I am able to choose who I want to complete the task based on their bio and ratings. The taskers are able to set their own rates. If a job needs to be done right I can elect to pay a little more for some one with better reviews and more experience, or I can find the cheapest person for an easy job. The best application for finding one time, or continuous help!

Crashes constantly. I can't use it at all now. Updating app and software does no good. I've restarted several times and factory reset. My wifi is very strong. App doesn't work on my wifi or when i have strong 5g connection. It doesn't even open. Immediate crash on icon press. I have a new pixel 6 running the latest app version and Android software. I don't have issues with any other apps on my device.

While the concept for a great app, with a strong customer base, is literally on the horizon, this company seems to take a step back every time they try to "rework" the app. Something's its like they go completely against the suggestions of the clients & taskers on how the app could be improved. As a tasker, if you have a request come in and you don't send a message to the client by 12/noon or 9pm, the system auto cancels the job and disables the chat feature, and so you've just lost the booking

I literally just downloaded this all about five minutes ago, and already there are issues. For starters, when trying to become a tasker, it wants you to open a new window in browser. I tried doing it from the all itself, but it won't let me. When trying to do it from the browser, it keeps asking me to login in. I put my username and password in and get the code for the two-step authentication, but it doesn't move on to the passcode screen for me to input it. Very annoying and frustrating.

I had a great mover help me, Juan P., who provided all necessary moving equipment at a fair price, was flexible and trustworthy, then suddenly I can't book this person anymore. I contacted support and they didn't solve my issue at all. It's an inconsistent app, as no other mover is comparable to his rate based on the quality of the service provided. I don't see the other movers I considered on the app anymore, and the turnover rate means you're better hiring them off the app.

The app is slow and also misleading when it shows rates. There is a 38% fee tacked on top of the taskers' rates, which is an insane price. There are other better apps for this purpose. Even the tasker is unhappy about the rates. And when trying to pay, it doesn't show the pay option when looking at the receipt. I had to click around a lot to figure out how to pay.

Had difficulty when I first started trying to sign up. Apparently there was a server issue that was preventing me from being able to create an account. I tried a couple of other apps, but came back to TaskRabbit because I wanted to give it another chance. I like that you can see rates charged by the different techs. I was ablebto create my account and everything went great after that.

Having the same issues some other reviewers have talked about. The service is great. My first booking went well. I liked it so much I figured I'd use it again. I've been trying to book my second booking for two hours. Each time I go to pay, it won't provide the payment option or hourly rate. Uninstalling doesn't help and neither does restarting the phone, app, or readding the payment method. So disappointed because it could be so helpful.

Oct 10 update: Things got worse. I kept trying to work with support and they were not listening to what was happening. This app is very buggy and I do not recommend. I closed my account. Don't bother. Horrible experience, especially if you move. It keeps defaulting to my old state even though I've changed it a bunch. It makes me enter my new address several times and never saves. I'd give negative stars if I could. Quality has gone down immensely and I'm a long time user.

My first experience with taskrabbit was a very last minute request for help moving. We had one person respond, it was his first experience too. He was awesome and we were very grateful for his excellent help. Now we're moving again, and our first helper is now an "Elite" mover and he popped up first on recommendations. Very smooth flow, fast and straightforward.

Great app but the navigation is not super easy. After I booked a task I realized they had the same address for both jobs and I couldn't change it. I had to cancel my task to re-write it and then the person I had hired stopped showing. Also you named task address for both options, which is confusing and that's why I added the same address twice. A great UX person can fix this easily. Other than that, app is great

The app barely works on Android. I have to use my old iPhone because it actually works. If you try to message anyone the interface progressively slows down so you can't type. So you have to race the clock if you want to send a message. If you have VPN on then it completely fails to load, probably due to location, but there is no feedback on screen.

You butchered the app and you're good at it! I don't even have the green bars that indicate the open calendar under certain days. Moreover, setting the availability is more complicated having that additional window. I can already set the times by sliding up/down. Also, there's no feature on how to filter notifications. The text box is still a mess, sometimes I have to force stop the app and restart it in order to be able to send a message a few sentences long.

I've had pleasant experiences with the taskers I've hired on the app, who have been professional and easy to work with. However, the app itself is very glitchy and could use improvement. The chat feature constantly freezes, forcing you to close and reopen the app every time you attempt to have a conversation with a tasker. There's a basic set of tasks that appear on the home screen and you don't have the ability to search for more specialized tasks (even if people list them on their profiles).

My first time using the app was great. I found a guy who set up my desk in a prompt and efficient manner. Unfortunately, my recent move was a disaster with not one, not two but FIVE Taskers canceling on me five minutes before they were supposed to start. The Taskers who bothered to show up were mostly friendly and professional (though the second ones double charged me). I don't have enough space to address problems with the app itself. Sorry.

Edit 2: work is coming back a bit but there are still glitches. Notifications can be hit or miss. And, when you don't get a notification for a same day task, they freeze your account. However, when unfreeze, you get taken off the same day list for that day. It's very frustrating. Then, on top of it all, you are unable to reach anyone on support. Support used to be excellent but now it's almost non-existant. This app used to be a full time job if you wanted it to be. Nowhere close anymore.

Useless, because I was trying to book a simple cleaning of my apartment and 7 Taskers in a row cancled/declined my request without any response to my chat where I said booking times and days were flexible. They were all marked as available for the days I chose. Shouldn't be this difficult to find someone! Also, glitchy where you never receive notifications, even with them turned on in settings. Had to keep checking manually.
