The app itself is great when it works, but at the moment, it is stuck running at a lower version of Android and doesn't work with newer phones like the pixel 5 Edit: this game has been patched to now work with the new Google Pixel 5. Back to 5 stars!

The game is good, but I tried using a controller, and the movement stick had some calibration issues with the game, and when I removed the controller, the on screen buttons are no longer displayed, and I can't bring them back...

Great game that brings the arcade to your fingertips in a surprisingly small size. The AIs are a bit unforgiving and the joystick is a little difficult, but it is otherwise a fun game to play.

I wish it wasn't a simple arcade port but a remaster with higher resolution sprites and widescreen support. For the rest, the gameplay and user interface translate very well to mobile. It brought back good old memories... KOF'98 deserves an HD remaster and bring KOF13 to mobile!

This is 6/10, overall a pretty lazy port, I played this with my moga xp5-x+ controller. The menus are ugly, the only modes available are training and arcade, and the diagonal inputs don't work on the anolog stick.

This game is a great representation of the classic game. Everything down to how the fighters fight, music, and places. One thing that the game is missing is the different difficult at fighter selection. Great game enjoy it still

Now works for Android 11!! Gotta hand it to SNK for updating their games. This port even does some things better than the ACA games; it has a training mode, a special moves button, etc. My only complaint is that the button mapping can be kinda weird.

I would really appreciate ggpo or Fightcade implementation. PLEASE DO THIS that is my biggest statement. I use a Steelseries Stratus duo and a 360 fightstick, it is going well for practice. I want them to rejuvenate 98 by adding online support on android cross platform with PC.

It's good but the experience seems off. Porting a classic game to Android seems to be a good idea but in the process it's not. The experience just feel off, I love the gameplay, mechanic, characters and all, but it just feel off because it was not properly ported somehow.

Does not work on Android 11 - it's a great game and would love to pay for it, but gonna have to emulate unless they fix the problem EDIT - They fixed it! Game is amazing, lots of new stuff too like achievements etc - even tho my two fave characters don't pop up in '98, it's addictive as hell, highly recommend

Excellent game. Would give it 5 stars but unfortunately the controller support is a bit wonky, unable to get the ps5 dualsense controller to work properly. No matter which controller scheme I try, the circle key always fails to bind, giving me an "invalid button" error. Support for the ps5 dualsense controller would be greatly appreciated, or at least make sure the keys A,B,C,X,Y,Z are all in the allowed keys whitelist. Specifically "C", which the circle button on the dualsense is bound to.

When connecting a XBOX One controller via Bluetooth, the analog stick does not work properly. I tested the same controller in another videogame and it works just fine. When using the touch screen works OK, but limits so much this excelent Fighting Game.

I love kof so much. It's a shame that it doesnt function very well. It warmed me that it was designed for an older version of windows but it's almost unusable. I can't edit the left half of the controls. When I press a it moves the joystick. The kof a 2012 app is a good replacement, though.

Nostalgia all the way! Only problem is the Virtual joystick, the Z and the quarter circle motion sometimes doesn't execute. Bluetooth multiplayer doesn't even work. If you want the full experience of this game in mobile, play it with a Controller. Overall, the game is good.

after playing a while mame for windows and android, this version , feels a little buggy, more like a beta version... if the timer reaches 0 , kinda freezes and goes back to 99... also they could have done so much.. but its just the arcade with make up and again some weird stuff... what you could have done?, like the neogeo home console, single play, for starters, more button configuration, some clasic songs from 94,95 etc... Alsoooo I couldnt play with the hidden Terry, wich should be there

This game is definitely a classic. It has incredible sprite work, as well as an impressive roster of characters. Unfortunately not including Vanessa, my personal favorite KOF character. I still prefer KOF 2000, and 2002 in terms of classic SNK fighting games but still very solid, and quite responsive for a mobile title. Not perfect however but no port to mobile traditionally is. With the awkward touchscreen controls being my only real issue.

It is frustrating because the controls are really difficult on cellphone than it was in arcade back in the days. The friction in the screen fuels your frustration because you cant move well on play. You cant perforn great combos, even the simple skill like there power skill is hard to make because there is no joystick and you need to perform the circular movement motion on your thumb. I used to love this game. I still love it, but it doesnt bring the satisfaction I had.

Not gonna say it's perfect but I was really suprised how well this played. Recently got 2002 UM on steam so I redownloaded to get a bit more practice with my characters in an earlier game. The virtual stick isn't perfect, but it's manageable, I can combo fairly well with it and Kyo's rekka comes out consistently enough. Might play really well if you have one of those controllers for the phone.

Though better than a few other versus games out there, the controls are still lacking. The SP button at times does not do what is expected and is very limited with only 3 special moves per character. It is hard to connect normal punches and special moves to create combos. On the other hand, KOF 2012A has such excellent controls I can execute high damage or one kill combos for all characters. It is great that EX characters like Omega Rugal, Orochi Team etc are all playable in this game.

SNK, please fix the physical controller issue, more specifically the stick issue. I can't jump sideways, only up. Also, I'm using a GameSir G2s controller. All buttons work just FINE, I only have stick issues with it. I can't perform a few moves, because of this, while some specials are done normally. The ONLY THING I'm asking for is that the game recognizes jumping sideways and half-moon forward and backward. That's all.
