I go to TR a few times a week since I'm working out of town. Used to order to go when leaving work so it would be ready when I got back to the hotel. Past month the app let's you select all your items but when it goes to the payment screen it crashes. Getting a hold of someone on the phone to place a to go order is almost impossible as no one answers the phone. I like the convenience of having the restaurant in the hotel parking lot but have started going to Longhorn due to all the issues.

I've used this app several times over several months now. Scanning the qr code almost never works, so I always end up entering the code manually, which is faster anyway. The signature never works, so every payment gets submitted with an indecipherable scribble for a signature, which seems like a bad idea. A couple of times the app just wouldn't connect - was unusable. One time the payment submitted without with the tip percentage I chose, but there was no way to cancel/resubmit a corrected payment. Luckily I had cash to leave for a tip, which isn't always the case. Originally, there was a page that showed a history of my visits and payments through the app. This is gone now. I can't even see the payment I just made. Why would they take that away? This app seems to get worse over time.

Terrible update. I have been forced to used carry out dining since covid as we're caregivers for an 87 year old who cannot afford to get sick. I've been very happy with the previous app version. I used it weekly. This latest update is very hard to navigate through. I had to re-type my phone number 4 times during the check out process. Adding items was a pain. Please bring back the more intuitive and easier version.

Great app! This is one of the most detailed and thorough ordering apps I've ever used. Most apps don't allow you to choose such specifics. I am really glad that this one makes sure that you get exactly what you want. For example, there is an option to remove any item from a salad or even a seasoning from an item. It's wonderful! I love that most items have photos to help me decide. The app worked flawlessly, unlike some apps that glitch out in the middle of ordering. Love it!

Tried creating a profile. Filled out all the information. Would not let me select the create profile button. Password exceeded the minimum requirement of 7 characters. There were no other requirements given. Finally figured out it did not like my complicated password and had to make it more simple. Apparently they want passwords that are easy to hack.

Downloaded the new app since the old one was outdated. I can't use the app at all. It keeps telling me the server is unavailable and to check my connection, but I am on my wifi & all other apps work fine. I can't create an account, and I can't even continue as a guest since it needs me to select a location. Kind of hard to select a location when it tells me the server can't be reached & to check my network (which again, is not having any issues).

Update: After working with support, they told me to call the store if the waitlist feature doesnt work. Wow! What's the point of the app? The 'Get on the wait-list' feature is heavily advertised and supposed to be a great feature. Maybe it would be if it worked. Kept getting an error that it encountered a problem, so I just called in. Long waits occurred after pressing any button. Very slow and unresponsive. Not so related to the app, the restaurant wait times are off by nearly 30 minutes.

We always have a pleasant experience at this location. The new restaurant building is bigger and much roomier; just opened in this new building a few months back. The staff is definitely trained to cater to customers. The staff exhibits a sense of urgency to provide the customer with a satisfying experience. The food is always served hot and it's all great. They serve a variety of plates - chicken, steaks, even burgers, salads, kids plates. The ribs are especially tasty. All good in my book!

Terrible app. Really dysfunctional. Tried to order both online and through the app since I wasn't able to get anyone on the line when we called. The app crashes everytime I select "order to go." Every single time without fail. The first time I was able to get an order made but whenever I added the credit card to pay it told me the security number i was entering was not formatted correctly, but I was entering it correctly.

Just tried to place an order online. It declined my credit card because of something about billing address not matching? There was no option in the payment methods to add my billing address. I also checked my account profile and there was no address there either. I've never had success with using this app. There's always an error. Thankfully someone answered the phone and took the order. Usually we're told they don't do phone orders anymore and must use the app.

Waitlist info is never accurate. Everyt time we try to get on the waitlist, it says there is no wait. We arrive at the restaurant, and there is, in fact, a wait. Hostess told us the most recent trip that the app has about a 10 min lag. Well, we live about 15 min away, and i tried 3 different times to check in, to the app telling me there was no wait. This part of the app could be better.

Downloaded the app to place my first order ever, took 20 minutes going over the menu and placing my items in the cart. Entered a gift card and debit card and when I went to place the order, an error message pops up saying an error has occurred. I tried several more times and finally gave up. If you are going to offer a service, make sure it works before wasting everyones time! Update: I sent an email to them like they asked and noone has responded, they don't seem to actually care at all.

Best full service restaurant for to go orders. Always under 30 minutes, even with it being peak period. Very accurate ( 95% ). Only issue I've ever had is forgetting croutons and a dressing. Which they had to me in less than 2 minutes. I order to go at least 3 times a month. Keep up the good work! Store location is West Town Mall Knoxville, TN

The app is great. It's just making sure that the restaurant reads what is on the receipt that they print to make sure that they got the order correct. But other than that wonderful never had a horrible experience here every now and again there's an issue with something they forgot to put in the bag. But just making sure you check everything before you walk away or drive away from the restaurant. Always helpful always nice and kind never about experience.

When I had this app a couple of years ago I was able to "get in line"(call ahead waiting). Now that I have downloaded the app again to a newer phone, I no longer have this option. Also under the payment option I would think the option of adding gift cards would be allowed, but it's not. VIP offers, I've spent a good bit of money at Texas Roadhouse but according to my history I've never been there. Idea; allow an option so the app can be scanned at the table to help track transaction of the loyal

Love this place! Been and on and off customer for years and never regretted a single visit! Food tastes amazing. Never gotten sick from their food by the way which is key to finding a place to eat at and/or take take-out from! Remember to read the signs when you order take-out! Also they get very busy so make sure you double-check your orders before leaving so you can make sure everything is correct. We're all human and make mistakes. Other than that, great place!

The app is working considerably better after uninstalling and reinstalling. I did have the issue if putting my credit card information in and it still wasn't accepting it. Eventually it did take it, but it took about 20 minutes (same card each time and the information was correct). Would be nice to be able to choose sides in a multiple way (i.e. two sides of mashed potatoes). But love the options you can choose or remove to truly customize your order.

I love Texas Roadhouse! The bread is absolutely to die for! The only thing I would change about the app is that I wish they offered delivery, even if they paired with a third-party like doordash. It would make the experience much easier for me. Also I wish they had a better loyalty program. Other than that it's great!! Favorite restaurant! So affordable & best food ever!

We always order and do the To Go...and it is SO convenient! They get the food done pretty fast, so far the accuracy of our orders have been on point, the employees are super nice and helpful, etc... My only complaint, I guess you could call it, would be that the portions of condiments/toppings (when it comes to butter, cinnamon butter, sour cream, dressings, etc...) is really small.

Love Texas Roadhouse!! I wanted to give 5 stars, but I'm having issuez with the app. My email address is grayed out and I have to keep entering my birth date and location. Also, when I go into settings, under Notification Setting for the Promotional Emails, it's turned off. When I turn it on and go out of the app and then go back on, it's set to off. I've deleted and re-added the app and it's still not working. I'm also not recieving any emails or text messages.
