a day or more trying to get through just a single level. It can becoming very frustrating when all you want to do is find out what happens next and you literally can't progress. Even watching videos every attempt doesn't work and it's difficult getting bics.

(You will have to spend money!!) This is the only game of theirs that I've been able to get past like 2 levels lol, usually it's wayyyy too difficult to even play. This one is doable, only when you get towards the end you basically can't pass the levels unless you have plenty of coins and time. But aside from that part, it's a great game, fantastic idea I just wish they made them easier so you can actually finish it 💀 or in the case of their other games, play it.

Edit- updating my review to 3 stars 😒 I really do love this game. It's so fun to follow the storyline and crack the case. However the hacking part gets a bit annoying.. and there's also a glitch sometimes where you get the amount of stars, continue the story, exit the app and come back later, and all that progress is not saved. It makes me start back at the beginning of that "pranklord" part as if I didn't get any stars from hacking. Very frustrating, please fix and I'll update my review

I've deleted my old review. While it's still annoying to need more moves or not get the proper shapes, I do have to give the team credit. The game glitched and quit working. The game designers got me back as close as I was in the game. I'm glad I didn't have to start all over cause that was a lot of puzzles that would've caused me to rage quit

I was enjoying the story part of the game. I even paid the $8.99 to avoid ads and such and unlock the full story. The annoying "hacking" mini games still cost "bics" and lives despite this. The mini games greatly detracted from the experience. If there was a way to just purchase the game so I could skip the mini games, I would do it. But there isn't, so I'm uninstalling

Very slow to start but I'll update as I go on. *UPDATE* Stopped playing rather quickly. Probably 2-3 weeks of daily play. Not only are there an immense amount of ads; but it's nearly seizure inducing graphics. I tried to like it. I really did! The story was inviting and interesting and the puzzles are challenging. I just couldn't get past the ads and graphics.

Had gotten all absorbed into the game knocking out the mini games because though frequent they were enjoyable... HOWEVER the problem is when you "fetch award" for completing something at 100% it never shows up and what's more frustrating is that all the progress I made in the game/mini games for it to take me back to nearly the beginning while in the middle of a mini game!!!! It totally shut down and when I reopened it I was like what happened!?!?!

This game, like the others of the publisher I have played so far started out great. It's easy to get into the storyline and while the minigames in this one are a bit harder than usual, it was still managable. Sadly, since today I cannot start the game anymore. It says there is an error with the app. So, I re-installed the game (and lost my progress in doing so) but it still says the app is faulty and closes it right way... I hope this will be fixed soon

Went from 4 to 3 stars just now. The game is good but I recently encountered some problems. Sometimes when I klick on the chat notifications, the text or video dose not show up in the chat and for a few days now, when I close the game, I have to redo puzzles I already finished or have to redo lots of conversations too. Just finished 65% of puzzle requirements, closed the game, came back and have to restart at 50%, that kinda sucks, fix it pls.....

The story is good, but all the side games are really annoying. It is to the point I am ready to quit. It gets really ridiculous..... You will just finish the hacking(playing side games) and get back to the story, and no sooner it wants you to hack again(play side games). If you are pushing the side games for money, then at least give options to watch commercials as a way to skip some of them. Limit the amount it takes away from the story and makes you not want to finish the game.

I'm playing this until the follow-up to Duskwood comes out, and while I'm invested in the story I do reluctantly admit that an option for ads would be a nice alternative to paying so much to play the game. I don't mind the mini games, but after a while, they do seem impossible to beat without throwing some change in the pot. *Updated review: the mini games make the game take way too long to get through, and you'll spend a bus load of $$$ to just finish the game.

No matter what I do the game keeps glitching and refuses to load any ads so I can complete the puzzles in order to continue the story. It keeps telling me "no videos available at this time" over and over again. I can't beat the puzzles without a little help sometimes and I was so looking forward to playing this game all the way through but unfortunately I can't now as I'm stuck.
