Was a fun game but it recently started doubling sometimes tripling the ads not in a legit way either theyll all start at the same time seems like theyre trying to scam us and the ad server. Sure you click the watch button for the gems, wheel or items you think your going to watch 1 30sec video but sometimes 2 or 3 of them pop up. At first it was maybe 1 of 10 but it seems to be happening more often.

I would give this game a 4-5 star rating if it wasn't for one huge issue. It's a game that rewards HEAVY grinding which is fine because for someone like me I love the grind. However I didn't play for about a month and it wiped nearly 6 months of progress and money. No update or anything. I just logged back in a month later being forced to create a new character for my same account with no items, levels, etc. Needless to say this made the game a complete waste of time for me.

For some reason it wont save stuff in my inventory even though I return to town. I will always be missing some gold items. I did pay for a starter bundle but it was not worth it due to all the gear I collected on my first run was better then the 99.0 package. Will not be returning to the game because there is some problems with the game.

Yeah, after a few weeks of playing, I am noticing the spin wheel is a cheap irritation. You can sit and literally watch it snail past the best equipment just to land on some material crud. Multiple times its done that. And you know it should have stopped on one of the weapons that were right next to each other, but it just slowly goes right over them and stops at the line making it give you the worst ever. Come on now. Loosing stars for that!! Probably gonna uninstall this one. It had its moment

I really want to like this game, but I keep losing my progress. It isn't by design unless the bugs are intentional. EG Using a scroll to go to town and then quitting. When you resume, it acts like you left a game in progress. If you resume, your scroll is gone. Basically it logs that you used a scroll, but doesn't return you to town. It's really obnoxious and completely takes the fun out of a loot-centric game. Imagine your favorite looter where you lose your drops at random. Very frustrating.

It's unplayable. There's no filter settings. I'm tired of picking up items and having to clear inventory. And also there's items that can't be used like carousel tickets...no information on getting a better fishing pole...just lost throughout the whole game. Improving items is now harder to do. Have to keep running stage 1 up until 41...because if you don't you have no health potions to clear with. To much time consumption in this game. No one likes this one or greedy cave 2. So game doesn't really crash for me, sometimes on startup but try again and it opens without any problems afterwards. Pretty fun to farm when offline. never bought anything, watched a couple of ads only for revive after silly deaths, and completed the game easy peasy. But I take a star off because game stats (esp luck) and skills and other extra mechanics (aka pets, cards) have no tutorial or explanation just ended up power stacking and brute forcing my way through.

The brief bit I was able to play was fun, but after exiting and coming back the game wouldn't load. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck. I've messaged the help desk and will update when I hear back. Edit: After updating my OS and the game, I can now play the game. It's a fun game following the "Don't Starve" aesthetic. Very much a rogue-like, don't expect to get to build a big hero without multiple ventures into the dungeon. Spend your resources, there's a minor learning curve as things aren't explained super well and you can't go back for tutorial notes (but those can be found elsewhere on the net). Over all I'd say it's a good time killer.

I am a fan of the game, it really could use an autoplay though and a joystick would be nice to move around instead of the other two options, the third would be appreciate it greatly. I have downloaded the game a few times and never gotten really far, this might be my third time downloading it and I have finally made it into the forties, the game just takes so much time.

I have been playing this game a long time and have had the pleasure to watch it grow as they haved updated it with patches. It is most certainly a 5 of 5. There are still a few minor faults, for example, there are a fair amount of grammatical errors typical of someone who learned English as a second language. These minor faults and bugs rarely, if ever, effect the gameplay. I stuck with a 5 rating because of the Devs worked hard to constantly improve the quality of the game over time.

I've been playing for about a month now, and find it really satisfying. However, ever since I updated to Android 10, the game has started crashing every time I attempt to fight something (which is a huge bummer). When it works, it's super solid, would recommend

One of my favorite games. Progression kinda slows down because to actually beat some of the bosses it's best to start like 40 levels before the boss so you can stock up on potions. This just gets really monotonous but besides that it's one of my favorite games. Simple to understand mechanics that still allows for unique ways to play and personalize your build.

As a RPG fan, i love majority of the options the game gives you to buold your character. One thing that I think could be improved is the difficulty curve. After a couple dungeons, you have to grind endlessly just to get past the ones. I get that grinding in this game is supposed to be fun, but level ups barely do anything, and it takes and extreme amount of time to get a single one, so about 98% of this game is grinding, not exploring new places. I would give 4.5 stars if I could. Still fun.

I found it deplorable that you can't take stuff with you from a dungeon "unless its a gold item". I went down three floors and amassed a full set of gear. I only was able to turn one item gold. I didn't see and got bored do I had to use my scroll of return. I lost all the components I found. I was hoping to be able to use stairs to return to the top level and sell the loot I found. If someone makes sense of how you can ascend without leaving the dungeon, I will change my rating.

really fun roguelike with quircky yet endearing animation and a just right difficulty scale. one thing it could definitely do to improve the QoL of the player is to add a "autodelete" system for looting. ive found myself a number of times going back several floors in order to stockpile potions and having to delete all the extra loot gets tiresome after a while.

*Edit* alright, it disapoints me that I have to lower my reciew score, but it needs to be done. This game is super fun, but when the game deletes your data and makes you restart MORE THAN ONCE, you have to draw the line, i dont want to delete my game, because at its core its an AMAZINGLY fun game, but if this keeps happening I will have no choice. Please fix this!

Pay to play. I really wanted to like this game. I love rogue lites and the visuals and gameplay are nice. But it's just way way way too pay to win. I don't mind paying for a game or paying to disable ads, I don't even mind optional adds for some extra stuff like they have for every level prize...but it's all that (minus pay to disable ads) PLUS a cash shop which is clearly the intended way to get the best items and levels. The bosses drop a huge crate with good items. You have to pay to get.

I had forgotten how you lose all progress with every update. How you are forced to start over from scratch if you don't play at least once a month or once every 3-5 updates. How you only get one cloud save ever that cannot be overwritten. How I've restarted from scratch at least 20 times now in the last 2 years alone, and am being forced to again simply because some updates occurred. I enjoy the game, but not so much as to replay the beginning grind over and over again. I'm done.

The first comment that I can make about this game is that it is very addictive. I haven't made any in-game purchases, so it feels as if it is taking forever for me to grind through the dungeon floors. But I am having a very hard time putting the game down. I continue to just try and acquire new equipment, level up my character, and fight whatever bosses that I encounter. Despite being a very heavily grind-based game, it really keeps the player engaged and willing to waste a ton of time as long as he or she can find one good piece of equipment. The game can be pretty punishing if you aren't lucky enough to find the proper items, but that makes the game feel much more rewarding when you do. The game mechanics are pretty simple and straightforward. By about level 11, every player should have a good sense of what the game entails and can find the strategy and playstyle that suits them best. Additionally, one can play at their own pace and has very few restrictions. I absolutely love the art stlye of the game. It has a very Tim Burton vibe to it, similar to Don't Starve. I actually had to question whether they were the same company or not. Overall, The Greedy Cave feels like a very complete game. Although it might not be for everyone, there isn't anything that I can think of that would make the game even better. It is a staple of its genre.

Great rogue-like dungeon crawler with a charming, Tim-Burtonesque art style. I haven't played in a while but I was so glad to see this game still up and running after all these years that I thought I'd change my initial review from "very fun" to this. The only thing that would make this game better is an original soundtrack composed by Danny Elfman (Elfman > Burton).Try this game.
