Its an good game but like previous players it takes way to long to get a good role of characters and ive been playing 4 about a year now i love the old school fell to the game and the sound track is great but it takes way 2 long to excel at the game and some of the campaign cheats by having 2 of the same card on a team but u cant have 2 of the same cards on your team im not going 2 spend money on a phone game its pointless especially if i cant control what character i want but its a decent game.

Love how it's not demanding like other games that are good from the start, then eventually becoming like a job you need to do, and it takes out all the fun. This game will always welcome you. You don't have to grind it that hard, a bit slow when you start at first, but with patience and luck, eventually, the game begins to be more fun and enjoyable compared when you start.

Great concept. I wish i only could upgrade faster. I don't get it why i can't buy cartridges and stuff, although i have 50k gems. Paying shouldn't be the only option. I am a Ftp not ptp

Great game, although the microtransactions are wayyyy to expensive. If they where a lot cheaper I would by them all of the time. But I never buy them since they cost too much. Dont the devs understand that if they were cheaper a lot more people would buy them??

The game is amazing, but is there a way you guys could add a trading system for fighters with your friends.

Amazing verify in characters and arcade style features, music in sync with the current times worth the money if your looking for complex simplicity as well gamers on a low budget phone will be happy.

By far the most simple fun play daily tap and wait wifi needed game on the app store. This banger of a game is truly a gamers type of game! There are so many fun references and easter eggs, the art is really nostalgic and well done with what it is and best of all its so new! They are constantly improving it! This is a hidden jewel of a game! They say pink pineapple is the jewel of the jungle. Maybe that's why the gems you use to get stuff are kinda pink! Lol

Most of your draws will be green heroes. Not even blue, just green. I've been playin for months and I saw only a handful of epic draws. If you think this is normal for a gathca game, I suggest you educate yourself. Oh, and other than not being fair and expensive, it has nice graphics, which seems enough for most people.

Looks like they have started paying for fake 5star reviews now. Pathetic. Changed from 4 stars - the game has gradually become more and more focused on the P2W players, they haven't added any new activities in forever, just new characters and upgrades that really can't be used fully unless you spend money. Too bad, cool art style, great music, smooth AF user interface, devs are just greedy like most mobile games.

Pretty freakin fun so far!! I only gave it 4 stars because too many of these games ask for a rating waaaay before you can give an actual informed one!! I understand why, its like youtubes like button for the algorithm, but most games give you an option for later!! This one didnt, which was kinda messed up!! I usually always tend to buy a 99 cent thing at least from all these games just because they deserve it!! Id like to get more time with the game, so thats high praise in itself!!

Not a F2P friendly game, because nothing in this game is ever guaranteed and everything is based on being lucky, and everything is pretty much a bottleneck too. Edit after playing it for 1 year and 2 months: It only truly gets more fun after ~5 months, when you're closing to Grand-mastering most of your core heroes and once you get into a good club for the Mech event (only fun event in the game). As I said on the past review, it's a very simple game with no huge time requirement, from 1* to 3*

A fun homage to retro beat-em-ups from the 90s. The music really catches the vibe of playing through the old school arcade cabinets. A great way to get that nostalgia hit.

The game is incredible. Graphics are great. The mech event is awesome. Even the mini games are good. Two of the mini games are pure gambling, so beware of spending there. Other than that, the dev provides regular updates and new fighters all the time. The game does not demand too much time, and we can still progress well. Especially in the mech event. It is one week off and one week on. So we can have great work-game balance in life.

My experience so far is pretty awesome, game gives me a lot of freebies from the start, looked at the reviews and it seems there's a lot of microtransactions (which I'm not looking forward to), And I personally like the way this game is styled. So overall, if you like idle fighting games (with the style of old fighting games) give this a go! :D

2 stars (from originally 5). The game gets to a heavy pay wall where there is no way to level up a lot of your characters (besides paying and hoping you get duplicates to further rank up). Introducing an alternate way to rank up characters might fix this, but as of now, I'm stuck on the last part of the 1st city w/ literally no way possible to make any of my characters strong enough to win. I've pretty much reached my "end". Fun characters and concepts, but sadly deleting

The game looks and sounds great, but like others have said, it's very pay-to-win. Devs are really stingy when it comes to giving you rewards, and you'll NEED better heroes to progress. Not enough activities either. Once you hit a wall, there isn't anything to do except wait until the next day to collect rewards and slowly increase your power. During gameplay, everything is automatic, from choosing your target to activating ultimates. No input from the player. I don't recommend this game.

The game has very a very awesome aesthetic but unfortunately is riddled with micro/macro transactions everywhere. There's at least 10 different purchasable bundles available at any given time, ranging from $5 to $100. Pulling characters is also underwhelming. While it has a great retro look, the characters don't really stand out. I really wanted to like this game but everything is locked behind a paywall.

I don't know what to think of this game. On one hand, the art style is nice, the user interface is one of the nicest I've seen in a mobile game, the gameplay is fun (at first) and not too complex or simple, and the daily rewards are oddly satisfying to collect. On the other hand the difficulty in all modes gets unreasonably high and you reach a point where it's impossible to progress without spending money or waiting until you draw a high tier fighter. Also the IAPs are insultingly expensive.

You'll have a lot to do a the start but you will hit a point around level 40-50 where there is pretty much nothing to do. The campaign fights have out leveled your team and you need to power them up but you can't get the right resources to do it. Pretty much everything is limited by a daily resource. All you can do is click collect for a few minutes a day. Of course there is micro transactions options in nearly every menu too.

Edit: MY GOD it's worse than I thought. RNG is completely broken to make you spend more and more. Seriously think it's programmed to not give you pulls you need. MICRO TRANSACTION HELL! First off... REALLY really fun game. Entertaining, great art and animation, the soundtrack is awesome. The first 2 weeks with this game have been really great. But once you hit the wall... At level 100... There is no way to continue without dumping a min. $20 into the game, then continued big investments.
