Great game that keeps me wanting more puzzles so I bought the Room 2! I completed the game in about 3-4 hours, and that is the ONLY downside to it. No controller support, and only touch screen controls are available in game, but I used a stylus that made the rotating of visual puzzles easier. I almost bought all the room games on my Steam PC account, but found these Android versions are considerably cheaper and play perfectly.

I've played the VR version on the Quest and really enjoyed every aspect of the game. I'm still hoping they release another version, so while I was waiting I found this game. It's just like I was playing the VR version again. I'm enjoying every minute. The puzzles keep you engaged , and the storyline is just creepy enough to keep you wondering. The graphics are stunning and make you wish the game would continue forever. Can't wait to play the other versions as well.

Really superior to any other 'escape room' kinda game. This is in a league of its own. It is hard enough to where you feel a sense of accomplishment, but not so hard that it's aggregating. There are (free) hints if you get stuck. And the hints don't just point you to the answers but guide you. I will buy every other game there is in this series and any other like it from the developer. These games and puzzles actually make sense.

Thought the game had great atmosphere, enjoyed the little hints of story littered throughout, but I personally found it a little too easy and way too short. Considering it was only $1, that's not that bad. However, I feel since this is the first in a series, it should have been free as a better hook. Now I'm just nervous about buying the others. The prices only increase and I have no way of knowing if the game length increases with it. $5 for the same game length would be much too expensive.

Really fun puzzle game. A lot of the difficulty comes from finding where the next puzzle is or where something goes, rather than from the difficulty of the puzzles themselves, but the ideas are unique and interesting. Design of the boxes is awesome and the story is interesting. Only complaint is sometimes being too dark to see things unless on full brightness. Will definitely be buying the next iteration though! Great entertainment and appreciate the lack of ads!

Absolutely brilliant. If you miss escape rooms or wanted an escape room longer than an hour, you have it. Progressive, non intruding clues when stuck, awesome gfx and satisfying clicky/geary noises when poking about. However, -1 star for not allowing music/sound options. The music is creepy at night (my wife demands it turned off) and I just want sound. But I have to play muted instead of just turn off music :(

Yep, not much bad to say about this one. This game is a level of sophistication above most others of this genre. The sound effects and music created a nice suspense/creepy vibe, the puzzles were varied, interesting and challenging, and it was visually stunning. There were two minor issues worth mentioning. Firstly, there is a point where you pick up a gear and place it into a mechanism. I found that if I restart the game, I could pick up that same gear again, even though it wasn't visually present. I could then place it into the mechanism, on top of the previous one. Secondly, I accidentally hit the Hint button twice. I'd prefer if it were laid out differently to make that less likely. These are minor issues, however, and do not detract from the game at all. Just an awesome game.

I love engaging puzzles and this has some of the best. A great mix of easy and difficult puzzles, with a pretty engaging storyline, and elegant visuals/animations. My only suggestion would be to balance the world lighting. Because the in-game light is one directional, I have to turn my screen brightness all the way up to see the shadowy sides of the objects. Overall it's a stunning series and it's at a great price too!

I have played several mystery type puzzle games...but this is by far the most awesome game ever. From just reading the reviews and watching the video, I purchased it right away. OMG! The 3D graphics and the way you maneuver around the box it amazing! The game is quite challenging.... I may have to walk away from it for a bit cuz I'm stuck...but when I go back I figure the next step or find a missing piece. I absolutely love it! Cant wait to play the other games. Hats Off to the Developers. 👍

The Room is an interesting puzzle game, feeling almost like a reverse escape room, where you're breaking into something rather than escaping a room. It had clever puzzle mechanics, and it never veered towards becoming thoroughly unreasonable or requiring a walkthrough. It didn't entirely "hit" for me, though, as there are many instances where I felt like I was simply clicking around until I found something I could do to make progress, without having a clear plan or intuitive connection.

