The ability to talk to a doctor for five minutes on the phone and get a quick prescription is good. The app has had many failure points including running into blank screens when trying to set up or log in. It also has had internal server errors in setting up appointments. My family has had an issue all four times we have used the app and it has taken up hours of our time.

Waited for 2 hours to be seen. A counter displaying my place in the queue would have been helpful. A text message was sent at the 1 hour mark, but otherwise I had no indication I was progressing towards being seen. Due to the wait, I was in a public place when the doctor became available without warning. The app ignored my Bluetooth ear bud and defaulted to speakerphone. This was unexpected. The connection was good and the doctor was clear and helpful.

This app has issues, and when you try to resolve them, leaves you with a strong feeling of "no one is listening" - which isn't exactly ideal when you're using it for mental health/therapy. It bugs out, has redundant and conflicting notifications, and feels generally like a wall that you can't get through if you have an issue. Messaging your therapist isn't possible - I was successfully able to do it once and I'm not even sure how. The developers and need to make this app much more user friendly.

Borderline unusable. The UI is nice. But you CANNOT finish a simple flow on this thing. Forgot password? You're going to need to call support so they can manually do it. Reschedule an appointment? Absolutely not. It gets stuck. Performance is dismal. If you can get an appointment processed through the app, the providers are great! Get it together, Teladoc.

Difficult and inconsistent. Has a PIN that differs from my computer browser based account. Scheduling some consultations is nearly impossible. Final bonus, I have received scheduling messages yet cannot log in by browser or app. It's basically just foregoing care with extra steps. Update: app now sending me nonsense notifications with no easy to find setting to limit notifications to visits. Time to Uninstaller.

Waited for over two hours, got multiple texts that my case was being reviewed and to expect a call that never came. Eventually, somebody - not a doctor - called and told me there was no ETA and I'd be better off calling back the next day. Especially during times of severe inclement weather when getting to the hospital just isn't an option, I expected more from the app whose whole shtick is convenience. The app itself is also a bit of a nightmare, constantly crashing, etc.

I believe this was pretty functional at one time, but I forgot my password. Went through the process to reset, where they send a link via email. The link comes back as invalid to the app every time. Nothing worse than a simple task made frustrating when you are sick. Don't want to call because my voice is shot. Fix your system!

As other reviewers have stated,, the quality of care, once you are connected to a provider, is great, but the app is distressingly frustrating to use, to the extent that it impacts my care because I can't access all the messages from my provider sometimes until well after the response period has expired. This has led to cancelled and missed appointments, billing issues, and a lot of wasted time and energy.

The app allows you to manually input the pharmacy you want to use, then disregards your input. I've tried half a dozen times to connect with a physician, and the call either does not go through, the video is poor, the audio non-existent, or the call must be canceled (even though my signal is strong).

Death, taxes and Teladoc's app sucking. Each new release brings a Where's Waldo of fun new bugs. This app is pure garbage. You can't make it all the way through the sign up process without encountering multiple bugs. Error messages with nothing in them that wont allow you to proceed, info forms that you must fill out only to be wiped clean and require refilling on subsequent pages. Makes me question how secure my data is

Edited 3/1/24: I took away another star. Instead of not allowing access, have a message on app when it needs update. This app is terrible!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD I've had so many issues with this. Calls not going through, not being able to log into the app and, overall, customer service not either willing to help or unable to help. When I am able to have a session, the doctors have been great! I'd delete this but I've established some contact with a few specific doctors and don't want to give that up.

The providers on Teladoc are great. They are knowledgeable and informative. It's convenient as well. However...... PLEASE FIX THIS APP. It is not opening most times and it's giving the "App not responding" .... With the "wait" or "close" options. Then when it does finally open minutes later, none of the menus react to opening them. It won't open certain attachments nor any helpful content that is recommended by doctors on the app itself. Please fix the bugs, glitches and operation of this app.

The idea is good. App is glitchy, many aspects don't work properly. I was on an appt earlier today and every 5 seconds it asks to wait, shut down or report feedback....in the middle of my session. It needs work. Still pretty bad. Most links won't work, looking at reports often won't work. Trying to fill out the session questionnaire, it won't work.

I clicked to join the waiting room for my scheduled appointment 10 minutes early, and waited 30 minutes only to receive a text that my provider was unable to reach me - made no sense and very frustrating. Then I joined the ASAP queue from my computer browser and was seen quickly. The app also seems not to be optimized for my screen size (Samsung Galaxy Note 22 Ultra) - words are cut off or broken in odd places and I wasn't able to scroll down to see the full text on the "Helpful Tips" screen.

I've been using this app for a few years with no issues, but this year, the app has been such a pain. It doesn't recognize the insurance ID even after confirming with customer service that is in their system. Reinstalled the app numerous times and still having issues. Now, docs aren't opening. Not convenient at all these days if we're having to call customer service to set an appointment and have to listen to them read their disclaimers, word by word. Lol 😁 😒

The service is great but the app is horrible. I was using the Livongo app before and that was much better. The resources in the teladoc app in comparison are lacking. I used to be able find healthy tips and meal plans but can't find them here. I also feel like I'm going in circles in the app without getting anywhere. It's pretty good at tracking my health though

The app is horrible but honestly, the whole system is a nightmare. 1am emails about messages that don't actually exist but you've been waiting days to hear back from anyone, links to visits both in the app and through your email don't work (and reaching out for help is useless), providers are incorrectly listed and you don't find out until you're in the appointment, and god help you if you actually want to schedule an appointment because you will be playing the biggest guessing game blind.

The service is great, super easy to get everything set up, but like everyone else in the reviews I have to agree the apps functionality is bad, just minutes using it and you'll find a handful of issues like how it won't let me leave the medical history screen unless I close the app down..why (1 year later and the same issues are here and then some)

Never works when you need it. I used this many times before, but today it asked to confirm my insurance #, and it will not acknowledge it. There is a link under on case of emergencies: it does not work. I don't have mobile data in my location, so I can't give them a call. Besides, it never saves my login and password, not to say my preference for biometric. Always I login there is new problem, very frustrating.

App is frustrating. Communication is frustrating: I get email and text notifications (after setting preferences to text only) for every tiny thing. I get a notice at 3am telling me that I have a message in the app, only to take too long loading it to find it's a message that the particular messaging thread has been closed. I didn't need to know that, certainly not twice, certainly not at 3am, and they open a new thread for every recurring weekly visit. The only option for giving feedback is 800#
