It used to be great, but not everyone wants to be forced to use biometrics to access their account. The new login screen doesn't remember your username either, and the option to make it remember has been removed. It's frustrating af.

Since the update it is terrible. I couldn't access my account for days and now I cannot access my Zelle. This isn't the first time I have had these issues with this bank either. I will be closing my accounts soon. They have closed down locations near me so I need the app and if it cannot function properly I cannot continue to bank with TDECU.

Scary. I have to turn my phone off to have the app fully logged off. It's not a practical method. The app is much less secure if I can not fully log out and close the app using the log out buttons supplied with the app.

TDECU has polite staff and has been an okay bank. but they arent part of the big IS credit union network.. so lots of ATM fees. the mobil app.. it would be funny how bad this app is, except that they handle my money. it takes 2 SMS to login + I have to search my email for a member number. chase app is easier. and my other credit union app puts this to absolute shame. I tried to use the useless in-app chatbot to lodge my displeasure, it helpfully provided a link that serves up a 403 error

the credit union has not been good to us, the app is a whole other issue, having to call each time to get a pin, and then we applied for a loan, they denied us, with over 790 credit score then called us that next week to see if we still wanted that loan, absolutely not!

if I could this a negative star count, it would be 100. I hate this app, and I hate this bank. Before they opened to pubkic and it was a company only CREDIT UNION, they were so much better. the app updated. I can no longer access my account. I've been on hold for 15 minutes. When I tried to recover, it told me my credentials were invalid. I have had the same account/member number for 25 years and the same phone number for 18 years. Do not bank here. As soon as I can, I am closing my account.

I enjoy TDECU as my local bank, it has great workers and services so I'll give their physical bank a 9 out of 10. However, their online app is one of the worst apps I've ever used. Their "maintenance" prevents me from checking my account when I need to make sure I have money to pay bills. My phone won't save the sign in settings so each time I use a different browser I have to reset my password and a few other issues. I recommend their bank but the app is a joke.

The number of notification options is impressive, for security reasons and peace of mind. The program over the years has worked very well depositing checks and checking balances has been seamless transferring funds is something I recently dipped my toes into and found to be quite easy. Having Zel attached to the account provides a secure and easy way to transfer funds amongst family and friends without incurring any fees or charges.

This app is Horrible now. This use to be a wonderful app. Now its just madness. I spend more time Uninstalling and reinstalling this app. Then I use it. I am down this once a week. Which is an extreme inconvenience. PLEASE FIX.. the issue is not with the user's. I getting a message always that stat unknown issue has occurred!

I've been using this app for MONTHS and It needs a SERIOUS Update. It has had a few here and there but It never seems to fix ANYTHING. Everytime I tap on the account It says "Error Problem". It does not provide time stamps for ANYTHING. And sometimes I can't even sign In!. It's very frustrating. For this bank to claim that It Is the best the app Is very bad.

Please fix and update this app. It worked perfectly on my old phone but ever since I got a new phone it's been really buggy. I'll try to log in and I'll get a message saying unknown error and try again and it will stop toward the end of loading and I'll have to keep trying several times until it finally works. I never had any problems with my old phone so I'm assuming it doesn't work with newer phones.

Calling it an app is a bit of a stretch. This is less of an app and more of a browser that opens the mobile website. So what's the problem? Well the developers seemingly failed to optimize the mobile website for mobile devices. For example, when trying to transfer funds you have to set a date, but the calendar opens off screen so I can't pick a date. Works the same in the "app" and on the "mobile" website. Basically TDECU is WAY behind in the banking app world.

I've had other banking apps in the past that had very limited functions, and didn't accurately keep track of my transactions ( my available balance would be wrong a lot). This app updates my account quickly, and makes it easy to pay my car note or credit card.

Very difficult to pay TDECU credit card via my phone app. Revised review: though it was a bit difficult for me at first I have learned how to use the features that I need and find the app useful. I had to make a cheat sheet to remind me how to access the screen but all is good now. Love the ability to sign in with biometrics.

User expirience is very smooth. Payments: Easy to make payments. Simple. Transfers: Moving money between accounts or even banks is seemless and almost instant. UI: Overall easy to navigate around. Visually, each element is quite distinguishable. Text is large and clear. Colors contrast well. Links are smooth and much quicker now than years prior. All in all, I haven't had any issues banking w/TDECU. Solid service, good interest rates. The app makes things so simple. No complaints.

Mixed Feelings - My app had been having issues since 12/23. I would get logged in but then the screen would go blank. Tried closing and re-opening but the on 12/28 decided to completly uninstall and reload the app. After that I was able to access my accounts and make my credit card payment/transfer. The app still is not showing my credit card payment amount due or any of my previous transaction history. other than that I have been happy with being able to easier see my account balances.

The app has been updated with a new menu system but all the Help documents, screen shots, and videos under the new Assistance menu are only applicable to an older version of the app. Right now, this Android version is ahead of the TDECU iOS app and the TDECU Web Online Banking. Hopefully, soon, no matter what device I'm on, all will have the same functionality and be in sync.

Not sure how this app is rated so highly. It's very slow to login and execute transactions, which is odd because it's just displaying the webpage. It's literally the same experience as connecting through a web browser, only far slower and borderline unresponsive at time. The app functions though I'm not sure why anyone would use it over a web browser.

Having this app has made banking for so easy. It allows another level of privacy for me when checking my balances. Although I love it, there's one minor problem. I'm not sure on the parameters of usage on the Zelle part of it. It doesn't allow me to use the Zelle part of it much. I've had to revert back to some old ways of transferring funds.

Its mostly a great app. I've used it for years with no problems. Able to deposit my checks, transfer money, and see all my transactions. My only issue is that the budgeting tool is useless since the linked bank for my credit card hasn't synced in over 2 months. This happened around the same time last year. It somehow started working again last year but no one knows why it keeps doing this. Update: it somehow works again. After unlinking and linking again it for a 3rd time.
