The payment system using a mobile device is horrable. Not user-friendly. It required too many steps, pages to complete the transaction. This is another problem with the App. I tried using several different forms of payment that did not work. I continue for two days... nothing worked. ... this was for a mothers Day present. Interesting, it worked a week later. Not happy and loss of business for them

App is still infuriatingly unresponsive. I uninstalled, then reinstalled a week or so ago. Opened the app and it just sits there on "set your store" with an apparent invitation to enter my zip code, but I try to interact with that input field and NOTHING happens. No keyboard pops up, no other response. I feel like an idiot tapping my screen with no response. This is consistent with 95% of my experience attempting to use this app. I've had enough.

Frustrating. Slow, clunky; navigation in app is dreadfully slow. Plan to spend A LOT of time trying to find items; you can filter, but it takes minutes for each one. Limited ability to zoom in on items to see details. Although I have set my store, any items I add to my cart are added to a different store. I have to remember to manually change store location for EACH INDIVIDUAL item. The website on a mobile device is more functional, although it shares some (frustrating) similarities with the app.

This app just straight up sucks all around! It is sluggish and slow with loading any pages or with trying to narrow down what item you are looking for in their Filter. The Check to See If I'm Store option wasn't even available. It was on the screen but grey colored and couldn't be clicked on. So if that is the case, why even have thet option on there then?! I can't uninstall this one fast enough.

App is effective but the connection to the mother ship is insanely slow. Every single line item requires you to select puck up, ship to store, ship to home, or delivery, and every time you change the fulfillment mode the app freezes, blinks and comes back to the item. but now in it's new category. I like the convenience and my orders are handled properly but I wish an order didn't take over an hour and burn 65% of my battery.

Generally a decent app with great functionality to view 95% of the same things on the website. Seeing an item's aisle/bay location is super useful when making a trip to the store. The recent problems I've had are: 1. Selecting product links from outside the app will cause that product page to never load. Sometimes this is true within the app. I always have to use the search bar and find it from there, now. 2. Clicking "track" on an order details page causes a tracking details fetching error.

I have been unable to log into my account using the Home Depot App. I chose forgot password, I received the verification code and entered it. I then chose a password that was at least nine characters with a special character, a number, a cap, and a capital letter, and there may have been one more requirement. However, I did everything correctly to no avail. I tried it 9 different times, and it kept giving me messages that I entered an incorrect password, and the same password.

Some locations aren't shown on the map, some items are listed in incorrect locations or bays that don't exist, the search doesn't exclude items that are out of stock by default, and the app is VERY slow in general. Overall, finding what I need still takes much longer than it should, and I often still need to ask employees. A nice feature would be an in-app shopping list that will then optimize your route through the store.

This app update is very slow and sluggish. I often wonder if I actually clicked on something. At first there is no response, then after a delay, the action starts or the screen finally changes. This makes it very frustrating to use. The share button no longer works. This app really needs to be repaired or converted back to the previous version.

app doesn't work well. for cubside pick-up it won't allow you to select a parking space, but it's required, so you have to call into the store and sit on hold. them they only brought out 1/2 the order and told me that was all I had. I showed them my emailed receipt, waited another 25 minutes for them to search the store, and then they found the missing pieces on a cart on the lumber side of the store. it's supposed to be easy, but it's faster to go in and be your own cashier! 😀

If in ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT.... Since the update, when my chosen item displays, the picture appears for about .5 of a second and then dissapears, I ordered from Amazon. The general consensus is, "the app is slow and sluggish"; we, who are in the construction business, utilize our cell service-phone about 90% of the time = the more animation and needless junk within the app, the slower the app runs. Please fix and/or, install a "WiFi/Cell" option that will minimize animation w/cell usage.

Any time I go to my orders and click on Track, I get Unexpected Error message. I removed the app and rebooted my phone but it didn't solve the issue. It is also annoying that every time I open the app, it asks if I am sure that my zip code is xxxxx. I chose a store that is 2 miles away from the one that is closest to me because that is my preference. And the worst thing is when I search for something, I view an items from the results, and when I hit back, everything goes away and I have repeat

1 star. If you need to search through your past orders to find a specific item you bought in the past, the ONLY option for searching by description is Begins With. This is a sign of lazy developers, who didn't even bother to let you search for key words. For example, light switch descriptions begin with a hundred different words, such as 15 amp, toggle, leviton, dimmer, light, lamp, wall, single, and the list goes on. The search is useless! It's easier to find it at Walmart, which is what I do.

If you want to search, filter, and drill down into the search results, use the website, NOT THIS APP! Otherwise, things like sorting will get reset to the default instead of what you chose. For example, do a search, sort by lowest price, and if it returns more than one page, when you go to page 2, they are no longer sorted by price. And if you switch between this app and something else, you get returned to the home screen when you go back to the app instead of to where you were.

This app is absolute garbage. Pages take forever to load, and interaction with the app is to the point of it being unusable. Beyond that, the layout of the app looks like it was made by a hyperactive child. Information and specifications about items is exceptionally hard to find, and often incomplete. And the visual content is beyond useless, you usually only get one angle and no ability to verify or even see features of items.

This app is awful now. It has always saved my store correctly with the option to change locations, which I sometimes had to do. The last few times, it has put things in my cart at 3 different stores using multiple zip codes. The closest location to me keeps showing up on the map 7 miles up the road and making all my nearest stores list appear from that area, eliminating my normal stores (2 - 4 miles away). Trying to reset to my normal store's locations was very cumbersome and frustrating! grrr

On the bright side, it saves driving time and makes it possible to shop at any hour. I can compare photos of new parts to the old parts that are still attached to the house. On the down side, the app can be slow and unresponsive at times, even on broadband and home Wi-Fi. Today's checkout experience was stuck in a login-verify loop. Search results are long and mixed. Sometimes I end up drilling down into categories to find what I need.

The app is beyond trash. We only have it to keep track of the HD credit card. Whenever we try to buy things for delivery or pickup, with the HD CC or any payment. The app just says, "Can't use this card. Try another. " Then it crashes, erasing the cart. Guess we'll just do things the old fashion way, since HD can't hire the right IT people.

This app is terrible! HD, your apps haven't been great in a while, but it's almost as if your developers challenge themselves to make each version worse than the last. It is deathly slow, disorganized (compared to how your stores are laid out) and just plain a pIn to navigate. Your associates know and acknowledge it too, not that they can do anything about it.

Your website is so hard to search. Especially to people who don't really know what they need. There were way too many things to click on, all I wanted to see some interior bedroom doors. Perhung, solid, paneled, etc. It's just a lot of unnecessary info. Search interior doors and a list of doors you have should have come up. But no....I had to click this, then click that, and then I was so lost.