Wow! This is an incredible value for a dollar. It's pretty short, but there's some really neat stuff and incredible visuals packed into a day or two of off-and-on gameplay. If you're familiar with puzzle terminology, The Room features a series of "procedural discovery" puzzle boxes, meaning all the tools and clues needed to succeed are revealed by the box itself through a series of sub-puzzles. If you get stuck, it's simply because you haven't found something hidden elsewhere in or on the box. If you're still stumped, a series of hints are offered for each step, which point you in the right direction without spoiling the solution completely. Although I encountered a couple instances where textures were blurry or pixellated, the 3D graphics are superb for the most part, and present a very immersive experience. There was one point where I got really stuck even after revealing all 3 hints, and it turned out to be a problem with a combination lock. I had already entered the correct combo, but for some reason had to clear and re-enter it to get the game to register it. For this I can't give it a full 5 stars, but I still heartily recommend the game.

For a dollar it's a great game, puzzle, and purchase. Is it the best puzzle ever...no but it gets your brain working. I'd say the first "chapter" or 2 are perfect but then it gets to a non user friendly place after that, in terms of knowing what you can or can't interact with. Blah blah blah I'm dumb and I needed hints to solve the last half of the game.

Nice! Love that there are no ads so much 🥰. Little by little. Just great. Kind of hard on the eyes (very dark) and too bad my Spen won't work with it, as the zoom and revert from zoom seems to lag a little from swipes, especially frustrating when you have to go back and forth in a hurry. But overall, a complete win! Thanks for a fun game.

Well worth the money. Some of the difficulty in the puzzles comes from the poor lighting and limited visibility on a small screen. Perhaps that is part of the charm. Once you find each clue, it is usually pretty obvious what to do with it. The game is fun and engaging. There are hints available that are just enough without being spoilers. No ads.... Not even for the hints. I would definitely consider buying some of their other apps.

This is by far the best game I have ever played in the history of smartphones. It's challenging, but I don't find myself questioning my brain functions, lol. There is no extortion scheme getting me so invested then telling me I have to pay to get any further. The esthetic of the graphics wakes the senses. I can smell the essence of wood, feel the coldness of the metal, and the warmth of the fire. It's actually kind of weird since the games I grew up with were plastic and paper.

The exact opposite of the typical Room Escape game; instead of trying to get out, you're trying to get /in/ -- into increasingly small boxes. Delightful puzzles, very helpful hints (that don't just give away the puzzle), and a beautiful aesthetic and mystery that totally draw you in! It's a little spooky, so be prepared for that!

This is one of the first games I played after playing through the nostalgic Dragon Quest ⚔️ series during the pandemic. I'm glad I branched out to this game. It doesn't have much of a storyline 📖 besides esoteric letters left in the puzzles . However there is a sense of satisfaction after completing each one and I'm glad I didn't have to look up any thing online as the game does provide its own hints when it sees you're stuck. I may play a sequel but now I'm busy with Play Pass' ▶️ games.

The game is beautiful and maybe the story is cool. I wouldn't know because I made it about 3 levels in and just deleted the game. Idc that I wasted a little money on it. No big deal. But I spent more time wrestling with the zoom and turn and select controls than what I did playing the game. It was awful. I'm not going to give it a horrible rating bc maybe I just suck, but I don't want to play a game that has me wanting to throw my phone into a lake.

Company contacted and it was an easy fix. I literally had to flip my phone over so my rt screen side was now on my left... Have contacted the company so this review score may change. I have never given such a low rating, but I couldn't get past the 1st part where you drag the key to the box. Everytime I tried to drag the key, it would disappear, regardless of angle or speed, it never worked. It was the tutorial, so I know that key went to that box. Also because I couldn't go anywhere else.

Good puzzles, mostly not too hard or easy. A couple were really tough. Some were a bit annoying cuz you have to be in perfect position, or you check the hints and it tells you to do exactly what you are already doing and it's just at slightly the wrong angle. Overall a fun short game, worth the purchase. Really liked the epilogue (it crashed when it was trying to play it, but did fine on reopening), I think it's the best part of the game actually
