Told me I had to log back in.... so I log in with my saved info, and it says wrong password. Now it won't let you reset the password because it never sends you an email to reset it. Tech support only cared about asking what device I was connecting. Completely useless company.

It works really nice. I sometimes forget where the remote is, thankfully I have this app. If only there's a widget for this app so I can easily change the volume or channel without opening the app itself.

I bought a TCL smart dehumidifier and downloaded the app. It worked fine for 2 weeks and then stopped working. It says the dehumidifier is off when it's on and changes the settings rather than saving what was manually set. Terrible app!

I was able to use the app to control my AC unit for a month. There was an electricity stat option & variety of options for the swing. Then suddenly the AC didn't respond to the controls in the app. Tried to remove the device, uninstall the app & followed instructions in the manual but the unit no longer respond to the app at all. The options mentioned above is gone too. Tried in other phones as well, NOT WORKING AT ALL.

It's been a year since I'm using it. And so far it works well. This app has more controls/features than the remote. HOWEVER, IT SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING TODAY. Whenever I turn the AC on in the app, the devuce itself won't turn on. What happened?? Please fix it. The internet is good. And it is working in google assistant. But the remote in app suddenly stopped working.

I can log in to my account on my phone but not on my TV. I'm using the same network. It's just not locating my devices. TCL Home devices are very confusing and hard to set up. Technical support does not exist. This makes it difficult to use recommend TCL home devices.

Have to restart my phone every time I want the app to actually work( like that for alot of apps across multiple android phones, so probably not this apps fault), but after that it works perfectly. I would love a way to set a schedule for it to turn on automatically tho!

2 to 3 updates ago, the app was working great. I have FULL control over my AC unit. After an update, I had less control over the temperature. Now with the latest update, I lost all control. The app shows connection to my AC but when I enter the control part of my app, it displays that my AC is off even though it's turned on. I tried to remove and add the AC again but same issue. Devz, WTH are you doing??

6.27.24 UPDATE: I finally found a workaround, as I am currently using a Wi-Fi 6 router, I learned that the AC doesn't support WPA3 security encryption. I reverted my 2.4GHz to WPA2 security, and it worked as it should! **** Unable to connect to Split AC. Loading percent would get stuck at 90% (trying to connect to TCl IoT cloud service) only to fail afterwards. Have to restart my router every now and then just to detect the nearby device (AC). One of the worst smart home apps I've tried. *

Useless. Doesn't connect to Roku TV 32" - current FW version. Breeva A2 also no-go. TCL... consistently good hardware, but inept at software and Android app. Get your act together. Figured out the problem - at least regarding the Breeva A2... TCL website does not mention that two A2 sub-models exist... A215B has WiFi, the unmentioned A214B isn't even listed and has no WiFi. Very deceptive marketing using same model number. App nonetheless isn't helpful regarding compatibility.

App doesn't work at all. It doesn't find any devices and it constantly tells me that it can't connect. Everything on the device itself is doing the correct thing, beeping and whatever else. However, the app does nothing. I installed my TV completely file in the app and that every time it says the connection failed.

Nothing seems to work with the app (for me, at least). And I'm using a modern phone (Pixel 8 Pro) on a good/fast connection (fiber), and both my phone's OS and the TCL app are up-to-date. I can't 'Add devices' and I can't even call TCL (directly from the app) to ask them about it. Using 'Contact Us > Call > Televisions' gets me: "Connection failed."

Doesn't see my Google Home based TCL Series 4 TV. Sees the Roku version on my network that's signed into a different account. But the TV tied to the account I'm logged into the app with cannot connect. Additionally, the QR reader is garbage. It vibrates as if it's recognized the image, but then does nothing. The entire TCL half of my TV is useless without this app. At least the Google half is reliable. TCL, lowering my already extremely low expectations.

The older app that had the blue icon worked perfectly. I put this window unit in my closet for 2 yrs and now it's a different app and won't even recognize the device. What is wrong with you people, do you even see all these awful reviews? Bring the old app back, this was only 2022 and it worked great. You should be ashamed of marketing these units as being controllable this way because it doesn't seem to work for many people.

Terrible. Awful. Absolute garbage app. I have to uninstall and re-install the app each time I want to change ONE SETTING. Also the app never remembers the devices and will force you to go through the buggy re-connect process every time your wifi connection drops. Honestly have no idea how an app for controlling a device gets this messed up, Ive had items from Temu that work better.

Bought a dehumidifier and went to connect to this app. First, the links and QR code in the book don't even go to an existing webpage. Went to the webpage on my PC, the link to go to the Apple version of the app exists, but the link to go to the Andriod version doesn't go anywhere. Got the dehumidifier to display 'CF' and 'AP' to try both connect modes, neither worked.

Awful App!! Won't let me connect my device! Everytime it tries to communicate with my phone on the app, it ALWAYS time out at 80% then it kicks me off. Super annoying!! Connecting to the Google home is just as worst! You can't change the degrees from Celsius to F!! Plus, it just allows to only cool the room, and offers no other options to choose!!
