I have to reconnect Everytime I leave the screen to text, use the phone or browse. it's a pain. it works well though

time from install to using the remote was less than 1 minute and it just works. installed on another phone and the same thing super quick and it works. only got one ad so far if I find a paid version I will buy it for every phone I have excellent app

This app will spam you to leave a review and onky works for about three button presses and then quits. Absolute trash. Not to mention the ads that pop up in the middle of pressing the "buttons" - sneaky and shady.

Seems to include most functions. Does not allow long press on ok button (program detailed info). Want to choose the controlled device every time it is opened, rather than remembering last used (inconvenient).

It rarely works unfortunately. I have to restart the TV, kill the app, remove temp files and cache on my phone every single time I try to use it and even with that, it's still a 1 out of 5 attempts it might work.

Would be good if it could turn the telly on. Yes it's on the same wifi. It's good once the TV is on and the app can turn it off, just not on. Go figure. Have to turn the TV on manually at the moment until the replacement remote arrives

Was working well for a week, but now it doesn't connected to my TV anymore. I can see the the app can see my tv, but I can't connect to it. When it's working, it's easy to use. It often disconnects though - annoying to constantly reconnect to the TV.

Maybe it's just me but this app doesn't do much. Yes it controls volume and yes it'll shut the TV off (note: not on, just off) but most of the other functions don't work. I'll use the supplied remote, it works - it's the hardware not software that works.

il give it 4 stars cause it does work and I hardly need to use it so the adds don't bother me to much. I've had it open for 10mins trying to find a movie to watch and one add has played and 1 pop up close screen not to bad

If you lost your remote in a move i.e. (network changes happen and setting up the old net doesn't make the real Roku app work) this WORKS 100% like the actual Remote does. No network needed after install (or it doesn't connect thru wifi anyhow) TCL smart TV btw. Select TCL tv remote i.r. then, traditional method, and wham ya in business to setup the TV via WiFi again. Does have ads, but in a pinch this works great! Thanks dev for an app that does indeed work (that pic could use some pixels tho🤣

If it is possible would you please add voice search and real qwerty keyboard not just for the numbers because it strained my hand so bad to choose each one on the screen using the touch pad, but other than these two, everything else work like chef's kiss 😘

It used to work great, now it works once in a while. It's crazy. I have to keep uninstalling it and installing over and over and sometimes it might work. This is my only option right now until I get my new replacement remote because I lost my other one

When it works it's great, but it often loses connection to the TV, especially if the app is not in the foreground. Occasionally, the app hangs and locks up the phone and the only way to recover is to reboot the phone. Edit: I am getting so many intrusive video ads - including one where the app woke and turned on my TV - that I have now uninstalled the app. Is there any decent Android TV remote out there that's not based on this code?

It definitely works but after pushing 3 buttons you get ads which is annoying! Also, it stops working if you're not using it. You have to force close the app and re-open. 3 days in now, not working as it's telling me that I need to connect it to the same wi-fi name as my TV which it was but it kept giving me the same error so now I've uninstalled and downloaded another app.

So far so good. I just connected it and can honestly say that this is the first remote that I have been able to connect to my actual TV (other than Xfinity and that only turns it on and off and if I'm lucky controls the volume). This one the second I opened the app it asked what kind of remote I want it to be and when I clicked on my choice it told me to enter the code that is shown on my TV, I looked up and there was actually a code on my TV. No trying a million different ones, it was easy!

This app works splendidly! I tried another app that seemed to get frozen trying to reconnect after having already paired with the TV, but this one doesn't have that issue. The only drawback, if you could call it one, is that they REALLY want to know if the app is working, so every now and then I got a request to review the app and provide feedback. Hopefully, this solves that. But even if it didn't, this app is still great!
