Great App for staying organized at work. I downloaded this app to keep my work Tasks separate from the calendar on my phone, and so far it has been really helpful. The app is pleasing to the eye with customizable colors, and with just a click, I can see what is on the docket for the day ahead. Items can be easily reordered by tapping the drag handle on the right hand side of the task. Steve, the developer, is also very responsive and helpful!

I had used To Do app from Microsoft, which I like how it integrates with Outlook, but several months ago it began causing my phone to freeze. Took me awhile to figure out the cause, and when I did I deleted To Do. This app is better in many ways, so I'm glad I changed. And so far no problems with freezing the phone. After giving it a try for a couple of months, I'll probably upgrade to premium, not because I need more features but to support its continued success 😊

I perused several of the internet's top rated to do apps, but found this one by accident (I hadn't seen it on any lists) and immediately loved using it! Super customizable in every way, let's you make subtasks and sublists and include as much information as you like. I think it might be the perfect to do list app! What a gem to find! If you like the dopamine rush of checking things off and you have more things to do than you can keep track of, Tasks is for you!

I love the layout and the color options and the optional reminders and so far it doesn't seem limiting. I thought by now I'd have added so much that I would need to pay for the app, but not yet. Although I would be willing to pay for it because I think it's great! Update4/16/24 I didn't use the app for a while... tried out a few others but going to too this one. I wish they're was a mix of this app and Flow Savvy. Flow Savvy is nice but it's limited to laying out two weeks at a time. Not good.

I use this app several times a day. I'm retired, but I still have lots of different responsibilities. I have a grocery list, and as I buy each item, I hide the item. Then when I'm ready to go shopping again, I can bring the item up to the list again. And I'm constantly changing my priorities with ease. I Make use of the background colors for each chore. Morning shores is the lightest orange. Outdoor chores are green. Driving to errands are purple. That way, it's easy to regroup them.

Too much padding. Even with padding set to 0, 1 line max, and the smallest font, this has lines that are too tall. Inefficient, especially on a phone. I don't want a visual experience, I want an efficient way to manage my To Do lists (sharing with my family). This app may, or may not, be fine otherwise, but the visual design is a fail. Update: Yes I saw cozy.

I'm an ADHD check-off-girl. I love checking things off on my lists of things to do - it's positive evidence of my productivity and it makes me feel like I'm making progress. Tasks does this for me. It's simple, only essential bells and whistles like calendars, and reminder alarms. It's also straightforward, easy to understand, and intuitive in it's use. I'd add a few more check off features, but it works great for me as is.

I have tried a lot of task management apps, but this one outperforms them all. The user interface is so logical, uncluttered, and visually pleasing. With the ability to create unlimited lists and sublists and populate them with simple items or detailed tasks that you can categorize with custom tags, it does a lot. It has many versatile settings, task filtering, and sorting capabilities. It has a nifty widget as well. There are step-by-step YouTube videos, and the developer is very responsive.

This is a great checklist app. Nothing fancy, fairly easy to navigate for beginners, and pretty intuitive once you get used to it. I love that it has a sharing feature so my spouse and I can create to do and routine lists for the apartment. It's already been incredibly helpful.

Loving how I can create multiple lists, & create a "Now- Current Items" list. I move tasks from my other lists into that folder when I'm ready. I also love that I can add tags, so I know which list the to-do item was originally created. Perfect lists app that is helping me cut down on overwhelm & it does everything I could want. Thank you, Tasks developers! ❤️

Great so far. It's been my favorite in the few I tested. I think I might be more productive. 😊 One star comes off because the app unexpectedly started talking really loud at midnight. I think it was a scheduled task that did not get completed but no app by default should yell at you at midnight. Lucky for me I was up doing stuff.

nice app, but one annoying thing. don't know if it's an android thing or the app itself: i did a test for a sort of persistent reminder. if i set a reminder to go after every, say, 2 minutes, and then swipe away the notification, then the reminder does not repeat. this kind of reminder can prove useful in case of accidentally clearing notifications, or if i simply want a recurring notification throughout the day. it'd be nice to get a response from the developer.

I've used the Tasks app for several years, and it's been massively helpful in keeping track of reoccurring lists (eg, stuff to pack for camping or travel), errands, and appointment notes. As others mentioned, it's not great to need the Premium version to share lists between people and devices, but considering the basic version alone is great, the price is worth it. EDIT, to Dev - Hadn't meant to offend by mentioning $, just acknowledging others' criticism and saying it's still worth it.

Easy to use, and see different tasks. Recommend 👍 *add on * over a year later and I still love this app! Definitely wish I had the paid version though. I accidentally deleted the app and lost all my tasks. Nothing super important, but just a bummer that I messed up. Don't be like me, and just get the paid version 😅 still highly recommend!

I love this app. I've used it for years now, and it is great for keeping track of art project ideas, tasks around the house, and honey-do stuff. But, I bought a new phone because my old one was almost 7 years old and the battery wasn't holding a charge anymore. Unbeknownst to me, the massive list collection I've created CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED to my new phone unless I pay for the premium version. That may be the prerogative of the developer, but that's pretty low, in my opinion.

Update: Signs of a great design(er); 5 years on and it's still getting better! More functions, more polished, but still manages to keep a sleek, manageable look. Not intimidating and works well with other apps. Would still give 5 stars. Simple, attractive, efficient. Has just what I want without ALL (but some of) the bells, whistles & complications. I use it constantly and it really helps me to stay focused & remember All The Things. Excellent & getting better.

almost perfect. my only complaint is that "task deleted" sometimes gets stuck on the bottom, over the quick add bar. Hi Steve! generally I would agree with you, but I used the word stuck for a reason. Sometimes it is there for 10+ seconds and I have to back out of the list or the app in order to get it to go away. It would however be fair to say that I should have emailed you about this issue before posting a review. eta: The issue is apparently with my phone and not with the app, star readded.

This app has been very helpful to keep me on task! Personally, I assigned different days to my tasks and use the filter to remind me what to do daily. Once I check the list I can easily breeze through my day, checking off tasks as they are completed. I have tried other apps and this has been the easiest for me to use. One thing I hope for the future is the ability to set tasks for every other week/month, twice yearly, or even quarterly.

This app is intuitive and easy to set up. You can set up projects across the top and then drill down into sub-tasks. I use the app to keep track of all my "to do" lists: website, gardening, cooking, writing, and DIY projects. A main project is is used for daily priorities because those can change frequently, depending on weather and availability." This daily list is the structure for organizing my day and making sure the top priorities get done. I can copy yesterday's basic list and edit it.

I would love this app and give it a five if tasks were repeatable X days/weeks from the day of completion rather than just every X days/weeks. That's my only suggestion in what I'm looking for. Perhaps I'm missing something. Update: The developer listened to my suggestions and implemented them. Very impressed with that response. The tasks can now be repeated from the time of completion. Great app and I will now use it extensively. Lots of bells and whistles!
