This game is basically unplayable. There's an ad that's longer than the level in between each level. No way to pay to remove ads. And my bright cheery game of Tetris is now being interrupted by some horribly depressing ads for some game about a homeless mother who is apparently freezing to death. Gonna have to uninstall and come back when they get it together because this is bad.

Shame on you, developers. Don't bother. They completely change and *RESET* the app every couple of years and they do not care that they are resetting all of their players' progress. Lost all unlocks, high scores, and leveling. This is the second time this has happened. UPDATE: this is the THIRD time this has happened. really, really disappointed. y'all keep doubling down on trash decisions. I cannot express how much I hate this game now.

It's Tetris but with a bunch of unnecessary nonsense. There's a point system that doesn't matter because all that there is to spend your coins on is scam sweepstakes for vacations and cruises. Not even themes or anything like that. It doesn't even consistently display the correct amount of coins you have. There no battery saving options in the features. The ads are incessant and obnoxiously loud, but you can get around them with DNS options.

the ads are insane. i get that the company or whatever needs to make money, but there isn't the need to put an ad after literally every single level. even when I wanna just do the marathon, I have to watch an ad that most likely takes longer than 30 seconds to watch since whenever I click to x out, it'll take me to the play store. and the fact that you guys have been working on the "teams" feature for I feel like a year now. what? it was working just fine before. what even happened. disappointed

I concur with other reviewers - add a paid ad-free version, and the game is great. Or at least don't serve the ads after every single one of your very short levels, that's just a tad bit too much. You'll spend nearly as much time sitting and watching ads as you play and that becomes more true the better and quicker at the game you get.... Nah, forget that. Either add a paid ad-free version or substantially improve the ad serving structure, until then I'm gonna have to pass on it.

I have always loved Tetris but the amount of ads in this app make this virtually unplayable. Like do we seriously need an ad after every single level?? Additionally, because there are so many goddamn ads, you can't play without internet (which is usually when I want to play a game anyways). You'd think there would be an option to just buy the ad-free version of the app, but the only thing that gets close is to to pause ads for 30 days. This feels more like a cash grab rather than a game.

It's Tetris. So it's exactly what I expected. However there are SOOO MANY ads you can barely play the game! After every. Single. level. (And if you are good, the levels can take only a minute or two to complete). Will probably uninstall just because I downloaded the game to PLAY - not watch endless repeat ads for Township and Gardenscapes. Don't waste your time downloading until there's an ad-free version.

I think it's terrible that this company is being so money hungry and greedy that that are putting so many ads in the game. Yes, you can pay to remove the ads but it's only for 30 days. In addition, there is no teams aspect yet. Update: Teams aspect completely removed. Totally different game all aimed at getting your money!! Disappointed!

So an update finally came in. All we got was a new look? They still didn't bring back button controls. There's still ads after every. Single. Level. The new teams feature is unplayable because I don't have a Quick Play option. In fact, the only modes I have are Levels and Marathon. Your devs should work on features the people need, not useless stuff like a reskin. What are we doing here? Fix your game.

This 2 star review is because of the forced ads after every single game which don't last long because the game just doesn't want to run. Sometimes you would hard drop a piece and the next wouldn't load which softlocks the game, other times your inputs like a hard drop wouldn't appear to get accepted, so you hard drop again and the game suddenly hard drops the piece AND THE ONE AFTER THAT. Other times you would grab the peice in holding and the game would instantly hard drop it.

The new update is terrible. It's clunky and the graphics are junky and difficult to navigate. I have not been able to get through a single game since the update. I can't even see the ghost pieces and it makes it completely unusable for me. With the background being a solid dark purple/blue, it's an insult to being with vision impairment

Love tetris, I even pay for the ad free version because the ad version is unplayable. However most of the challenges I have gotten I have not gotten the rewards for, boss levels don't show up anymore, and there is no option for me to play Royale or Quick Play or earn themes, icons, etc like everyone else seems to. Not to mention the points you earn can't even go towards anything useful (like making it ad free...) What's the point in paying if I'm still limited? And their support team is useless.

Ohh nooooo, I HATE this layout: both the menu and the gameplay mode. It looks like a scam at this point. Very goofy and hard to parse, in an effort to be charmingly retro. I never would've updated had I known it would gunk things up like this. The graphics are overcomplicated and we're missing several gameplay modes that used to be fun. Sad. Docking an additional star for ONLY being able to login via Facebook. Absolutely not, at least let us use Google Play accounts.

I loved Tetris. It has been my go-to game for the past year+. However, I just got a new update that changed the look of the game and I hate the new look. It is no longer classic tetris. The background is darker and the pieces look funny. There should be an option to use the classic look and don't one. I guess I will have to find a new game to play, I hate it THAT much!!

Playing Tetris has been my preferred way of killing time for a long time now. I love this game, but I can't stand to play it anymore after the 6.0.2 update. The new updated look is fine, but the game play is significantly worse because of it. The game is glitchy, and I find the new graphics to be too distracting. I was disappointed to see there was no option to go back to the previous versions style. Hoping they roll back the excessive theatrics and go back to a cleaner, simpler Tetris.

I can deal with the ads, you want to get paid for your effort of building an app, I get that. But the whole force me to watch an ad for extra time as the challenges get tougher eventually becomes annoying and too many ads to even enjoy this game and all! Without the solicitation to buy time by watching long ads this app would be incredible! But the trade-off is ridiculously and annoying!

The new update does look nice but updated to have ads seemingly after every level now. Also changed so you can't just quickly play a level and switch to another app or close the phone. If the app closes before the ad is watched, then you will have to rebeat that level. Internet being required just for ads is so disappointing. All that being said, it was a fun game.
