The puzzles can be very entertaining. However, the frustration with controls and are you zoomed in right, and moving items can be VERY Frustrating. Like I tried that 10 times, but I didn't swipe quite right. Getting view angles takes skill. Can you move here, nope, turns out you actually can just have to touch screen better. Is the game worth 5bucks, yes, but be prepared for non gameplay related puzzles.

Wonderful sequel! Gameplay is smooth and it makes you think. It is just as good as the first story. I was disappointed at the ending though. It left me wondering what the outcome was and if there will be a third installment to tie everything together. Still, well worth the time and price spent! Well done Blue Brain!

I enjoyed the story very much. I like the way it has been developing and continuing from the first. For the length of the game it kept me immersed and interested. The puzzles were challenging, but not so frustrasting that I'd abadon the game. My only real complaint is that during the more intricate puzzles I had some trouble isolating the correct piece to move. Overall it's a great game for the cost. Very well done.

I love puzzle games and this one did not disappoint. Just the right amount of difficulty to make it difficult without being maddening like Myst was for me. If you like puzzle games I definitely recommend this one, though I highly recommend you play the first one before playing this one. Both are worth the money. My only complaint would be the inability to independently change the volume of the voices. This is only a small concern though since there are subtitles. Great game!

One chapter in and the game is prompting me to rate it, so guess I will: so far, this game could really do well to learn that less is more when it comes to rendering people in a puzzle game. Half the content so far is an awkwardly animated npc blabbering at the player while looking in a random direction, with mediocre voice acting. Who knows, maybe the game will get better further in, but I don't have high hopes. Edit: no, auto-response bot, this is not an issue with gameplay or puzzles. lol

I don't usually pay for games but I said what the hell and purchased it. Guess I'm going to have to purchase the first one too. This game is great. I really like the challenge of the puzzles they weren't impossible but took some time and brain power. Graphics and animations were amazing. Would recommend this to puzzle lovers.

This is one of the most frustrating escape room type games I've played. I'm pretty early in the game, and I've already got stuck on multiple occasions, asked for a hint, and found out I had already tried to do the correct thing, but I must have been a little off in what I was touching. The controls are finicky in a way that you're constantly wondering if you're stuck, or just tapping something a tad wrong. Pretty, though.

Edit - played through again, really intriguing game, definitely recommend! I loved the 1st so I purchased the second. I completed chapter 5, and when I logged in today my profile was gone?! It a great game, and I would recommend it, but losing your progress in a game like this is very discouraging and Idk if I want to do ALL of that again...

Great continuation of the story. Puzzles seemed to range from som fairly ones to much harder. They added chacters playing out the storyline which was nice but not the strength of the game (graphics of the characters not as good as puzzles). Don't mind the movie format as it changed things up a bit. Can't wait for the next one.

Finally finished this so I could give a proper review. Every complaint I had over the 1st game was amplified in this one. While I enjoyed the 1st game, I did not enjoy the 2nd. The movement made me feel nauseous, sometimes I would tap or swipe in areas and it won't work, then I would come back later and that exact spot will suddenly work, 2 items are glitched (key and triangle block key), and I had to brute force some puzzles because they made no sense. At this point I won't try the 3rd game.

OUTSTANDING graphics, puzzles. More than just puzzles, you really need to think. I LOVE games like these. I don't care anything about the story. Sorry, I just love to play for the brain puzzles. I did have to use the UTube walkthrough, but only for some puzzles I just couldn't figure out. Sometimes, I just needed to know how to start it and was able to figure the rest out. This is definitely one of the BEST GAMES. I would love to find more games like this. Thanks for all the hard work.

The game was fun and well made, though I didn't enjoy it as much as the first. The graphics and most of the puzzles are top notch, but it felt shorter (maybe I just played it faster?) and there were too many puzzles (like the Rubik's cube style puzzles) where you know exactly what to do, it's just a pain to actually do. Just a personal preference, but I like the puzzles where the challenge is in figuring out how to solve it, not just getting frustrated getting something from point A to point B

Some puzzles are great, they make sense and are very well thought out, others seem like they're just to waste your time. You have to pick up on small details but sometimes those same details won't matter and the controls can be your enemy. One room I got trapped for awhile because I kept trying to click on potential clues, only to be met with a LONG walk down or up stairs and then a walk back. The storyline and graphics are great but controls could use some work for the amount of small details.

Was more challenging then the first and great storyline. Fun and creative puzzles was a lot of fun and some parts really a challenge but still fun and feels great when you finally get past it. A little longer then the first one, took me 9 hours 58 mins this time, again only know cause it told me. Would be great if it was longer though, but i guess they just want us to get part 3 lol. Good enough I am gonna play 3 and would buy it, but was free with play pass.

I want to give this 4.5 stars and only losing half a star because some of the controls can be a little finicky (at least once causing me to give up and get a hint because apparently i didnt touch my screen in just thenright way to activate something). The overall theme and gameplay are fantastic. The puzzles are delightful and generally self-explanatory (as much as puzzles are). The few that i didn't get right away were often met by "oh duh!" moments after getting through them.

This is a great addition to the HOD games. This one is even more story-driven than the first, with more video cut scenes. Those cut scenes aren't as life-like as the rest of the game, but they add a nice element to the overall narrative. Compared to the first game, and similar games like it such as The Room series (highly recommended!), this has excellent graphics and sound. My only complaint is I noticed a few issues with inventory item manipulation and combination that were frustrating.

I hated the first game, only for it's infinitely frustrating controls (on Samsung A2). But this one made a LOT of improvements. There's still some spots where you will find that you've been doing the correct thing for a long time with no results, simply because you didn't move an object at precisely the right angle. The story is good, the atmosphere and puzzles are gorgeous. Most of the puzzles were great. A few too hard, a few too easy. Def worth buying

The House of DaVinci 2 is incredible. The graphics alone are worth playing the game but, the interaction and the depth of the story and the puzzles are insane so well thought out and put together. I'm on my way to play House of DaVinci 3 and I certainly hope that after that, there comes more. I will truly be sad when it is all over. if the owners and writers and makers of this game see this review... Please keep making games like this They're my favourite and these are the best I've ever found.

I find myself frustrated by the controls and sometimes inexplicable puzzle solutions that I accidentally come across. Usually quite a fan of logic/puzzle games, but a fair number of the puzzles seem like trial and error, rather than logic-based. The voice acting and low-graphic-quality illustrations in this 2nd installment don't really add much, unfortunately. Overall a solid puzzle game, but VERY frustrating for quality and design reasons more often than not.

It's insane how many times I used hints. And how many times the solution was to find a tiny thing in a room that you could rotate. Why not guide players a tiny bit? It's often a guessing game where you just need to click everything to see what moves. Yet the hint system saves it. It's quite pretty with a few puzzles you'll enjoy. The setting and characters make it emotional at times. This is something The Room series could use. Puzzle wise it's lacking a bit.
