Over the past 6 months I've sent them close to 300 pieces. Recently I've noticed a MAJOR problem with their pricing system. I sent them a brand new Versace jacket worth $7800, and it was listed and sold for $516. $516!!!!!!! Anywhere else online right now it's currently being sold for $3500. All attempts I've made to reach ANYONE have failed and gone completely ignored. I just don't get it. Everyone is losing money in this situation, both me AND them. Makes no sense.

Love the site, but the app is awful. In order to browse the site on my phone, I deleted the app. It limits the saved searches to just one page, makes you sign in every time you want to use it, and does not allow the use of a password safe. Super painful for an app that should promote a good customer experience.

CHARGED EXTRA, PROMOS NOT HONORED! I specifically signed up due to the 2 promos for new accounts, free shipping on first orders and $25 credit. They charged me $16 for shipping! I never would've ordered if I knew their 'free shipping' was bait & switch clickbait! I contacted them in which case they were rude and redundant. They offered NO HELP therfore I wanted to return them but they charge a ton for returns too! THEY REALLY STICK YOU WITH UNEXPECTED FEES! NEVER TRUST THIS DISHONEST SITE!!

Awful customer service! Keeps declining all of my payment methods (even though they work fine on other platforms like Grailed, Poshmark, Depop, and Ebay). Worked when I created a new account, then my order got canceled by them with no explanation. Someone else ended up buying it. There is no way to reach customer service. By far the worst platform I have used. Just a total waste of time.

Search feature is absolutely frustrating. Doesn't matter what you select in the search it loads the broadest search unless you type the full word phrase and carefully before clicking the hourglass. Why does the customer have to filter out sold items! Please remove that as a default feature. No one is interested in items that have been sold. Shipping times are so infuriating. 2 days for prep time and 5 days to arrival.

When trying to open this app for the 1st time after downloading it, the 1st screen doesn't load, it freezes, and a prompt told me: "This app has a bug. Try clearing the cache and then try to open the app again".... After these attempts failed, I then got this prompt: "Something went wrong with The RealReal. Try updating this app after the developer provides a fix for this error" Please fix ASAP !!

On AndroidOS final sale alerts don't show up so be EXTREMELY CAREFUL. Agents are combative, accusatory, and rude. Dial-up speed, glitches galore, &no way to browse by category. You have to look up items by name & get odd results. Tops under jewelry, etc. Details in photos are unclear - too heavily backlit&blurry. Descriptions don't match items - awful quality control&authentication. Drains battery very quickly. Switched back to eBay&other 2ndhand sites.

I love the idea and layout of the app. But literally every time I use it it crashes. Typically when I'm trying to '❤ like' something. A feature that can save your sizes would be nice as well, like poshmark does. I haven't tried the seller side yet but I'm reluctant to try it if buyers can't save things for later.

App update was required. I updated and still receive the update message. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same issue persists...NO access to the app just an endless loop of update requirements. To boot, of the three items I've ever returned each refund was wrong and I had to call (which was an adventure in and of itself) to have them adjust my credit.

The app itself isn't great, but I'd learned to work around it. The most significant issue now is how much they're charging these days!! For USED pieces, no less. It's outrageous. Laughable, even. Being a well seasoned high end shopper, I can tell you right now you're way better off buying new. Between seasonal sales and authorized discount retailers, you're sure to get a better price AND it'll be guaranteed authentic (I've received fakes from TRR before). Oh, not to mention NEW.

Doesn't let you save searches which is really annoying. Everytime I leave the app and then come back I have to start my search over including choosing all of the filters and refine options because they don't ever stick. Also doesn't let you save sizes. I don't know why they designed the app like this. It is inconvenient to use.

I get many notifications from the app about sales, a specific designer or "that bag you wanted", but when I click the notification it takes me to completely unrelated page. I can never find what the notification was talking about. It's very much just click bait. The notifications very much interest me but the pages it always sends me to don't. It's quite frustrating.

The background for the pictures is terrible. Can their photographers get any more generic with a whiteout background drop? The women's clothing is on men mannequins and vice versa. The app is not easy to navigate you put in your options under refine and nine out of 10 times I had to reset it because it said that there was no clothing under my size small and shoe size 8 in women's. They have cute stuff if you can get past the fill out what you want and size you wear and have it load properly.

Hopefully after the latest update is installed the app will be able to process search filters and browsing categories better. Also the, 'shop' task leads alot to be desired. Based on what window, if you will, that you have open the app operates and filters requests differently (hard to explain), and it can be frustrated. However, I love that pictures of the items are displayed when you browse your order history. This was a nice touch!

Attempting to refine your search for anything is futile. It seems like once you apply a single filter you can't apply anymore, regardless of being able to select them, your choices don't stick. Also searching for a particular style of anything, like a square toe shoe, doesn't yield results. Please fix the search word options and also the refining features. I'd prefer to use an app instead of the website but until those are fixed, I'll stick to the normal website.

This is, hands down, one of the worst apps ever! The app signs you out EVERY time (super annoying!!). The interface is like the desktop version of a 2010 shopping site. The search results don't really show up, you have no way of knowing how many items they have in the results, and no way to intuitively browse through categories unless you "search" for specific items. The app really makes you never ever want to shop from this site.

I used to love this site. great sales, super fast shipping. But the app sucks lately. Not only is it useless to try and look at anything white bc they photograph against hyper-white backgrounds (like trying to find a pile of powdered sugar on a snow storm) but if you click on something to look at the details or BUY IT, the app takes you back to the top of the page when you go back. So all those pages of scrolling? guess what. and where the hell is the cart? I can't check out bc it's hidden now?

Site is great. App is annoying. They have great products and amazing customer service. Unfortunately, the app sends a LOT of annoying notifications with no way to configure them. I had to block all notifications on my phone settings. Would be nice to get order or sales updates, but I'd rather not have to be spammed with all their ad promotions on my notification bar to get them.

The app is heavily geared toward buyers. Not so much for sellers. It is extremely frustrating because the app will only show your sales as a dollar amount. I can not see my consignment items anywhere in the app. Also, in order to track the progress of my items, I had to save a specific email and keep referring back to it. I also do not feel like this company gives fair evels of items. Very disappointing experience. I will not be selling with them any more.

ANDROID DEVELOPER- The pop-up ads and push notifications STILL do not point to the advertised Obsession sale item. It points to a page of unrelated sale items, spins until I close the app, or I receive an error message that reads that it cannot load the product. I does not cancel the error window unless you completely back out of the app. I reported this six times and was told to reinstall the app. It's the app, it's not user error. Issue still in effect on 2/7/25.
