Edit: upgraded the rating a little. It is easier now to find the locations and such. Also, the latest update makes it smoother switching between teams. But I an not a fan of the minimalistic all white background. The android version is very glitchy. I just switch from an iPhone to an android and I have a hard time getting the chats to load. I have to close out go back in and bounce around to other sections a lot before I get lucky and they load. Often it's just says chats with nothing under it.

Near impossible to have a conversation via chat. The chat portion of the app has got to be the most user-unfriendly experience I've ever been subjected to in an app. The ads cover the stuff you're typing. Finding messages is near impossible. Your half typed messages aren't saved in draft AFAIK and changing windows means starting again from scratch. Trashy experience.

Unable to login after hours of try. We are added to a team, and we get messages posted on the team. However we didn't receive the invitation. After I stalling the app, it says that they found our team and the email says "below team" but the section is empty. Alternatively the app shows a button to "send invitation" after I enter email address. Which doesn't work either as it opens Gmail app.

I am having problems viewing chats all of the sudden. It disappears and I can sometimes switch to emails and back and it will show up and other times I just have to wait awhile and try again. New problem - I have 3 teams on my account and I turned notifications completely off on one but I am still very blasted with email and pop up notifications.

Chats take long to load, need to constantly force close to reload between different chats. Biggest issue lately is when I edit "this event only" (operable word being ONLY), it updates all events. Has caused confusion with my team many times with events showing as cancelled, different time or location unbeknownst to me. Pretty important to have calendar working accordingly given that this is an app used to keep teams organized.

This used to be a great app to track games, and communicate with my soccer team. However, recent updates have made it so it now glitches on several features. The chat feature won't appear half of the time. If I add a recurring event on the schedule and try to change just one day, it changes the whole series! Things just keep getting worse!

Updated- I'm downgrading this app to two stars. If our club wasn't using it I would be done with it. It does not perform well on Android and malfunctions all the time. Overall a pretty good app for team communications, but if you are on multiple chats / teams, the ads can get very annoying. They should allow anyone with a paid subscription to avoid ads regardless of whose chat your on, but they don't. Perhaps offer a reasonable plan to where the people added to their team don't see ads either.

Editing my previous review, it seems as if the issues I was having with being unable to load or view messages in the app has been resolved and everything is working as it should for the most part. Taking off 1 star because I still have not been able to get the notifications sound to work even though I have notifications turned on in the app and in my phone settings.

Updating to 1 star as the most recent update has made it impossible for me to type a message in the chat.. the message window hides behind the phone keyboard so i cannot see what i am typing. It is then impossible to get the cursor in the correct place to fix typos without hitting the home button for the phone and losing everything. It had become worthless for me as a team manager.

Google calendar handles ics poorly, but it sucks that Teamsnap doesn't support android. The app starts slow and sometimes crashes. I assume because it's loading useless map images, when I'm just going to use my map app anyway. It takes a really long time to click the button to open the map app. Map links that you can send to others are broken. The "funny" loading comments aren't appreciated when the app is performing so poorly. It's a shame I'm paying for this via club fees.

The app is good for keeping your schedule and availability but bad for tracking wins and losses. You used to enter your result and it would keep your record and show if the game was won or lost. The update they rolled out that removed that feature was useless. Just to add to this review based off the most recent update that was deployed recently. The post-game report doesn't allow you to enter the game score. I'm testing out other apps which provide all the features I'm looking for.

I keep score, and every time I unlock my phone, it kicks me out to the game overview page. It's such a waste of time when there is a game in progress. 2nd, l have 2 kids' schedules, and if a game is in progress, it will take me to the kids' schedule view of who is not playing. Then, I have to switch users and get into the game in progress. Bad programming for something that's been around for years now.

UPDATE: If I could give this garbage app zero stars, I would. Lost password. Requested a reset via email, but no email came (no it's not in spam). Can't even find a place to update the password in the app. Absolute garbage. Account setup is confusing. Switched between viewing as my kid and then back to the parent view and now all of my chat messages with the team are gone. App is good in some basic ways, but where it gets things wrong it does so in spectacular fashion.

So many issues. The messaging, alerts, and updates never alert the team members regardless of whatever settings you use. Most of the time notifications aren't showing up even though you go through the settings to make sure they work. please fix the real time game screen, it comes and goes and usually never works. would be useful if it worked

The app was able to allow me to view different teams in one calendar view. I am now able to view this, and I pay for one of the teams I manage. It is not right that teamsnap changes a simple feature while I pay for the subscription to host one of the teams. If this does not change, then I will have to move to a different platform. Also, the app sometimes takes events, and other times, it is not able to create an event. Lately there are other gliches, which makes the site unreliable.

Garbage app. Nothing works correctly. When it does, it's the full screen ads that pop up and make you wait to x out of them, if you can find the x. A full page TeamSnap+ ad popped up this last time that I opened it and tried to force a 7 day trial on me and when the cancel button finally popped up in the corner, barely readable, it wouldn't close. I wouldn't use this app if the team did not.

It always took ages to load chat messages (the most important feature of the app), but now the app stopped showing chat messages at all. For two days it shows blank field while there is an important conversation going there (and yes, I did all the troubleshooting steps). P.S. I am adding stars because of the quick and professional support of the TeamSnap's team. They did some magic on their end and the chat is working now. Thanks!
